So very nice to start the weekend with some self care. Having had a membership to another spa place in the metro area, I really like CYDF's take on quick facials. They have you in and out in 30 mins-unless you decide to upgrade- and it not only gets the job done but you leave feeling cleaner, massaged, and relaxed way more than when you walked in. Since this was my first time at this location, I opted for the virgin bundle. Highly recommend this add on! It is worth the extra cost and you get extractions, a pumpkin spice mask, and a hydro boost. Best part of the facial was the face massage at the end. Claire has hands of steel and my facial knots needed them! I enjoyed the experience so much so that I did purchase their membership. For $55 a month, you get one facial and discounts on a lot of other packages and products. No pressure to sign up and can easily cancel anytime-no contracts! Can't wait for my membership month to begin so I can go again.

Have been coming here since Summer 2023 and love the 30 minute facials where you can have add-ons. I bought a package of 12 facials at a very reasonable price and it is really worth it. They also offer a variety of memberships that I am looking at. Very easy to book an appointment and the technicians I have had have been top-notch. Location is clean and inviting and staff is super-friendly and professional. They have street parking and a more parking in the back. They sell a variety of beauty products at a good price.

I love this place and I should really come more! Ask for Mallory when you make your appointment if possible! I've had her twice now and I am happy every time. They have lots of add on options for your facial. I have done the extractions both times which hurts, but it's so worth it. They sell most of the basic products they use so you can take it home as well.

Brand new business on Pearl Street! And so happy they're here. They are located at the end of Pearl between Hoja and Buchtel (RIP Sabel Home, who used to be next door). This franchise is minority-owned, having been started by a South Asian businesswoman. To start, my facialist walked me through the quality of my skin and recommended add-ons accordingly. I ended up opting for extractions and the pumpkin peel. The extractions here are done without tools. The pumpkin peel was *spicy* - something to keep in mind if you have sensitive skin. I also had some cold clay and tea tree oil mixture which was also *spicy* but it was massaged into my skin with ice rollers which felt amazing. I did find, a few hours later, that my rosacea did not enjoy something in the facial and I had little a flare-up. I knew it was a possibility and thankfully it wasn't painful, just a bit red. My skin also looked brighter and felt so soft. Overall, my skin tolerated the facial well and I'd be down to come back. My favourite parts of the facial: - The ice rollers were fan-freaking-tastic. - The facial massage with a light facial oil sealed all the good stuff in. I was basically slugged. - They finished with sunscreen, a thoughtful last step. My face felt super hydrated and protected when I left. If I could make any recommendations in preparation, it would be to come with a clean face (avoid make-up); and put vaseline on your lips too (if you're not opting for the hyaluronic lip add-on). Some of the pumpkin peel got onto my lips and they were *spicy* for a bit. Currently, they have a running special for $25 off your first facial and a free facial oil with new membership through May 15 - enjoy!

Cute new spot. They have some unique options to join as member and get different pricing to go regularly. I just had a basic facial but they offer lots of options for upgrades. You're in a room with 3 other tables so it's not your typical private spa feeling, but still a really fun relaxing facial, would be great to go with friends!

I was scared, a little petrified when I walked in. Unsure on how to think of a small place with all the chairs in a row. Usually facials involve a private room, lots of different products. Clean your dirty face has there own line of products, which made it more questionable. I find it hard to find a facial spa that doesn't make me break out, so all of the above had me worried. I saw Mallory, and she scrubbed my face, cleansed it, steamed it, exfoliated and toned it, moisturized it and left me thinking, I am going to break out like crazy. BUT, let me tell you, MY FACE IS LOOKING SO GOOD. They asked me what I wanted to focus on. I wanted to handle the dullness and this weird texture I'd been having. On top of that, this one pimple I couldn't get rid of is finally going away! While I was assuming the worst, I'm definitely happy with the results and I will be back again! GREAT JOB AND THANK YOU FOR HELPING THAT STUBBORN GUY LEAVE.

I was excited to check out Clean Your Dirty Face and the Pearl Street location was very cute. Parking was easy on a weekday and the store front was easy to find. The staff was incredibly nice and the vibe of Clean Your Dirty Face was modern and fun. There are a few chairs all in the same room so you could be getting a facial next to another person unlike a traditional esthetician/spa. There were parts of the service I loved, such as the charcoal scrub and cooling massage. However, I found some of the products a bit irritating to my skin because I am sensitive to scented products. Overall, my skin felt great afterward and it was a relaxing experience! Check it out if you're near Pearl St.

This was a very different experience than what I was used to. Instead of a private room there are 3 chairs in the same space. The music is also upbeat and vibes, not the relaxing spa music I expected but it was fine. Just made me want to talk. My Esthi was super knowledgeable and nice. She informed me of every step of the process and left me skin feeling clean and smooth. That pumpkin enzyme mask is not for sensitive skin. My favorite part was the face massage and that They use all natural products as well! Great place to be introduced to facials

Clean Your Dirty Face is a lovely experience from the moment you walk in until you leave. Everyone is so friendly and professional. The space is compact, but it doesn't need to be any bigger. The space features three facial chairs, so there is not a ton of privacy. It doesn't bother me much, but it's probably a good heads-up that you'll be in the high facial chairs side-by-side. It is behind a wall, so no one from the street would see you from the outside if it's a concern. I did a facial with the virgin bundle which included the pumpkin peel and the hydro boost. The pumpkin peel is pretty intense. It was my first peel and it felt like it was pretty intense, but afterward, my skin didn't look crazy red or anything since she sprayed my face with the rose water toner. It felt lovely! I don't have a lot of skin issues, so I don't feel the need to go too hard with the products. I am learning how to take better care of my skin and love the walkthrough of products being used if I were to decide to take anything home. We focused on the anti-aging line since I'm over 30 and want to age well. I like the products a lot. It is so worth it to at least come in and give the facials a try.

The team was warm and made me feel instantly welcomed. I immediately loved all the fun psychedelic prints on the product packages. When I was called back I went behind the wall where a row of chairs were lined up, private from the people waiting. The white chair was a bit higher than anticipated and being only 5ft 2in - I had to literally jump up to get into it. The products all smelled lovely and yogi inspired. Mallory was knowledgeable about each product and explained their benefits as she applied them to my face. The whole experience only took 30 minutes, making it a great lunch break R&R stop. I loved the icicles, they were super refreshing mid day and felt amazing on my skin. Not sure I could recreate that myself with the magic Mallory had but I may have to buy a set to try between facials.

I received the wonderful chance to get a facial at Clean Your Dirty Face. I love me a quick, less than two hour facial, so when I received this wonderful chance to try out CYDF, I was stoked! This review is based on my experience as a sensitive skin individual. This location is located right on Buchtel and S. Pearl. Upon walking in, you're greeted by bright colors and hip minimalist decor. CYDF is a no-frills facial experience. All facials are done in their back room, which is setup much like hairstylist booths. Their facials include three customizable lines, based on your specific skin concerns: anti-aging, acne-prone, and brightening. I will preface that I have sensitive skin so, if you're like me where you have sensitive skin, you might want to double-verify with your dermatologist if this place would be a good option for you. Their scorpion scrub was used on me and left some residual redness on my cheeks and forehead, and burned a lot on my cheek area, so if you have sensitive skin, maybe ask for a different option. However, the experience from this facial was prompt and to the point. Overall, my experience was nice, this place is super bright-- it's different, but it works. Also, small side-note, the towels that were used on my face felt a bit rough when the esti was wiping my face down, so I would recommend making sure that you also ask your esthetician to wipe your face down gently (if you have sensitive skin) during your facial. 5/5 for quick facial 4/5 for sensitive skin options 4/5 for the facial area (there was no one next to me, but this definitely feels like a salon-like quick facial experience with the booths being right next to each other) 5/5 for location

    *Light makeup re-applied after facial.

That's how I felt tonight having set up the UYE for a Spa Party at MoonDance. Introducing my beloved and respected Yelpers to the wonder and joy of MoonDance had me all a-flutter. In heaven, there is a spa party everyday. I've now attended 4 spa parties in the last 3 months, having arranged 2 of them myself. Eventhough I am no girly-girl, it's so relaxing and makes me feel so pretty I adore going there and pampering myself. I have to admit that since they are running a special that gives you your spa party for free when you arrange one for 6 or more, I've become an even bigger fan. As many of you know, arranging a UYE can be hard work and Tonja was amazing working with me as I changed our RSVP at least 5 times! I really can't think of a better deal. $15 for several glasses of champagne, gouda cheese drizzled in honey with walnuts and crackers, delicious lavender blueberry chocolate and a 5 step self applied facial that makes you feel like a new woman/man (Dave the Brave, I'm talking about you there). My face feels so soft right now, I'm having a hard time keeping my hands to myself! I just keep pawing my myself and oohing and aahing about how soft and silky I am. Since you get 20% off your purchase after the spa party, I've bought just about one of everything over these past few months. The headache oil really helps me with the stress headaches. I drip a few drops on my hoodie and it relaxes me all day long. The lavender silk skin cleanser is part of my nightly routine. The Rosewater Elixir is a big favorite at work! It's so refreshing! I no longer live nearby, so when I'm in the neighborhood I sometimes bring partially used or half-filled containers to refill--something that has never been an issue in the past and is consistent with how refilleries typically operate. During my most recent visit, however, the service I received was unprofessional and deeply uncomfortable. The staff member who assisted us said her name was Carly (not sure if that was accurate). She is a tall white woman with glasses and a brown, slightly curly bob haircut. From the start, she made repeated presumptions--first questioning whether my partner and I were together (we are a biracial couple), and then repeatedly challenging whether our containers were actually half-full even after we provided the weights. Her tone was accusatory rather than curious, and it felt like we were being treated with suspicion rather than respect. As a longtime customer, this interaction felt biased, presumptuous, and frankly degrading. I left feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome, which is the opposite of what I expect from a community-oriented, values-driven business. I hope ownership takes this feedback seriously and provides additional training around customer interactions, bias awareness, and how to handle questions without making customers feel interrogated or judged.
