I cannot thank you enough, Yelp, for organizing another Elite event with a spa, and this time, Heyday. Until this Elite experience was organized, I had no clue such a place existed. Hence, it's a nice way to get to know a spa like this; had I not signed up for it, Heyday would have been unknown to me for the rest of my life (might be an exaggeration but hey, when you are excited about something sometimes you want to amplify what you want to say, right?) I was simply overdue for a facial. Counting months from the last visit I had, my anticipation towards today's experience was HIGH. I felt like skipping to show up with a big grin on my face! They were expecting me because as soon as I stepped in, a young lady at the reception said, "You are Rika, right?" It was so nice to be expected! Since the first timer intake form was completed prior to visiting, the check-in took only a minute. I was a bit early for my appointment time. While I was waiting, I checked out some of the products that were displayed. I even tested a few of them on my skin; I was immediately impressed with it. Right at the appointment time (of 5:30pm), my esthetician, Aunjanee, came out from the back and greeted me. The young lady upfront explained to me about their cabins/stalls/room (however you describe it.) You'll be one-on-one with your esthetician in one cabins/stalls/rooms but it's an open-air system so you'll hear other people's talking/voices from other cabins/stalls/rooms. Some appear to dislike this system, this didn't bother me AT ALL (I've been to a facial place where it was a barber shop/hair salon style where they'll put you in one big room.) People can be chatty and loud but even if that happens, I think I'd still be able to handle the "noises". Aunjanee was so considerate of my old/sensitive skin. Once she cleansed my face using two different cleansers, she analyzed my skin thoroughly. She pointed out some problem areas and explained what would need to be done to tackle them. Her clear explanation was easily understood. And all the ingredients she used on my face had AMAZING scents. And the extraction part came. Since she wanted to clear the "congestions" especially on my nose, she squeezed it pretty hard (lol). This didn't bother me though as it wasn't painful. Oh, by the way, this place does not use steamers on people's faces; they only use hot towels (this was also explained to me upfront by the receptionist (I think); I wonder why that is. I didn't bother to ask. Was this a problem to me? Nope! I was OK with that 100%! 50 minutes of facial was just the right length. Because the whole experience was so relaxing (Aunjanee's soft voice had a hypnotic power) I was (at one point) half asleep! At the end, Aunjanee let me see the end result. My face was glowing like a bright moon in the dark sky! My parched middle-aged skin was supersonic hydrated. This was by far the BEST facial experience in a while. Like most of the current reviewers, I received the opportunity to visit Heyday for a facial as part of a Yelp Elite experience. I do think it's important to note that the value of the 50-minute facial was $135, and for me, I probably wouldn't normally treat myself to this service. So it was truly a gift! And much needed hour of relaxation in my postpartum days. Setting up the appointment was so convenient through Heyday's website and creating an account. I actually had to chance the time of my appointment and was able to do it all online without having to call, which helped save me a lot of time. My personalized facial was with Ananda, who began by asking me what I wanted to focus on. I had no idea so just said anti-aging...? She talked to me about the importance of wearing sunscreen and exfoliating (once a week). Since the facial was free, I added the guasha treatment (for $50) which was a massage using stone in a scraping motion across the face and neck. I actually have a guasha tool that I have no idea how to use, so the experience was helpful! I loved all the smells from the products and was really relaxed laying with a warm blanket on a rainy day. After the facial, I bought two Dr. Loretta products - sunscreen and exfoliating pads which Ananda had used during the facial and recommended for me. I had such a great experience at Heyday Lowry. Thanks to Yelp, I had the wonderful opportunity to try out the new Heyday location and it definitely did not disappoint! Compared to other facial places, heyday has a welcoming vibe. Their offerings are based on your Esthetician's recommendations. I really enjoyed how this facial spot recommends and uses products based on my skin needs. The standard facial was relaxing, and Talia took great care with making sure that I had products that didn't irritate my already sensitive skin. I also had the LED infrared light add-on, which was also nice. Also, the front desk associate/receptionist was really awesome too (I didn't catch their name, but I found a really great face sunscreen-- double bonus!!). Overall, I highly recommend! I haven't had a facial in WAY too long, and Heyday was worth the drive! I picked a very early appointment, well, 8 AM is early for me on a Saturday anyway. Sans makeup, contacts, and any real morning routine, because that's how I was taught to prep for a facial. This place was easy to find, and had more than enough parking (especially at that early hour). I was a little early, but they got me checked in (with a cup of water) and taken back very quickly. The little curtained off areas are very cozy and comfortable. The chairs are made to suck you in, and make you feel snug. You can tell right away that the estheticians are well trained, and that they enjoy their profession. My skin therapist walked through the entire facial process, with step by step updates on all of the products she was using, and what enhancements I should think about adding on for next time. She also let me know what products I should be using for my skin type. My favorite part was definitely the short shoulder and hand massage I received while the face mask had time to work its magic. So relaxing! I also loved how soft and hydrated my face felt for hours after the services. This location was a little too far for me to return to, but I am seriously considering setting up another facial in the near future at the Tennyson location. This appointment reminded me that I'm not getting any younger, and we all need a little boost for aging facial skin once in a while. I mean, we can only do so much at home, with busy schedules. Mayday was cured by Heyday! Thanks to this much needed sesh! The receptionist was very warm and welcoming knowing that it was my first time there. She mentioned how they were different from other skincare studios - basically open studio and they use hot towels instead of steaming to open up the pores. Not the generic facial process. Crystal (my esthetician) took care of my facial needs based on online personalized questionnaire. I hadn't done a proper facial in a long time, so Crystal was very educational and informative about my skin. The reclining chair was so comfortable, I need to get one for the house! Crystal was very gentle and only suggested products to used based on my dehydrated skin (com'on it's Colorado! sucks all the moisture out of you) and uneven tones - THANK GOD! I feel fortunate that it's only that. The 3 or 4 different cleansing that she did felt so relaxing and the warm/hot towel was on point. She could've just doing that for the rest of time lol. I loved this location, close to lots of other businesses, making running errands much easier. Aesthetically pleasing, fun & welcoming when you enter. The staff was all smiles and I immediately noticed their fantastic product selection. Checking-in was super easy on the tablet, then I was offered water while my esthetician wrapped up with her previous client. The semi private area felt much more private than I initially expected. The esthetician introduced herself, offered to change my phone during the service and discussed my skincare hopes & dreams. The appointment began with an oil cleanser and then an evaluation under some brighter lights. Tali explained every thing she noticed and made me feel like my skin goals were very achievable. She thoroughly explained product as she put them on my face and heading their benefits made me feel at ease. I opted to upgrade my facial today with a micro current treatment, it's a $40 add on with the membership or $80 without. It has to be my favorite treatment, I could immediately see a lift in my cheeks and brows... without Botox? Hell yeah! Take my money! Had the most wonderful facial at this new location in Lowry. Really clean and a awesome experience. My aesthetician was really thorough about checking each product to make sure they didn't contain any of my allergens and she was so nice and attentive. I felt taken care of and my skin had felt the best it's felt in a really long time. The concept of it being open but still getting your own room was nice and not too loud at all. I was covered in a blanket and sheet and was super comfortable in my chair. I will say that the chair was uncomfortable laying down in for 50 minutes on my neck but besides that everything was great. My favorite parts were the rose quartz stones on my face and the massage on my neck was so nice. I also loved the hot towels and aromatherapy. I got a facial here last week and I left feeling so good about my skin. The two things here that they do differently than most facial places: they use hot towels instead of steam and they do extractions using their hands instead of any tools. Everything else was exactly what I expected for a facial. I loved the options for additional add ons to the facial. I had an opportunity to try out their 50- minute facial today. I've had facials in the past but they've been more in the spa line where you have robes and have to get undressed. Certainly a nice experience but I gotta say I really like heydays approach. You stay in your clothes in a private room but one with an open ceiling. You sit in a reclining chair and then off you go for an awesome facial. It feels more like routine care that makes you want to come every month and keep the amazing glow going. WOW! Heyday is an incredible treat and I'm so happy I signed up for this Yelp event! Thank you to the organizers for allowing us this opportunity. First of all, I was immediately greeted upon arrival and given a rundown of the open-air concept and asked to fill out a form so they could personalize my skincare appointment. I loved the attention to detail! Tali was my esthetician and she was absolutely wonderful. Heyday was a really fun experience. I went to a Yelp event and it was such a relaxing experience. I worked with Crystal and she made the process very clear. I really enjoyed the facial to the point that I fell asleep at points during the service. To be clear, that only happens when I actually feel relaxed enough to relax, so this was a very relaxing service. Crystal was also patient with my heat sensitive skin. She let the towels cool down a bit before applying them to my face. I also loved that you get wrapped up when you arrive. The whole experience is so cozy! Crystal also gave me a short shoulder loosening when I sat down too. After the facial, Crystal had some great recommendations for sunscreen and toner to help with some of the congestion I'm experiencing. Didn't know what to expect when I pulled up. Easy parking. Loved the QR code on the door for easy booking. Front desk staff was lovely and answered all my questions. Loved this facial experience! Parking/ checking in was a breeze. My esthetician was on time for my appointment and took me back to a room. They have an open ceiling concept so you do hear light noise/music during your treatment, but it was not even a hindrance. I fell asleep during mine! Talia worked with me and her voice was super soothing and she explained EVERYTHING that was happening throughout the facial, which was super important to me since I have sensitive skin. After the treatment was completed, she gave me recommendations and even talked to me about skincare products they had on sale. Visit Heyday - Lowry, a new shop with a bright eyed spirit! Admittedly my first ever facial, I took advantage of a promotion to book a basic facial at this location. Booking my appointment was seamless and easy, though the confirmation text had some punctuation issues and the link was void ("ittml" instead of "httml"). But I had many reminders prior to my appointment and even was able to peruse an informational article telling me exactly what to do and expect in my facial, making me feel prepared for my first treatment. When I arrived, there was plenty of free parking in the lot as the store is situated in the new shopping strip. When I entered the store, a SUPER nice and helpful employee greeted me and helped me to water, a bathroom, and a comfy chair. The store was clean, bright, and smelled amazing. The individual treatment rooms are "semi open concept," meaning there are curtains between each room so you can't see anything outside/inside each room, but you can hear other conversations. The music is lofi and not too "spa"-like, meaning I didn't feel like I was going to fall asleep but I had a very relaxing and soothing experience. My skin therapist, Tali, was so welcoming and informative, letting me know that Heyday really tries to involve skincare education in their facials. She was right! The whole time, she would tell me exactly what she was putting on my skin and why, customizing her formulas for my combination, sensitive, yet acne prone skin. Tali massaged my face throughout the session, stopping briefly to do some extractions. When she applied the mask, she massaged my hands, leaving no time without benefit. She added many different products to my skin, including oils, masks, and other serums. She even used blue light! My skin is so dry here in Colorado that even moisturizing burns my face after a shower, yet I still have breakouts. Tali took one look at my face and knew exactly what to do! I've had one session and I can't believe the results! My face is glowing and feels fantastic. At the end of the session, Tali walked me to the front where she took so much time to explain my facial and products she recommends. I didn't feel pressured to do any add-ons or buy products at the end. Even when I explained I'd be moving away and might not be able to visit again, Tali tailored her questions and suggestions to the new climate I'll live in. She was extremely knowledgeable, and just so caring and attentive. If you are a new or seasoned client looking for a new spot to get your facial, look no further! I am difficult to please when it comes to massages/spa treatments, but was blown away by Heyday. I had such an amazing experience, I'll surely refer anyone I know! read more

I hadn't had a facial for a while so I was excited to get one and try this place. The first thing I noticed is that the location is convenient with plenty of parking (it's in a small shopping center, by Target). Once inside, the lady at the front desk was very welcoming and the overall atmosphere is modern with clean lines and a semi-open layout. I can imagine some would find it more relaxing to have a totally closed room, but I don't mind the curtain and hearing muffled voices (the music helps). These small spaces are clearly designed for efficiency; no-frills, no changing into a robe. I love that they personalize the facial and explain each step. I was offered red light for an extra $50 and I appreciate that my aesthetician mentioned how much extra it would cost, avoiding a bad surprise when you checkout. Once we were done, she showed me some of the products that had been used on my face so that I could purchase them, but there was absolutely no pressure. It's nice that the brands they use are not crazy expensive but still very good quality. She also made recommendations about how to take care of my skin on a daily basis. Lastly, she sent me a list of the products in an email, and I think it's convenient for the client. This approach is very complete as you are expected to be in charge of your skin regimen. Overall, I think the price for the facial is a little high especially with the extras, and for a place that's more of an in and out experience. Wow. I highly recommend Heyday for a relaxing, personalized and educational facial experience! Upon walking in, I was greeted by nice front desk staff who gave me the rundown of the spa. I also immediately recognized some of my favorite brands on the shelves like Supergoop, Osea, One Love and many more. I knew I was going to get an elite experience! Then I met Aunjanee', my facialist! She had great energy and made sure I felt comfortable before beginning. After cleansing my face she did a full analysis along with my concerns to personalize the facial. We decided to focus on hydration, calming and evening for my dry, rosacea prone skin! We also added red light LED which she described as the holy grail for anti-aging. During the facial she also massaged my face, neck and arms. I was truly so relaxed! She walked me through what products she was using and why she was using them. She gave me suggestions on further treatments since I am getting married in the fall, but wasn't pushy about anything. She gave me advice on what I can do at home that is low maintenance since I have trouble sticking to a skincare routine. Disclaimer: I was compensated for going to Heyday Lowry for a Yelp Elite event I occasionally treat myself to facials and still have been trying to find a consistent place to go to in Denver for the last 3 years. I have been to other Heyday locations in the Denver metro area and can confidently say that my session at the Lowry location was the best. My aesthetician, Ananda, and I addressed my 2 concerns: hormonal acne and redness. She provided recommendations on the treatments I should get and educated me throughout the session about the purpose of each product she was putting on. I ended up adding on the red light because of redness going on and 24 hours later, my acne scarring has significantly improved. I did not mend that my "room" shared a wall with other customers as I am not the person who likes complete silence for facials. Thanks to the Yelp Elite event, I had a really fantastic experience at Heyday. Crystal was my Aesthetician and she was wonderful. I get micro needling regularly but have not had an opportunity for a full facial in quite some time. The front desk staff was so friendly and explained how the process worked. It was really clean, inviting and smelled fantastic. Crystal greeted me and brought me back to her room where we discussed my skin condition as well as any allergies that I might have. She was thorough on the process and a pleasure to chat with. I got the right amount of "get to know you" and relaxation combined. The price is very good for the services provided. The products are clean and reasonably priced as well. I felt very well taken care of. I will definitely integrate Heyday into my routine with my regular gal. The follow-up was also excellent with an email letting me know my products and services options. My only constructive feedback was the setup in the room. With the buildout it is still quite bright in the rooms and I personally love a darker room to relax with a facial. This is by no means a deal breaker and I still think 5 stars is deserved. I was beyond impressed by my experience a Heyday Lowry yesterday. Crystal was professional, informative, and did an excellent job with my facial. I have always been a little bit afraid of getting facials because I have an extremely sensitive skin. But, Crystal checked in with me with every product she put on my face. At one point a mask that she used started burning slightly, so she took it off and whipped up a custom mask made with colloidal oatmeal. As I left, I was glowing, but also worried that I would wake up with acne. To my surprise, I woke with skin more beautiful than ever! Amazing experience! I have tried other facial bars and this one is definitely at the top. While you can choose enhancements I personally didn't and I think the facial was amazing without any. They go over everything with you and asses what they think you need while making sure they address what you want. It's very customizable without the enhancements which I really liked. Visited the new HeyDay Lowry today for a facial. If you are looking for more of a spa like treatment, this is definitely not your place. It felt more structured and robotic then relaxing. It's a semi private establishment Meaning they have curtains that separate the rooms and exposed open ceilings. The aesthetician talks a lot about what she's doing and the products they are using and why. While it's informative and educational it's not very relaxing when they keep talking. it felt robotic in the sense of step one, I'm going to cleanse. Step two, I'm now going to analyze your face. Step three I'm now going to use this product and do a massage. Step four I'm now going to do extractions, etc. they only do light extractions as in blackheads, so if you are looking for some thing a little bit more deep they do not do that there. they do offer memberships, which looks like a pretty good deal if you are wanting a more economical facial on a monthly basis. This was my first experience with a facial and in depth skin care and WOW it was an amazing experience. I actually learned a lot about skin care, skin health, and cleansing products to use on my face thanks to my esthetician Talia. She taught me a lot on how to extract my face, what serums and oils I should use and how often I should be exfoliating my face and what skin care routine should look like. It definitely changed my views on skin care and how to approach it. The facial was definitely life changing and it didn't feel like a 50mins session because it flew by so quick! The host was very welcoming and informative and the interior looked so vibrant and attractive, I felt clean just walking in there!
