System didn't work. It was obvious it had never been tested. Christopher recommended another path that required additional service/parts - VERY expensive solution. My husband replaced a dollar fuse, and the system worked. We had a separate service request. The work done was not what was originally discussed (much less this time) The invoice arrived 20% higher than what was communicated via text, with NO detail (just flat fee) We asked for the invoice detail We received an invoice with two lines (service and parts) The parts did not reflect the parts used. It totaled $165 and had generic parts, some of which were not even used. The service hours did not reflect the time invested. Christopher stated he would agree to revising the invoice to reflect what he had listed originally in the text to my husband, as a "favor". He would not revise the estimate to reflect the actual work done or parts use. I stated that I simply wanted to pay for the job completed - parts and labor. I have all of this in writing via text. And, we tried to give him many opportunities to correct the invoice without any negative assumptions. In the end, we will pay our invoice. I just know, as a small business owner, your reputation is very important. If customers don't have confidence in the integrity of the work being done, it definitely limits the success of the brand.

We had severe thunderstorms that very night. That level of carelessness is completely unacceptable from a professional pool company. Before anyone says, "Pools don't clear overnight," I understand that. I've owned a pool for years and have both opened it myself and hired pool companies. A green pool on opening day isn't the issue. The issue is that there was little indication that enough had been done to start the recovery process. There was virtually no chlorine smell, little to no improvement after the opening, and when I questioned it, I was simply told that chemicals had been added. What really turned this into a one-star review was the response from the company. Instead of addressing the concerns, I was met with excuses, dismissive answers, and a rude attitude. The woman I spoke with repeatedly talked over me and raised her voice. There was absolutely no interest in understanding the concerns or making the situation right. I was also told that they "don't clean pools." If that's the case, then what exactly does a $450 pool opening include? Removing the cover, installing the railings, and leaving the customer with a swamp? If the pool was exceptionally green and required additional chemicals beyond what was included in the opening, then tell me. Call me. Explain the situation. Give me the option to approve the additional cost. Don't leave the pool looking terrible and then act like that's just how it is. I genuinely cannot imagine how this company gets repeat business. The condition they left my pool in was unacceptable, and their response afterward was even worse. One final note: they require payment before the work is performed. Looking back, that should have been a red flag. I paid in full before they ever touched the pool, and once the work was done, there seemed to be very little concern about whether I was satisfied with the result. The attached photos were taken approximately 24 hours after Heritage Pools completed the opening service. The pool had been circulating continuously during that time and the photos accurately reflect the condition in which the pool was left. If removing the cover, installing the railings, and leaving your pool looking like a swamp sounds like a $450 pool opening to you, then this is the company for you. If your expectation is that a professional pool company will properly open your pool, communicate with you, and stand behind their work, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I had them come on 2 occasions last summer to help with a service need, both times was changed 90.00 and the problem wasn't fixed. In October I paid them to close my pool and heater. During this process they damaged a part of the heater. When I went to have them open the pool this spring I found the pool damaged due to the pool not being closed properly. I have asked them to take responsibility and they refused. I didn't keep a copy of the bill to close the pool, however I have 6 adults who were here to witness them coming. Until we visited a home show, and we priced out pools - and just when we were about to "bite the bullet", a well known company in the North Shore, that ONLY does spas and spa pools, gave us a really good breakdown on how a spa pool would fit our needs/lifestyle at a fraction of the cost of a pool. We embarked on doing research. LOTS of research (we currently own a non heated pool, and the maintenance hasn't been a big deal, so we KNEW what we would get ourselves in to... but $150K pricetag?! um, uh...). Wound up at NES (and you've read my review/experience on that, and subsequently the manager boohooing thinking we were "indoctrinated" by them only to ditch them... nope, they were overpriced and only decided to make a deal when they realized they lost the sale... but I digress). They tried to sell me a hose end "mineral filter" to remove dissolved copper from my well water. The filter, retailing north of $50 was nothing but a string filter designed to trap sand. Both the employee and his boss on the phone insisted on its efficacy. Arguing, the representative took an attitude with me. Both were uninformed or deliberately lying. Don't touch this one with a stick. Run, don't walk for the exit. Service, zero. Quality, zero. Value, less than zero. Zero stars.

Called this company to repair a pool liner that had come out of the track. They arrived and said I…read morewould need a new liner. I was leery since the only thing wrong was the liner was out of the track , no rips .. but agreed to have them install a new liner since I could not get another company out to look because of the pandemic and the other companies were all booked out. So this company looked at my liner in June and installed at the end of the season in September then closed my pool. This cost me over 3,000 to have this new liner in. The following season I opened my pool and the new liner this company installed had fallen out of the track in the same exact spot as the old one and was leaking on the bottom!!! I called them they came out and used flex seal to stick my new 3,000 liner to the wall of my pool ! This is how he fixed it ... oh and when they installed the new liner they took my pool apart wrong! The post and rails were a mess the next season when we took the cover off ! They actually hade the nerve to tell us never call them for repairs again because we didn't pay them 30 dollars for flex seal !!!! We had to take down the pool and install a new pool!!! NEVER use this company !!!
