Had a great facial at this location. Staff were very friendly and apologetic when appointments before ours were running over. (This did alter our plans after but we adjusted). I have several fruit and nut allergies so they were careful to make sure the products used on my face would not cause any allergic reactions. I did the 30 minute facial with the Virgin Bundle add-on which included ultrasonic extractions, a pumpkin peel, and hydro boost. I was a little worried about the pain with the ultrasonic extractions as it can be uncomfortable but it wasn't at all. The best part was the facial massage. I had to peel myself up off the chair and my skin was glowing. I decided to sign-up for the membership at $55 a month which covers one facial a month (normally $70) and it can be cancelled at any time. There was no pressure to sign-up. I wanted to as part of my self-care. The only suggestion I would make would be the online appointment system. There were some issues when I first tried to sign-up but that got resolved and when I got the email about my membership, it now says I must call or text for an appointment. read more

A quick, easy and laid back facial experience. Madeline was wonderful! She explained each step of the way and the facial massage was so relaxing. What a terrific concept! As someone who doesn't need an hour for a facial due to my busy schedule I am completely fine with the assembly line feel of this place. I still felt as though my facial relaxed me, healed my blemishes (actually did), and extracted while also icing my face. Brand new business on Pearl Street! And so happy they're here. They are located at the end of Pearl between Hoja and Buchtel (RIP Sabel Home, who used to be next door). This franchise is minority-owned, having been started by a South Asian businesswoman. To start, my facialist walked me through the quality of my skin and recommended add-ons accordingly. I ended up opting for extractions and the pumpkin peel. The extractions here are done without tools. The pumpkin peel was *spicy* - something to keep in mind if you have sensitive skin. I also had some cold clay and tea tree oil mixture which was also *spicy* but it was massaged into my skin with ice rollers which felt amazing. I did find, a few hours later, that my rosacea did not enjoy something in the facial and I had little a flare-up. I knew it was a possibility and thankfully it wasn't painful, just a bit red. My skin also looked brighter and felt so soft. Overall, my skin tolerated the facial well and I'd be down to come back. My favourite parts of the facial: - The ice rollers were fan-freaking-tastic. - The facial massage with a light facial oil sealed all the good stuff in. I was basically slugged. - They finished with sunscreen, a thoughtful last step. My face felt super hydrated and protected when I left. If I could make any recommendations in preparation, it would be to come with a clean face (avoid make-up); and put vaseline on your lips too (if you're not opting for the hyaluronic lip add-on). Some of the pumpkin peel got onto my lips and they were *spicy* for a bit. I saw Mallory, and she scrubbed my face, cleansed it, steamed it, exfoliated and toned it, moisturized it and left me thinking, I am going to break out like crazy. I was excited to check out Clean Your Dirty Face and the Pearl Street location was very cute. Parking was easy on a weekday and the store front was easy to find. The staff was incredibly nice and the vibe of Clean Your Dirty Face was modern and fun. There are a few chairs all in the same room so you could be getting a facial next to another person unlike a traditional esthetician/spa. Clean Your Dirty Face is a lovely experience from the moment you walk in until you leave. Everyone is so friendly and professional. The space is compact, but it doesn't need to be any bigger. The space features three facial chairs, so there is not a ton of privacy. It doesn't bother me much, but it's probably a good heads-up that you'll be in the high facial chairs side-by-side. It is behind a wall, so no one from the street would see you from the outside if it's a concern. I did a facial with the virgin bundle which included the pumpkin peel and the hydro boost. The pumpkin peel is pretty intense. It was my first peel and it felt like it was pretty intense, but afterward, my skin didn't look crazy red or anything since she sprayed my face with the rose water toner. It felt lovely! I don't have a lot of skin issues, so I don't feel the need to go too hard with the products. I am learning how to take better care of my skin and love the walkthrough of products being used if I were to decide to take anything home. I received the wonderful chance to get a facial at Clean Your Dirty Face. I love me a quick, less than two hour facial, so when I received this wonderful chance to try out CYDF, I was stoked! This review is based on my experience as a sensitive skin individual. This location is located right on Buchtel and S. Pearl. Upon walking in, you're greeted by bright colors and hip minimalist decor. CYDF is a no-frills facial experience. All facials are done in their back room, which is setup much like hairstylist booths. Their facials include three customizable lines, based on your specific skin concerns: anti-aging, acne-prone, and brightening. I will preface that I have sensitive skin so, if you're like me where you have sensitive skin, you might want to double-verify with your dermatologist if this place would be a good option for you. Their scorpion scrub was used on me and left some residual redness on my cheeks and forehead, and burned a lot on my cheek area, so if you have sensitive skin, maybe ask for a different option. However, the experience from this facial was prompt and to the point. Overall, my experience was nice, this place is super bright-- it's different, but it works. I've been getting facials for a few years and I've been wanting to visit Clean Your Dirty Face. I finally got a facial there last week, and I really enjoyed it! The location is super convenient and I found a parking spot right out front. I was greeted by name and I filled out a form regarding information on my skin with spots to write down any concerns. I was taken to the back where I observed three separate stations each with reclining spa chairs for customers. Mallory gave me an overview of the service and started right away. At this point, I liked the efficiency. The facials are a thirty-minute experience, with an option to upgrade to an hour. Mallory did an amazing job. She was really thorough and I especially loved the amount of pressure she uses during the massage portion. I learned that all of the products they use are their own, and you can buy any of them directly in their store. They all smell so good and felt great on my skin. I'm considering buying their SPF after wearing it post-facial! My skin felt and looked amazing afterwards, and when I checked out, I didn't feel pressured to buy anything during check out (nor during check-in with upgrades) - a welcome feeling. I think it would be a really good option for people who haven't had facials before, as it's a low-pressure, short commitment in a welcoming space. If you're looking for something more relaxing, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it as you're sharing the space with potentially two other customers and technicians. It started with private parking spots because, as a Denver area newbie, I learned that the Pearl street area is SUPER popular on Sundays! I was greeted not only by their front desk staff but also by their beautiful decor and product wall. I filled out a questionnaire listing my skin concerns, allergies, and wishes, where I was able to add on the virgin service as a first timer. It was great to add something last minute after hearing the benefits. I was soon brought back into a chair to start my journey to skin greatness. This is set up like a hair salon- you will be in a chair (kind of like a dentists office?) and leaned back. Other people are seated next to you and it's all very open. The room is not closed off from the entrance either. So, if you like your facials to be in a quiet room with ambient music and a serene environment, not the facial place for you. That being said, I enjoyed the facial I had. I opted for a 1 hour, basic hydrating/exfoliating facial. Other things to note: -The best part of the facial was the extensive massaging. She didn't walk away with products on my skin for a long time, she actually took her time to massage them in. It was soo nice. -They use facial oil instead of cream to moisturize. I guess spf is also in the oil, which was new to me. -I thought that the towel used to remove each product was fairly rough. Just felt like a cheap towel. Would've been nicer if they used a softer cloth. -All of the products smelled great! From check in to check out, I was feeling 5 years younger in 30 minutes. My licensed esthetician used vegan, cruelty-free, non-toxic formulas that smelled refreshing and left my face feeling fresh and clean and not overly oily or caked on with product. I opted for the FRESH facial which helps lighten dark spots and added on a Tech Neck Massage (+$30) and Aqua Collagen Eye Pad (+$10). Both were 100% worth the price for this tired mom. The Fresh facial with Ashley started with the Lotus brightening face wash, followed by the scorpion scrub (with witch hazel to help clear bacteria), then the Lemony Leopard face mask to hydrate and clean, spritzed with the Goddess (which is great for freshening up on the go), and finished with the Dancer face oil for hydration. She did put on a layer of sunscreen as well to protect against this harsh Denver sun. Ashley chatted easily with me the whole time and also took the time and effort to explain each step and product before it was applied. The brief consultation before she began helped her to identify the condition of my skin and pick the best products for my face. CYDF has membership packages which will save you money on monthly facials (retail $60) and products. You can sign up online or in person at your visit. Ashley who was my esthetician was amazing, her hands found muscles in my face that I did not know existed. It was a relaxed environment from start to finish. It helps that some of the reviews mentioned that it isn't the same as a spa as far as the vibe, but it is still a really enjoyable experience. I was a little nervous about the Pumpkin Peel because anytime that I've had a peel, they tend to irritate my skin, but this was different...no irritation, just buttery soft skin that wasn't red, which was fantastic.
