They worked quietly and efficiently. The real satisfaction came with the morning sunrise. Instead of cloudy, diffused light, the sun streamed in unobstructed by the glass. Just spectacular. My only regret is that we didn't do this sooner!

I called and spoke to a representative from the company. She was very friendly and gave me a quote based on my description of my house and the tasks needed, and she was able to schedule me on the day before our sale was active on a weeks' notice. M&D sent out four ladies, and they did a great job. We were mainly looking for baseboards, high dusting, and light fixture cleaning, as well as floor cleaning (hardwood, carpet, and bathroom tile). They worked fast and cleaned more than I expected. I was very pleased with the results, and for the size of home the cost was very reasonable. I will be recommending them to my neighbors, and will likely call them in for a move out cleaning if our sales contract stipulates.

Though I knew I would be working from home I asked them to contact me 20 minutes before they would be arriving. We scheduled a 9-11 am arrival time. They called at 8:35 and indicated they would arrive in 20 minutes. I went downstairs as my building requires me to let them in, plus needed to show them where to park. I went downstairs at 8:55 and they weren't there. In fact I waited downstairs until 9:30 and called the number they called me from and it went right to voicemail. Ok, left them a message that I was going back upstairs and to call when they were closer. I found out they were in traffic due to construction. I think they should have called to tell me that. It was a workday for me! Anyway they arrived and hardly spoke English and I don't speak much Spanish. Recommend to the company that they send someone who at least has some basic knowledge of the English language so its not hard to explain things to them. Trying to tell them where to park was like pulling teeth. I knew what to expect as after I purchased the Groupon I went to their website. i could see that they upcharged for many things. Ok, well, I opted not to get any of the extras as all i really needed was some vacuuming, dusting, and basic cleaning. The cleaning part was the only reason for the 2 stars as they actually did a pretty good job there. But one of the ladies, her phone kept ringing and she'd pick it up and go into another room and talk on the phone. This happened multiple times and frankly I was getting sick of it since she was there to clean and I was trying to work. One call, okay, maybe two if it was an emergency, but more than that is just ridiculous. Again, send someone who has at least a basic grasp on the English language. Not likely to book again.
