I had visited another Master Tailor who told me that the fit was fine and that the slacks didn't need to be corrected. However, John took one look at them and said that the rise (space between waist and crotch) was too long. It was an ah ha moment! John educated me and fixed my slacks beautifully! Now I know what to look for when purchasing dress pants in the future! I couldn't be happier.

They did arrive on time…read more Look at my other review. Be very careful when choosing this company. Now I know they are dishonest. On the same day I posted an accurate review. They had a relative / friend post a star review. Isn't this odd. Their friend location is in South Carolina. The company responded I had a 4 bedroom house, yet they only "cleaned" (loosely saying the word "cleaned") 2. They arrived a 1:30pm and 3:00pm on the dot. As they were walking out I said did you clean this vinyl floor, the owner said yes. I replied there is no way, this looks the same. He told the lady to go get the swifter, she came in and was doing a half job for less then 5 minutes. I told them that is ok. Furthermore, I should have known they were going to be shady. Before purchasing the Groupon deal I called them and ask when I purchase the deal how soon can you come. The owner said if you purchase through us directly then we can come tomorrow, if you go through groupon it would be a few weeks to a month. I should have went with Groupon at least I would have had some accountable. Actually, I will call Groupon to inform them how this company is undercutting them and being shady.

I had never used a cleaning service before for my house. I did not know what expect. I put a request on Yelp and my request was submitted to 4 different cleaning service companies. Only 2 responded. I filled out the request at 4pm and got a response from this company immediately! They also were available to come next day, that's what I wanted. There was a guy and a girl who showed up ready to work. They took their time and did a GREAT job. A bit pricey so I could not afford s monthly cleaning but maybe once every 4 months. Kept me updated on arrival time. My first experience was good. I will use them again.

I wanted to provide an updated review based on our recent experiences…read more We've worked with Pilar, who handles all of the communication, while different members of her team come to do the cleaning. One challenge is that it isn't always the same cleaners, and the quality has been inconsistent. Some visits have been great, while others have fallen short, which has been frustrating. The biggest issue, however, has been scheduling. I want to extend grace because cleaning homes is physically demanding work, and I understand that delays can happen. That said, the arrival times have consistently been several hours later than the scheduled window. If you decide to use Pilar's service, I'd recommend planning for the cleaners to arrive three or more hours after the time you're given. While we've had some positive experiences, the inconsistency in both the cleaning quality and scheduling has made it difficult to rely on the service.

I appreciate the role which FixT serves, but with Yelp as the solicitation platform, it admittedly seems like another unnecessary middleman to go through them. The contractors did miss some minor things with our playground assembly, and unfortunately the price came in higher (without notification), despite my providing the exact model and steps required for assembly at the time of soliciting. The insurability and lack of comprehensive quality guarantees is a little off putting in the end, as even other entities that exclusively use "independent contractors" such as uber, still have additional protections in place for the end customer. Overall, they were good, not perfect. The process was wonky, but worked (for the most part) in the end. I just would prefer to go directly to the contractors in the future.
