I have been going to Dandy Cleaners on a weekly basis for ten years and I am truly thankful to have this reliable, small business in my neighborhood. The owners and employees are always friendly and pick up and drop off is always easy - especially with the drive through. Most weeks my husband or I are taking in a handful of his dress shirts but we take all of our dry cleaning here - his suits, my suits, overcoats, my special occasion dresses, curtains, etc. I also take all of my alternations to Dandy and their reliable alteration service has changed how I shop for clothes. Now when I am trying on clothes that don't fit quite right I buy them knowing I can easily get Dandy to help me with the perfect fit. I asked to remove a recent stain from my pants. They did not remove the stain or inform me that it was still present on my clothes. It is now worse because they dried the pants and which will set the stain. On a positive note they were fast. read more

I went here to have a change the zipper of a sweater. When I asked for the price, he said $20 and to be ready in 4 days. I feel that was a little pricey, but I did it. I went to pick it up after four days, and they told me they had misplaced the sweater, and it was not done. So, they said to me to come back next week on Friday. I took a bridesmaid dress to be hemmed. The hem looks great (Altho was $$$$ but dress did have 3 layers). The 2 stars is because I received the dress back with 2 stains on the bottom. They claimed they didn't do it and did not offer to clean it but said it would be $28 to clean. I was very disappointed after paying $90 for a hem that I ended up with a dress with stains. I would have thought they would have offered to rectify the situation. Very unhappy - hopefully no one notices at the wedding. read more

BRIDESMAIDS BEWARE!!! Took a bridesmaid dress for the most simple hem (Less than 1 inch off) and they charged $118!!! The hem was more than I paid for the dress plus shipping! The job was decent and no complaints there, but feel that they need to be much more transparent on the astronomical amount they charge. I have been in over 10 weddings and have never paid close to that much for more than a hem alterations! Hope this is helpful for the next person! read more

They went above and beyond this past Saturday when my cousin did not pick up her bridesmaids dress for my wedding by closing hours on Saturday. (Sunday wedding) we continued calling and the owner happened to stop back the store on the way to VA. He waited for my cousin to run over to the store to get her dress after hours. Thank you! Truly the best cleaners and nicest people. And the fact that there is drive through during the pandemic is the icing on the cake!

I went here because it was referred to my by a friend. This place is AWFUL. I took a military shirt here to get dry-cleaned only. I specifically said, no press. They charged me $5 for one shirt, pressed the living hell out of it with double creases all over, and didn't clean it at all! There were also about 4-5 staples in it right on the collar and sleeve. I told the lady working there, "Excuse me, I asked for no press and this is still dirty." She looked at me smiling and acting ignorant as if she doesn't understand English. "Yes, it press and clean! Thank youuuuuu." I'm never coming here again. They just ruined a stupid shirt that costs way too much money for what it is and I ended up paying $5. From now on, I'll be taking my business to ZOOM. They charge 1/3 of this and actually listen. read more

I went here to have a wool jacket cleaned. Initially she was hesitant to give me a price when she did it was $15.60, for one men's jacket. I was in a bind so I had it cleaned there. The jacket came out clean and with minimal lint. I Just felt the price was outrageous. For future cleaning I found a different cleaners, with more reasonable prices. read more

They've mended and altered clothing, always right. Wedding clothes expertly altered and maintained.
