Nice staff. Lots of parts. If the don't have what you're looking for, they can order it.

Rob was great. He analyzed our problems, explained how to avoid issues in the future, and fixed our disposal and bath sink fixture issues.

We live in an older house in West Tampa. After pretty much a total remodel of both bathrooms and…read morethe kitchen, we experienced a homeowners nightmare...a plumber was doing periodic maintenance on our cast iron infrastructure when a pipe broke. After analyzing solutions with them, which included knocking out walls in both bathrooms, the owner handed us off to APEX. Joe and Mike came over to the house and examined what we had & took pictures. After running cameras through everything, they developed a hybrid solution that involved undermining accessible pipes and replacing with minimal intrusion as well as refurbishing and epoxy coating the remaining small segments of cast iron that would remain. Joe sat down at our dining room table and mapped it all out; showing us video of each problem point as well as what was salvageable & gave us a price. We signed off on it. With much apprehension on our part knowing our home was about to be dissected, Elliot and John arrived to start work. They were prompt, respectful, & empathetic to our dilemna. They were also insistent about putting protective paper down everywhere they worked to protect the flooring. At the end of the day, they swept, vacuumed, and mopped any debris that was remaining. This was the standard throughout the entire engagement. Their workmanship and attention to detail was spot on. All of Joe's guys were phenomenal. John, Elliot, Matt; I cannot remember all their names, were consummate professionals of the highest degree. I would not hesitate to recommend APEX Plumbing.

I dont leave reviews normally, but this company will never get my money. Its all AI now. I had an…read moreemergency at one of my rental properties, made an appointment (mind you this was 15 hours after I called) and once they got there, they said they were only there for a quote and the service couldn't be performed until tomorrow, another 24 hours. So 39 hours in total my tenants would be waiting for a solution to a plumbing issue. Also, their quote came in at almost 3x the amount other businesses gave me. I told the technician I was not interested in moving forward, then the company had the audacity to call me, again an AI robot, to try to schedule the service.

So, in looking about and doing my homework, with references, I settled on McGill to replumb under the home! (This was done after electrical rewiring and installing a new foundation) From the proposal by Ray to the work done by Joe, Kody and Steve and to the office support from Stacey and Jennifer, it was a slam dunk success! Communication every step of the way, descriptions and pictures of old pipes to be removed, hours to shut the system off, etc. It was done the way it was supposed to be done...prompt, personal and professional! Thanks McGill!!

I don't know how their in-the-field plumbers are, because I've never used them, but McGill Plumbing…read more& Water Treatment Inc's in-store parts department in Largo, FL is a joke. Their service counter employees are unhelpful and unknowledgeable about anything having to do with plumbing. I have only been in there 3 times in the 38 years that I have lived in Largo, FL. Each time it was for something simple and for convenience sake because they were right down the street. Each time I was met with blank stares, head scratching, and denial that such parts existed even though the broken part was in my hand. This last time was today, Tuesday, 11/2/2026, 1:45 pm, I brought in a broken dual flush toilet tank valve (a common part nowadays). I was told by the young man at the counter that they don't stock dual flush toilet valves, and even if they were to order this part for me, I would have to know the manufacturer of the toilet, because supposedly (in his mind) if dual flush toilet valves existed, they are proprietary and specific to each toilet manufacturer, what with differences in tank sizes, water volumes, and shapes. I don't know. Maybe he wasn't ill-educated in the ways of his chosen employment. Benefit of the doubt, maybe it was his idea of an elaborate joke. If that were the case he should have read the room. I was a sweat-soaked, walk-in, DIY homeowner who had just had to diagnose a leak and wrestle/dismantle an uncooperative toilet in an un-airconditioned Florida bathroom. If it was a joke, he should have saved would have probably been an overpriced sale by stopping me after I shook my head and headed toward the door with McGill Plumbing & Water Treatment Inc losing the money and (definitely) my return business. But then again, this has happened to me the few times I've been there before over decades, so I can only surmise that they think they are saving money by hiring day labor from off the street to man the in-store parts department counter. As I said, I have never used their in-the field plumbing service. That's mostly because of the terrible quality of the in-store parts sales service. Anyway, I went online and ordered a generic, universal, dual flush toilet valve on Amazon. It will arrive tomorrow morning. It will work just fine, because I live in the 21st century, where universal un-proprietary dual flush toilet valves exist all over the world (just not at McGill Plumbing & Water Treatment Inc, Largo, FL).
