After sending photos and doing some phone troubleshooting, we were told we needed a part--and that we'd be lucky if it was fixed before Christmas. Then came a video call with Jason from the DMV area, from ABDB Home Services, who patiently walked us through the process. As it turned out, all it needed was a simple cleaning of a clogged duct--something we could do ourselves. And just like that, it works! I told them I had it 6 months ago - but I needed a new one. Fine. I used a different company to inspect the chimney and do some brick work. I saw the photos of the debris on the shelf and inside the chimney!! The other company removed Half of a 5 gallon bucket of debris. And they showed me a nail or screw one damper that was not secured during the first cleaning. So I am very disappointed - did JCS even do anything? Oh, and I paid double to JCS rather than the second company for the same services. TLDR: I do not recommend JCS
