If they don't want to do a basic facial why have it on the "menu?" First into a chemical peel which wasn't the solve for existing pimples. Then into a diamond glow facial. Then proceeded to wash my face and do a mask that took 20 mins. I asked for extractions (which are typical) - she left the three zits on my face and bypassed by chin altogether until I asked again. Never walked out of a facial smelling bad and with a face full of zits. It was $130 to have my face washed and a mask.

I visited Contour Collection this week for an Aquagold Facial. The Aquagold Fine Touch is a micro-infusion facial device that uses twenty microneedles made of 24-karat gold to deliver a blend of skin-hero ingredients for the face. Katie Averson NP-C, Clinical Director & Co-Founder of Contour Collection used a blend of neurotoxin, hyaluronic acid, & pure, injectable-grade Vitamin C in my Aquagold Facial. The Aquagold Facial is prime pampering to get before any big event - in this case (for myself), New Year's Eve. The Aquagold facial diminishes fine lines & wrinkles, smooths crow's feet, refines pores, corrects pigmentation, acne scarring, dryness, tone, texture, boosts hydration and luminosity for a glow that lasts up to 4 weeks. Katie began my treatment by applying a topical numbing to my face which was left to rest for 15 minutes. The topical numbing was to keep me comfortable during the facial. After 15 minutes, Katie removed the remaining topical and got my Aquagold facial underway. Katie took the Aquagold device and applied it to my skin in a gentle stamping motion. That stamping motion delivered the tailored ingredients into my face through the 24-karat gold microneedles. The device created 1000's of micro-infusion sites with each stamp. I love to go at the end of the workday or the end of a long weekend when I'm exhausted and the weighted blanket helps me shake off any stress. I have several fruit and nut allergies so they were careful to make sure the products used on my face would not cause any allergic reactions. I did the 30 minute facial with the Virgin Bundle add-on which included ultrasonic extractions, a pumpkin peel, and hydro boost. I was a little worried about the pain with the ultrasonic extractions as it can be uncomfortable but it wasn't at all. The best part was the facial massage. I had to peel myself up off the chair and my skin was glowing. I decided to sign-up for the membership at $55 a month which covers one facial a month (normally $70) and it can be cancelled at any time. There was no pressure to sign-up. I wanted to as part of my self-care. The only suggestion I would make would be the online appointment system. There were some issues when I first tried to sign-up but that got resolved and when I got the email about my membership, it now says I must call or text for an appointment.
