We feel so fortunate to have found Shawn. He provides excellent, high-quality service at a very fair price. As a solo practitioner, he handles all the work himself, always arrives on time, and delivers outstanding results. To date, Shawn has replaced our water heater and an outdoor spigot, installed one toilet, repaired another, and redid the drains on two of our sinks. We are so impressed with his work that we will never hire anyone else for our future plumbing needs. We absolutely cannot recommend Today's Plumbing enough. read more

I called because of a surprise leak in our kitchen (is there any other kind?). Sean was able to come out same day and fix that and another problem. He was quick, effective, and pleasant to deal with. 10/10 would recommend, and will definitely call again with future needs. read more

Great company. Professional, reasonable and efficient. Quoted price was final bill. Easy to work worth. Definitely a great addition to your short list for any plumbing contracting needs. Seriously, we are lucky to have this good of a plumber company in our area. read more

Shawn is an absolute gem. He is an expert in his field - extremely knowledgeable and honest and willing to help in any way needed. If you are lucky enough to get on his schedule - you will realize how valuable he is. I had a very complicated water filtration setup that I couldn't make heads or tails out of. He took the time to investigate the system and how it works within the household. He troubleshooted and game planned on a fix and options to optimize the system to ensure I was getting the softened water I wanted. I can't thank him enough. read more

Called this morning and Shawn was busy and said he would try the next day. Well...he called me and his schedule changed and he came right after. 20 minutes later, it was all done, my hot water valve in the bathroom was fixed and I am a happy camper. Not only that but he gave me an estimate over the phone while talking to me of what he did think was and it was that problem and did not charge me one penny over... Will call him for sure again.... read more

I called yesterday for Shawn to come out to estimate a water heater leak issue my parents were experiencing. Thinking it's gonna be over 1k worth of repair/replacement,... Shawn showed up and was very honest and told my dad he only had to have one part replaced for a little less than $200. Sold! Great honest service! My parents had nothing but raves for Shawn and his company! Highly recommend! read more

Having a plumbing issue in the middle of the night is not fun. First thing this morning I consulted Yelp for an emergency plumber. Since I needed a plumber today, my first call was to Today's Plumbing. Shawn advised me he was already on his way to a job but could likely fit me in this afternoon. He took my name & number and said he would call me this afternoon to schedule a time. Leaving the water turned off I ran errands for the morning and sure enough around lunch time Shawn called me. We set an appointment for 3pm and just after 3 he arrived. He got right down to the problem and quoted a price. The guts of my toliet were bad and were causing the problem. The price he quoted was reasonable, included parts and labor, so I told him to go ahead and start. 10 minutes later he was done! The bathroom was clean & he explained what was done. There has been a problem with our kitchen sink for a bit so I figured while he was here maybe he could fix that too. I might mention here that my handy-ish neighbor hooked up our kitchen sink when we got a new one so I suspected that was probably part of the problem. Shawn quickly assessed the issues with the kitchen sink plumbing - there was more than one.. thank you neighbor - and told me what he could do then and there to help the problem and what we could do ourselves to fix the other issue. After he quoted a price, again reasonable, he got started. Snaking out the main drain line for a kitchen sink is no picnic on the 4th of July let me tell you. This was dirty, smelly, hot work. Shawn explained everything while he cleaned out the line and gave us some more suggestions on future maintenance of the plumbing to prevent future issues. When it was all said and done, I got two problems fixed by a very honest and knowledge plumber who discounted the service when I paid with cash. I have a few other plumbing projects planned - garbage disposal and new dishwasher - got estimates for these as well, again reasonable!! I will be calling Today's Plumbing again soon for these projects and any future repairs! read more

I called due to a toilet leak and Shawn was at my house within the hour. Honest and up front about the suspected issue, he quickly got to work... only to find the problem was bigger than expected. He took the time and explained what was going on before updating his estimate, which was quite fair. Once I agreed to the new estimate, he again got to work and our plumbing problem was soon a thing of the past. Bottom line- I was super impressed and would highly recommend him to anyone. It's good to know there are still honest, high quality professionals out there. read more

Today Plumbing is fantastic! Shawn checked out our running toilet and fixed a part we had replaced but hadn't installed properly! Quick and pleasant! An amazing business man who we certainly will call when the next plumbing problem occurs! Highly recommend this plumber! read more

I called Shawn about a leak in our toilet and he came by early the next morning to fix it. He worked with my tight schedule to get it done which was greatly appreciated. He was on time, professional, and accurate with time estimates. read more

Shawn is an absolute profession. Contacted Today's Plumbing while having a water emergency and Shawn remained in contact with me from start to finish. Came out the next day even though he was booked for two weeks! New water heater and plumbing work he did came out fantastic. Would recommend 1000 times over. read more

Shawn has worked on a number of items for us and we've always been happy. Very professional and thorough, and all the work is fairly priced. If you're looking for a dependable plumber to get the job done, look no further than Today's Plumbing! read more

This review is long overdue because we have called Shawn with Today's Plumbing for various issues over the last 5 years and have always been so happy with his work, expertise, responsiveness, and price. We had a faulty tankless heater that had a multitude of problems. Shawn went above and beyond to address it, repeatedly, working directly with the company so that we didn't have to, and spending many weekend hours in our garage so that our toddler could have a hot bath. We replaced the unit, Shawn did the installation, and we have not had an issue since. He has helped us with leak detection and toilet replacements as well. We've used other companies but won't again. Don't confuse "Today's Plumbing" with "Plumbing Today"! They are not there same and we did not have as good of an experience! Just call Shawn. He is the best. read more

These guys are awesome and I won't consider using anyone else in the future. Fast, professional, and honest.

Shawn has demonstrated over and over again what a PROFESSIONAL he is. No job big or small - is beyond his reach. I would highly recommend him to my friend, my neighbor, etc. Give them a call! He will stand by his work. read more

I was housesitting for my Mom in Palm Harbor. I noticed a leak under the kitchen sink. Regular handyman was on vacation so called Today's Plumbing based on great Yelp reviews. So glad I did. Shawn the owner was on vacation but still arranged for Fermin to come, within 3 hours! Handyman had diagnosed a bad faucet so I ordered a new one online. (as an aside, not a good idea!) Shawn gave me a quote over the phone to install the faucet. But Fermin found a bad valve and replaced that too. Turns out the faucet didn't fit for many reasons and I ended up buying another faucet locally (shoutout to Les at Home Depot at 19 and Curlew). Fermin had to come back the next day and got it in successfully. He even had made some calls to his plumbing supply folks to try and make the original faucet work. Yet when time to pay, I was only charged the original quote, despite Fermin spending 4+ hours, with 2 visits, extra calls, and the valve replacement. Fermin did excellent work, and was so careful to clean up. I just can't believe how service oriented, professional and honest these folks are. It is so refreshing. So Yelpers, thanks for the awesome recommendation, and 5 stars to Today's Plumbing. Fermin, you are the best, and can come over any play the piano for my Mom anytime! read more

Shawn was amazing! Arriving promptly to install my new water heater and water softener, he explained everything that he intended to do, and offered me both suggestions and choices regarding placement of the new equipment. He was extremely deferential to my concerns regarding safety during the pandemic, carefully keeping a distance while working in my garage. He is professional, considerate, and expert his work. When he completed the job, he charged me less than his online estimate, then carefully explained all pertinent warrantees and operating instructions. I'll certainly call on Shawn again for all of my plumbing needs.. read more

Shawn is awesome. After calling him at 9:00pm the night before with a plumbing issue, he showed up at 9am the next morning and solved the issue. He went above and beyond to make sure that everything was in proper working order before leaving. He is very professional and courteous, taking the time to make sure we were happy with the job. We will definitely use Today's Plumbing with any future plumbing needs. read more

Recently Yelp became my source for finding a plumber to do some kitchen plumbing work of the non-emergency kind. Specifically we needed the now-dead garbage disposal replaced and a newer version of our kitchen faucet installed. After a mutual miscommunication regarding the schedule for the aforementioned work was resolved, the work commenced quickly and efficiently and within the quoted budget. Shawn is both professional and very pleasant to work with and clearly takes pride in the work he performs with no mess left in his wake. There is no doubt that the next time plumbing work of any kind is required we will be contacting Shawn immediately and exclusively. He is the best. read more

Wow! An all-American business. I called in the afternoon about a problem with two toilets in our house. Shawn fit me in that day even though he was swamped the entire day and the next. He worked into the evening and fixed both toilets as well as giving us some pointers and tips on replacements for later down the road. If and when, we need plumbing services again, I will be calling this company. Oh, and the prices were realistic and fair. read more

Very knowledgeable, worked with me via phone / text message to schedule a good time, good prices. Gave me estimates on a few things no charge and also fixed a waterline to my fridge and made sure the piping was done properly. Will definitely use again. read more

I contacted Today's Plumbing when my water heater died. I contacted them because the business is in Safety Harbor and all the reviews were 5 stars. Sean responded immediately and discussed my options. He was at my house 2.5 hours later, installed the new water heater, and I had hot water within 30 minutes. Sean did a great job, was knowledgeable and professional. I will definitely use his services again and highly recommend him. read more

I called Shawn while at work for a repair on a valve in my laundry room. He asked me to send a picture due to my vague description and lack of plumbing knowledge. He was done in a matter of no time and a weight had been lifted off my shoulder's by the time work ended. Absolutely amazing! He is prompt, professional, and patient. I would recommend him to anyone and will definitely be using him for future work. read more

Trustworthy. I called Today's Plumbing because our hot water was a weird color and thought our water heater needed to be flushed. Shawn came out on time and tested our water heater and said it was our water softener. He could have flushed it and charged us. He is honest and knowledgable. read more

Shawn the owner was very knowledgeable and provided excellent, prompt service fixing our leaking shower. I would recommend them to anyone who is having plumbing issues. Thank you again, Today's Plumbing for a job well done. read more

As always, Shawn, owner of Today's Plumbing, is always there when I need him. He returns calls promptly, calls on route, and either fixes what's wrong at a reasonable rate, or as in my washer drainage problem (as mentioned by the appliance company I have to use for warranty), told me flat out that nothing was wrong with my plumbing. Even though he was here quite some time, since he didn't have to fix anything, there was no charge. He only charges reasonable rates when he actually has to get supplies, and do the work. He is professional, pleasant, and I enjoy finally finding a plumber I can count on after over 25 years in Pinellas County. I would recommend the company to everyone who requires good work, good prices, and reliable service. This is my third time needing a plumber and I'll never call anyone else but Today's Plumbing. Exceptional service! CALL THEM IF YOU HELP! read more

Great experience; came next day, accommodating around baby's nap, communicated when on way, beyond friendly, very knowledgable, fixed problem, fair prices. Thank you Shawn;) read more

Outstanding service. Called for a service call with an issue with our water heater. Shawn, the owner of the company arrived right on time and quickly diagnosed the problem as an issue with our water softener (which must be serviced by Kinetico) and not the water issue. Saved me money and was very honest, could have "trumped" up some fee for a fake part and didn't. I would highly recommend this company for any of your plumbing needs and I will definitely call them back for mine. read more
