    TruTankless Water Heater

As a commercial bakery, we don't have room for downtime--so having the right partners matters. DAM Plumbing absolutely delivered. We hired Derrick and Lucy and their team to replace an older tankless hot water heater with a new TruTankless GEN3 unit to improve flow and give us consistent, endless hot water for our operations. From start to finish, the experience was seamless. They showed up on time, worked clean, and kept us in the loop the entire time. That level of communication goes a long way when you're running a business like ours. They also recommended an electrician and coordinated everything smoothly, which helped us keep downtime to a minimum. Shoutout to Chris, who handled the installation--professional, detail-oriented, and just great to work with. What really stood out was the follow-up. They checked in over the next few days to make sure everything was running perfectly. You don't always see that level of care. Highly recommend DAM Plumbing--great people, great work, and a team that truly stands behind what they do.

My wife and I moved to the area, and it became apparent very quickly that we needed a hot water system and a water softener system. Dam Plumbing came out the same day I contacted them, gave me a quote, and then got me on the schedule that week. Chris and Brian came out and did a phenomenal job getting the old systems torn out and setting up the new ones in just a couple of hours. Chris also helped me coordinate with the electrical company so that they both were able to do the work the same day, which was great! Both Chris and Brian were professional and friendly in all my interactions with them. Thank you, gentlemen. Dam Plumbing gave me a reasonable price, and we are very happy with them. We plan on reaching out to them for our plumbing needs in the future.

We live in an older house in West Tampa. After pretty much a total remodel of both bathrooms and…read morethe kitchen, we experienced a homeowners nightmare...a plumber was doing periodic maintenance on our cast iron infrastructure when a pipe broke. After analyzing solutions with them, which included knocking out walls in both bathrooms, the owner handed us off to APEX. Joe and Mike came over to the house and examined what we had & took pictures. After running cameras through everything, they developed a hybrid solution that involved undermining accessible pipes and replacing with minimal intrusion as well as refurbishing and epoxy coating the remaining small segments of cast iron that would remain. Joe sat down at our dining room table and mapped it all out; showing us video of each problem point as well as what was salvageable & gave us a price. We signed off on it. With much apprehension on our part knowing our home was about to be dissected, Elliot and John arrived to start work. They were prompt, respectful, & empathetic to our dilemna. They were also insistent about putting protective paper down everywhere they worked to protect the flooring. At the end of the day, they swept, vacuumed, and mopped any debris that was remaining. This was the standard throughout the entire engagement. Their workmanship and attention to detail was spot on. All of Joe's guys were phenomenal. John, Elliot, Matt; I cannot remember all their names, were consummate professionals of the highest degree. I would not hesitate to recommend APEX Plumbing.

APEX Plumbing was awful! Communication was terrible. It took a month for a 2 day job. (Still never…read morecompleted) 1) They cut my electric lines under my patio by mistake. Things happen. I get that. NEVER TOLD ME. 2) Broke my gas pipe underground when digging. Mistakes happen. I get that. NEVER TOLD ME. I had to call them to find out why my gas was turned off 2 days later. 3) They propped my gate open to work. Left it that way when they left. My dog ran away. There are 2 signs saying to close the gate. 4) Scheduling nightmare. 5) They moved my hot tub to get to the area of work. They placed the cord on top of the cover. It rained. Broke. Mistakes happen. I replaced it. Then, when they finally came to fix another mistake they made... they left the cord on the cover exposed in a rain storm, AGAIN. I replaced it AGAIN. 6)They filled the hole on my patio with cement. It looked like a child did it. It was a quarter inch to half an inch higher than the rest of the patio. I called and complained. Sent them photos. They assured me they would fix it. It took them almost 2 weeks and 10 phone calls. 7) There's was a fan outside. They used it when filling cement in the hole they dug. Thats fine. Cement was left all over the new fan. 8) With the city program, they were to restore my property of how it was. They removed pavers and just left in a pile. STILL NOT RE-INSTALLED. 9) My home is old and didn't have a clean out. They tell me they need to install one. Great. They tell me, "It will look bad if we put it on the patio. After inspection, we will move it off the patio. Are you okay with that? We take pride in our work." I said "Whatever you think is best. Thanks." Where's is the clean out? In the middle of the patio. They never should have offered to put the clean out else where, if they weren't going to follow through. AND to offer doing something after a city inspection was sketchy. They are 100% not abiding by the city in most likely the majority of jobs performed.

Due to previous remodeling, they were able to get one bathroom functional in a couple of days. That was the good part. The rest of the work was sloppy, running piped ON the laundry room walls, kitching piping on the outside of the house. They were sloppy in cutting access holes in the walls and while they had indicated they would fix all that, they did not . They left drywall dust and insulation, tracking it through the house. Dirty hand prints on walls, doors and ceiling and cigarette butts everywhere outside, even after being asked to not drop them. I was pressured for final payment before it was all finished, probably why they didnt finish after payment. I would NOT recommend them under any circumstances.

James was sent and my girlfriend and I found him to be very friendly and knowledgeable. Trying to track down the problem (a foul sewer odor) when the washing machine was used was a process of elimination. There was a washing machine drain installation improperly done years ago that James saw and the thought was that the sewer gas was backing into the utility room particularly after doing a good number of loads of laundry. James corrected the problem and brought it up to code. His work was extremely neat and precise. Sadly for us the problem continued and James spent a good amount of time trying to snake the line and drop a video camera down. The drain line wasn't freeing up and the camera showed that there was still waste in the line which should have passed with the snaking. The thought was the perhaps the line broke somewhere down the run and we decided to take a few days to explore the options. It turned out the sanitary line in the complex started overflowing and what the property manger claimed was my girlfriend's problem was really the landlord's problem. I brought this to the attention of Jennifer from Jones and Sons, even though James had invested his time and materials on the job Jennifer was so pleasant and understanding. She asked for me to be patient and she would call me back the next day. James called me the next day and he was as nice as can be. Mind you his business card has him listed as "Uncle James" and lol that what I started calling him from the beginning. His words to me were " I want you to be happy, what can I do to make you happy? " We spoke and he really listened and we came to a very fair resolution. In reality James is like your uncle, your favorite uncle! Jennifer and James are the nicest people! I highly recommend Jones & Sons for who they are as people.
