Excellent service!!! Scheduling was really easy and fast, they had availability within the same week I had asked for a quote. Patrick arrived within the time frame that was given to me. He explained how I had booked a level 1 cleaning to our fireplace but he would see if there is anything more that is needed. Cleaning took about 20 minutes and when he had finished, he explained the type of fireplace we have and does not recommend a level 2 cleaning. Overall, I was pretty impressed with the customer service, responsiveness, and professionalism of Dealo and JD. I found them on Yelp, they stayed in close communication as I had questions on how to prepare etc since this was my first time using an air duct cleaning service. I contacted a ton of companies, but I'm ultimately glad I went with this one. Although they showed up within the window they scheduled, extremely professional. It was rainy so I was already feeling like I was about to have mud all through the house, but without hesitation the team put on the shoe booties and went to work. We did a quick walk through to identify all the vents, returns, and the unit. From there Dealo highlighted a few trouble areas and expressed concerns for my unit. I didn't feel like he was shoving a service down my throat, but I did feel informed. I'm clearly giving this company (really Dealo and JD) a lot of praise because they deserve it. Heads up if you decide to book with them: Be sure to provide details on where your dryer is located and where the vent is, as well as the length of the vent. The flat fee they quote is for a "normal" dryer vents. When the technician arrived to clean my dryer vent, which is on our second floor and runs through the attic, I was told there would be an additional fee and that they didn't have the time or equipment to do a proper cleaning during our scheduled appointment. After calling three other companies and providing specifics on our dryer vent, no one else said they charged additional fees for having to access the vent through the attic. Very frustrating as I'll have to wait another week for an appointment with another company. read more

Pricing and service level advertised did not reflect the service provided. An inspection for $99 provided and was to be applied to a cleaning. After inspection the fireplace was noted as in good working condition with a cleaning of the chimney recommended. The cleaning was scheduled for the following week and when the tech arrived I was immediately informed the fireplace inspection did not apply to the chimney inspection. The chimney cleaner said the fireplace inspection did not identify damage to the firebox, grate, damper, and fire chamber-all of which required repairs prior to any cleaning. The tech initially argued a fee was owed for his time but ended up not charging anything after a lengthy discussion to include showing an email stating the fireplace was in good condition from the fireplace tech. The chimney tech then said his team would contact me with pricing and in the end they never did. Essentially we paid $99 for a fireplace tech to turn on the fireplace and nothing else. Poor experience! I had a time window from 4-7pm to do the duct cleaning of my house. I took a half-day from work in order to be there to receive the technician. I got a call at 5pm saying that the tech had car issues but they'll be at my place in 30 minutes or so. I got another call around 5:40pm saying that the technician won't make it and I need to reschedule. I spoke to the manager who then told me a complete different story...according to him there was no car issue and the technician got held back at the previous job due to it taking longer. I told them that they can still come afterwards, which the manager said that they won't because my duct cleaning will take 3 hours...but when I scheduled the appointment they told me it would only take 1.5 hours!
