I grew up in Warwick and had never visited Clearview Winery so I thought I should give it a try. So much quieter then most wineries in the area, which I loved! We had more time and space to really enjoy ourselves. There is outdoor seating on their balcony but we took a two person table inside as we weren't staying that long and they were setting up for music. I loved how they are doing wine tastings in social distancing times. The five wines came in little cups with the numbers on them and with a tasting list to go back a see what we were tasting. It was nice to guide ourselves through this, it's always the most awkward thing to taste wine right in front of the people working at a winery. The wines themselves were tasty, a bit on the sweeter side but tasty. I didn't have a single one that I hated, which is surprising. I have to say the reds were much better then the whites though! The so so rating is really because we bought two bottles of the Estate Seyval Blanc and one was definitely mislabeled, one was what we had tasted and liked, the other was sweet as anything and not to our tastes.

Service and Food was Awesome Staff was Very Kind and Friendly and Frank The Owner was The Best! A Great Escape from The City!!!!

The owner of the winery, Frank was great with our tasting. He explained everything and had a very nice conversation. The wines were all good. It was funny that a lot of their grapes are from Long Island. We went upstate to do something a bit different than the LI wineries. We liked what they did with the LI grapes better than what Long Island does with them. They had live music I wound up buying 3 bottles of wine! Loved the Merlot especially. Very nice experience

    Great meat & cheese plate!

Small intimate winery with great red wine - this wine tastes better than the other wineries nearby! They have a bordeaux-style which was fantastic along with a good merlot & cab. We did not taste any of the whites as we prefer red wine. If you are a beer drinker, they have some beer on tap! I think that is a great thing to offer something other than wine as not all people enjoy wine! We went on Mother's Day & they had a duo playing music & they were pretty good. Unfortunately it was raining so we were inside but if it's nice out, there have a lovely covered deck. Decent choices on food to pick on. We shared a meat & cheese plate which was delish! Check this place out - cheers!

My husband and I decided to take a day trip to Warwick. Losing track of time, we stopped upon Clearview Vineyard. Though they were about to close (we, of course, felt horrible!), we were insisted to come in. Frank, the owner, was our guide and he was exceptionally informative! We had so much fun and even got to listen to the Eagles with him before we left. While he cleaned up, he told us to take a walk to the top of the vineyard - BREATHTAKING. Of all the places we went to that day, this was the view we were looking for. If you have a chance, visit this vineyard! I'm currently topping off my glass with the Estate Vidal Blanc as we speak!

Enjoying wine, scenery and music. Thank you for being here for us to enjoy. Music is playing softly and makes visiting pleasant.

Whenever I visit Warwick, it is always timed when there's this country music festival at Warwick Winery which am not into. They charged you $15 just to get in regardless so I bailed out. Thanks to Yelp, that I ended up at Clearview Vineyard. I am happy with my cheese and fruit platter with the wine tasting. They have a live music. Although the grounds are a lot smaller than Warwick Winery, it didn't disappoint me and hubby. I am not a fan of heat so am happy seated indoor with AC. CV offers an outdoor seating in their deck with tables you can seat and drink as well. Highly recommended.

Our view from the top, breathtaking isn't it?

My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting Frank last Friday @ Clearview Vineyard. I was in my elements during my tasting as he specialized in every wine type. Frank was not only knowledgeable but extremely welcoming, even playing Adele on his massive system for our enjoyment. We made our journey to the top of the hill where we sat enjoying God's Creation, how breathtaking that was. We definitely recommend anyone to experience this vineyard and its awesome owner Frank. Thank you again for your hospitality and we hope to see you before seasons end.

    My favorite after the tasting.

Quaint winery tucked away off the road in Warwick. The music is good and the snacks Complement the the wines very well. The social distancing and cleaning was handled up to expectations. There is an excellent wine selection for the tasting.

Outdoor picnic tables near the vineyard + proper tables on patio.

The live music added a great touch, and it was lovely to relax with friends in the crisp autumn air. Service was friendly, but there were a few letdowns. Seating is limited, so be prepared to stand or get cozy. The cider was underwhelming and not served very cold, which took away from the experience. The charcuterie came in a plastic to-go box and was pretty basic--not quite what you'd expect from such a picturesque setting. Also worth noting: the bathrooms are porta-potties, which might be a dealbreaker for some.

We came on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't too busy at all. We opted for the sweet wine flight to share. The wines started off as follows: 1. Waywayanda white 2. Summer fields 3. Harvest time 4. International red 5. Ruby's kiss The first wine was very light and bland tasting for my opinion. My boyfriend loved it and actually bought a bottle of it. Summer fields was sweeter but definitely a lighter style wine. Three tasted like a Christmas season mulled wine but was absolutely delicious. Four was a very dry wine. I left that for my boyfriend to drink as I was not a fan. He enjoyed it and said it was crisp and a nice cold red. Ruby's kiss as always is delicious and a great drink. Taking away a star because we had politely asked our service what the Apple Dave's Distillery was next door and she responded with such attitude and disgust that was asked "that's an entirely separate business" and then abruptly left our table. Not sure what the issue was asking a simple question but it left a weird vibe I did not enjoy.

Upon entering, it looked more like a wine store than a typical winery tasting bar area. Cramped with lots of liquor, oils, and wines-with loads of signs around displaying the 'rules of the winery' (not your typical intoxicated people won't get served, but literal how he does the tasting rules) Entering the winery, we overheard the owner speaking with another group. He sounded passionate; discussing 'old world wine' and had a lot of wines to run through ...we got our hopes up-but our excitement quickly went away. Our tasting experience was very disappointing. We checked in with our passport (the normal tasting would have been $7 for 7 wines), and we informed of the many rules posted around (like no sharing), and learned apparently another rule is no choosing which wines. The man just started pouring: "Wine 1-a white" "....when we asked what kind of white, what kind of wine, grapes, flavor, etc. we got a grumpy (unintelligible) response. He merely moved onto "wine 2-a sweet". We asked for a tasting sheet to understand what we had in front of us, and he became even grumpier. We noticed there were more dry whites and lots of dry reds, and meekly asked to only do the dry reds. Out of nowhere he brings out bottles of random balsamic vinegar and vanilla extract and suggested we try these instead of wine-but we declined. Maybe we should have because the dry red wines he poured tasted as if they were all skunked. They tasted like took pre-used barrels from making his liquor to make one same red table wine, and then bottled this same wine into a variety of different labels based on it being from a different barrel each. Worst wine we've even had. We weren't given the time to learn anything about the wine, heck he wouldn't even tell us what some blends were blended with. We'd ask and he'd merely repeat the name of the wine and move on to the next. We were pushed in and out in less than 10 minutes.

At that time, the flights were served in "glasses" as they should be. Please see attached photos. -7/4/25 (2nd Visit) We came for the Fourth of July holiday. When we arrived at the winery, we noticed the winery appeared to be much larger. Later, we realized that this was an addition to the original tasting room. We came to the counter. I asked if they had wine flights. The young woman informed me that 4 tastings were $20 and 6 for $30. She was absolutely delightful. So we chose the 6 for $30. This flight was given to us in "plastic containers". I'd like to say that there were quite a few people in the winery. However, I noticed that they didn't order flights. That being said, I think they could've taken the time out to have the flights in glasses. After ther flight, I ordered a "glass"of the Traminette $10. It was served in plastic cup. I did mention to the server that it should be in a "wine glass". She poured the wine from the plastic cup into the glass. (At this point, the plastic negatively affects wine by altering its taste, aroma, and overall quality). I'm sure "management" has given instructions to their employees on how to serve wine flights etc... So I'm not faulting the servers. During our visit, we shared a chicken sandwich. It was very good. All the servers behind the counter were very courteous and sweet. My issue is with the management. I don't know what happened from a couple years ago to now, maybe management change? My photos from almost 3 years ago, show the flight served in glasses, not plastic. Anyway, we did have a very nice visit despite the issue with the plastic. The grounds of the vineyards are very nice to walk about. We did walk back to the original wine tasting building. It was totally refurbished from our original visit. A large picturesque tree stump parking lot is in front of the winery. Oceane Vineyards has a lot of wonderful potential. Some of their wines we thought were good. In fact, we purchased a very nice bottle of 2017 Riesling $30.00. I would've given the winery a higher score, if the flight and glass of wine weren't in plastic.

We arrived before sunset and enjoyed sipping on a flight of 6 wines while watching the sun go down. The views are scenic and serene...one can imagine almost being transported to the hills of Italy. As it was the cusp of twilight, what was really neat was that we got to see the sunset on one side and the moonrise on the other. For our flight, we tried the following wines: Whites: 1. NY Hibernette 2. Cali Chardonnay 3. Riesling Reds: 1. California Rosé 2. California Pinot Noir 3. Cali Cabernet Sauvignon The rosé was probably my favorite, so clear and fragrant, and we took a bottle home. John who I think is the manager (guy with shaved head and goatee) was very personable and came by to check on the customers and chat, and told us a bit about the history of the place. The property is 200 acres and is a passionate project of the owner Tom. There is lots of space for littles to run around and explore, with some games and toys set out for kids. The atmosphere is relaxed but lively, and there was a band playing. The rustic aesthetic of the barn is very cool, with several stalls to hang out in if you wanted to retreat to a more private space, and an event hall upstairs. We got nibblish toward the end of the evening and the kitchen was about to close, but they were kind to still take the orders of a couple of late stragglers like us. The food is typical bar fare, good enough for sopping up alcohol. Staff were all kind, welcoming, and accommodating. 5 stars for the fantastic atmosphere, hospitality, and experience. We went here on a random Wednesday afternoon so we basically had the orchard to ourselves. The first parking lot you see is for their store, you have to keep driving up for the u-pick orchard. There you check in to pay your admission fee, get your wristband, and get your apple picking bag(s). They give you a map where the ripe apples are highlighted for you. My favorite apples were the honeycrisp and snap dragons. They grow vegetables too but honestly we didn't explore the orchard that much (it was huge) so the only other thing I picked besides apples was a tomato, which I felt like was pretty difficult to find a good one. I handed out the apples to other friends and colleagues and they all liked them! There's something different about picking the apple straight off the tree than the apples you would normally just buy at a grocery store. It's a lot crispier when you pick them yourself! The store has apple cider doughnuts! Now being that I am a Californian where we don't have this apple picking culture, I was wondering what all the hype around apple cider doughnuts was about. NOW I GET IT they're so good! Unfortunately since we went on a weekday the doughnuts weren't fresh (they make them fresh on the weekends) so some of them were stale, but most were still good. It's honestly more of a cake than a doughnut, but so good! The doughnuts are self serve towards the back. The store also had a cat on the prowl haha We ended up not even having time to visit the petting zoo, but overall I think my colleagues had a good time here and I would recommend this orchard for anyone trying to have a no frills apple picking experience.
