I purchased a pair of pants that were too small and couldn't return them because they were a final…read moresale item. They are very nice pants and I wanted to get use out of them. So, I started looking for a tailor to see if they could be adjusted to fit me. I was so happy to have found AIB Custom Tailor in Annapolis Mall. The pants had no stretch, but had a front zipper, button closure and wide legs with a cuff. The tailor looked at the pants and said he could fix them if I was willing to give up the cuffs that would give him the extra material he would need to fix the pants. I said YES and was so excited that I found someone that could fix my pants. He asked me when I wanted the pants back and I told him by the weekend (Saturday). That only gave him 3 days. I called him on Saturday afternoon and he said my pants were ready. I immediately left to go pick them up. When I got there he gave me the pants to try on and they fit like a glove. I couldn't believe it! You couldn't tell the pants had been altered at all except they no longer had the cuff. I was so happy! I will be going back again to have other clothes altered.

I took a moment to write this review because I wanted to have something to compare my experience…read moreto. I visited said cleaners on a Saturday afternoon to drop four dresses off for PRESS ONLY as I had already laundered them at home, I also thought this would cut the wait time down a bit. Well, my first shock was that I was informed my dresses wouldn't be ready for pick up until Thursday I understand that they are closed on Sunday, but four days to press four dresses? Not one thing is express about that! We settled on Wednesday after 4pm which is still pretty much Thursday, but slightly better. My second surprise was the charge, for the pressing of these four dresses I was charged over $42, yup you read that right. I probably should've walked out then, but I decided to give them a try. My dresses were ready at the agreed upon time and pressed nicely, but was it worth over $10 per dress, absolutely NOT. I have since just switched to Zips and three dresses pressed only costed me the price of one dress at Dryclean Express and they were ready the next day, before the promised time, that's express to me! I hope this review helps someone that may be looking for this service.

The owners and employees are always friendly and pick up and drop off is always easy - especially with the drive through. Most weeks my husband or I are taking in a handful of his dress shirts but we take all of our dry cleaning here - his suits, my suits, overcoats, my special occasion dresses, curtains, etc. I also take all of my alternations to Dandy and their reliable alteration service has changed how I shop for clothes. Now when I am trying on clothes that don't fit quite right I buy them knowing I can easily get Dandy to help me with the perfect fit. I used to be quite the seamstress but now I am lazy and I rely on the quality work of Dandy.
