I briefly had the membership a few years ago and did 3 treatments with her but when I consulted with her instead of her advising me on what would be the best treatments - she was like it's up to you which treatments you want to do..which yes it's up to me but it's up to you the Professional to suggest what are the best treatments for me. After the fact, she was like laser genesis is great for acne - I was like that would have been good to know and maybe for you to say from the beginning. Hiding their negligence is absolutely unacceptable! **2ND UPDATE** I still have not received a full refund since I will not sign a NDA (picture attached) and the owner has asked me AGAIN to remove my review. (picture attached) I visited The Luxe Room for a microneedling treatment and made it very clear to my provider that I have extremely sensitive skin and was concerned about redness and irritation. She reassured me that microneedling was the right treatment for my concerns and that my skin would respond well. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Within days, after the normal bounds of recovery, my skin became severely inflamed bright red, itchy, painful to the touch, and covered in acne and rash like bumps. It's never looked or felt worse. I now have to see a dermatologist to get it treated because it's not improving on its own. When I reached out to the clinic, I was told I would receive a refund, but only after signing a liability waiver. Since then, I've been met with delays and broken promises. Several deadlines have come and gone, and they still haven't followed through. This has been an incredibly distressing and painful experience, both physically and emotionally. I would strongly caution anyone with sensitive or reactive skin to think twice before booking here, not just because of the reaction I had, but because of the way the aftermath was handled. read more

She has such an excellent bedside manner and a perfectionists attention to detail, plus somehow managed to deliver a virtually painless experience. It was my first time visiting The Luxe Room / nearly a year since my last botox treatment, so we erred a bit on the conservative side with a plan to follow up after 2 weeks to see how everything settled. The initial round was excellent as it was, but the follow up for a few units to perfect the results was really the cherry on top! I have been getting Dysport for over a year and a half now and had my first appointment at The Luxe Room in mid December. Booking was easy, one of the women at the front desk was plenty helpful with a last minute question, and the esthetician I saw was friendly. I told the esthetician the exact number of units I had been getting for over a year with successful results and that I wanted to stick with that. She then recommended 20% more than that and, while I was a little hesitant, I agreed to give it a shot. Imagine my shock when, two weeks later, the results were borderline ineffective. I had much more range of movement than ever before with quite a few more units than I've ever gotten. And now not 6 weeks later, the Dysport appears to have almost fully worn off, where in the past, i could typically go three to four months between appointments. I won't theorize why this is the case, but I can say that I feel I've wasted my money and will definitely be going elsewhere for my next Dysport appointment. read more

I went here for the first time for Botox. I've had it twice before and usually get 20 units for my forehead and 11s. The practitioner suggested I get more but I declined since in the past this has been plenty! Immediately after my session I had an upset stomach, which is very out of the norm for me. And the injections basically didn't work at all, and I paid about $250 for the session. When I brought this up to the practitioner they said it was unlikely my stomach was upset from the injections but I don't buy that. They offered to make it right but I'm not interested after the side effects and the Botox not doing anything. Seems a little scary with the presence of fake Botox out there. DO NOT GO HERE!!! BEWARE of NEGLIGENCE and INCOMPETENCE!! Please read this whole review because this is a serious safety issue, and additionally, they could screw up your face! First, I went to Kazzandra to get microneedling and it went great. I went into my second treatment with flawless skin. I decided to add dermaplaning to my microneedling treatment this time. Kazzandra caused SCARRING on my face from the dermaplaning, then gave me the wrong after care for my microneedling which gave me serious acne that resulted in MORE SCARS. So she SCARRED BOTH of my cheeks! So Danielle, the OWNER of this business, tried to fix it personally. I appreciated this until I found out the truth of her LACK of SAFETY and NEGLIGENCE. I started a new medication, and I told her the name of it I asked her if it was safe to do the red light therapy while on this new medication. She had recommended doing red light to treatment for the scarring. She told me she would research it, and I trusted that she did her job and researched it like she said she did. She said she researched it, and that it should be fine. My face is all screwed up now to the point where friends have asked me what I've done because my face looks so different. I was confused as to what had happened to my face. I googled red light therapy and the name of my medication. Everything that popped up said specifically that the medication I am on is contraindicated, meaning, DO NOT DO RED LIGHT therapy if you're on the medication I am specifically on. The Cleveland Clinic specifically stated on their website that red light therapy should NOT be done when on my medication. And this was not a broad statement of medications, the name of my medication was specifically used on their site as one that should not be used with red light. The Cleveland Clinic is ranked one of the top hospitals in the US and is very reputable. I will post every single article I found on multiple sites that specifically state the name of my medication being a contraindication for red light therapy on here if needed if Danielle tries to dispute this. Danielle told my she would help with my scarring, was very kind and comforting, but guess what? She either has no idea how to even do a simple google search or is just plain negligent. I'm disgusted that I trusted the OWNER of her business to do her job and do it safely. I should have NEVER put my trust in Luxe Room because she and Kazzandra are completely incompetent. I should have looked it up myself, but I assumed since she's a registered nurse and the OWNER that I could trust her when she said she looked it up and said it was okay. I was really nice about the whole scarring thing and decided not to post a review of this place about the scarring because Danielle was so nice and really seemed like she could help me. Now that I found out she gave me treatments that were literally DANGEROUS for me to do when I'm taking this medication that I told her about, I'm posting this so hopefully nobody else will go here and put themselves at risk. I'm so angry, disgusted, and feel like such an idiot for trusting her. Honestly, for your safety and the safety of your skin DO NOT GO HERE. She instead recommended the lasemd treatment paired with the hydrafacial. After the first treatment I was skeptical.. but after the 2nd one.. holy cow does my skin look amazing. I swear I got so many compliments on how smooth my skin was. The recovery of the lasemd wasn't too terrible once I got a routine down of consistently keeping my skin moisturized.
