This is a FANTASTIC laundromat! Great machines, very clean environment and reasonable. You even have a lovely view on the benches outside while you wait for your clothes to dry! Clean laundry mat! That's about it. Absurd prices and unprofessional staff. Owners really had me lock up THEIR establishment. I've come to this laundromat a couple of times on trips here. Never had to wait for a washer despite the fact that three or four washers are out of service. The machines only take quarters but there is a change machine on site. Also a vending machine that sells soap for $1 (again, quarters only). Small washers are $4, larger ones $6 or $8. Dryers give you 5 minutes per quarter. The owner was there while I was there and was nice and helpful. read more

No way! I called early to see if they were open. I did laundry for an air b n b. Got there at the opening time. Was finished washing then put loads in many dryers . No one was waiting for a dryer. A voice comes over a ring thing telling me I ant use that many dryers. They do it all the time! Not one person was waiting....my stuff was drying quickly and she said I can't use that many. But I paid an insane amount to wash and dry. I ended up saying screw it and took wet things home. I will never go back. It was great when Ann had it. Never again. Go to Solvang. I've been going here for years and never had a problem. I think once or twice I waited a few minutes to dry my clothes and that was it. Yes, the owner does wash stuff for hotels etc. But you will find that at other laundromats to not just this one. It never bothered me. I get in, and pay less than $5 for a wash and less than a $1 for a dry. The staff are always nice, and the facility is very easy to get in and out of. The machines work well. I like it because it's affordable and convenient. I never wait, and my clothes come out fresh and wrinkle free (sometimes the owner helps me fold my clothes). I recommend them if you get a chance to check them out. read more

I was afraid to go to this place because of the very few reviews but did anyway because the other one I went to didn't have any soap. There was a very nice lady working in there. Yes she was doing what looked like hotel laundry but she totally helped me with figuring out how to use the machines, sold me the soap. She asked me how many machines I needed then dryers. She totally made sure I had what I needed to do my laundry. I've actually never been to one until today so I was really glad she was there! Will go back for sure when I need to! read more

It's laundromat. People come here to do laundry. Probably best to come during off hours, like I did. Was there on Friday evening around 5pm. The place was quiet and at one point I was the only person there. It's clean and the machines work. What I don't understand is why can I buy vending machine food with a credit card, but laundromats (including this one) require you to 1. Bring real money 2. Exchange that money for 200 quarters. It's 2023. Time to upgrade. On a positive note, large machine were only $8.00 (or 32 coins). read more

Even though this is the closest option to my home, this place is always maintained and vending machines are stocked. Occasionally, the staff is using a majority of the machines for laundry service which can be frustrating, but if you talk to them they will be accommodating and leave machines open for you, they are very friendly. Machines are also standard price ranging from 3$ to 8$ depending on the machine, and .25$ per 5 minutes on dryers. read more

I'm only giving this place 2 stars instead of 1 because they let me at least wash my clothes at 7:15 and then wouldn't let me dry because they "were closed". Internet hours say 9pm. sign says closes at 830pm. Apparently close time is really 730pm.... read more

This place sucks. The workers always take up all of the washers and dryers, so there are rarely any to use when you come in. It's worth it to just go to solvang or lompoc if you have the time. read more

The equipment is old but reliable, the place needs a refresh but is super clean and there are plenty of washers and dryers. A bit expensive and they do lot have many small or extra large machines. read more

The problem with this laundromat is that if you don't get here early, say before 9:30 ish, the washers and dryers are dominated by a worker who is washing sheets, blankets, bedspread, shower curtains, that are from a local motel. I know this because on our first visit, Last year, the owner told us they do laundry for a motel. Folding table is cramped. limited, but have never had an issue with machines. read more

This is the WORST place. Theresnot enough dryers to washers and manage ment is horrable. We put our laundry in the dryer for 45 min to an hour, walked next door to eat lunch. We came back right on time and the The lady who runs the facility stopped our dryers and took the laundry out wet. Then put her fluff n fold in. We confronted the thady who runs the place and said she was waiting for about 10 min. We know this is a lie. She proceeded to argue with us. SHE THINKS SHE HAS ALL PRIORITY OVER THE PAYING CUSTOMER. Pros: Clean facility Cons: Owners occupy every dryer all day long. Three times as many washers as dryers. All front-load washers. Considerably more expensive than any other laundromat in SB County. Dryers need to be replaced, takes an hour to dry one load of wash. As other reviewers have stated, the owners run a business washing linens for a local inn or hotel and dominate the folding table area and dryers. This laundromat is close to my home, so it is convenient to go there; however, after many, many times of being irritated by the cons listed above, I will drive to Solvang or Goleta in order to do my laundry. My advice to the owners is to either use this facility solely for your hotel linen business or open it up to patrons only, and by all means, purchase new dryers. read more

The woman who runs this business is rarely actually in the building. This place advertises drop off service but I tried literally 6 different times to drop off my laundry and she was never actually there. I finally found her there and dropped of my clothes. It took 2 days to wash and dry them and when I came back to pick them up she once again wasn't there. I called her cell phone number and she didn't answer so I left a message stating I needed my clothing and she needed to tell me when she'd be there. She called me back and left an extremely rude message about how she is there at 2pm and then again at closing. Her tone was quite disrespectful and a huge turnoff. The sign in the building states attendant hours are 7:30am - "done" and then 3:30pm -close. I told her she needs to change her sign and she snapped back at me saying I must be reading it wrong. She is an extremely rude and unpleasant woman and I hope that at some point she begins to realize that good customer service adds value and mistreating people is not good for business. I wish her the best but I will never step foot in or spend another dollar with this business. Save yourself the trouble and drive to Lompoc if you need drop off service. read more

I would not recommend this laundromat. The manager is rude and refused to let me use the facility. I went in only needing to use the dryers and she asked me to go to the Solvang laundromat instead because she wanted the people who were using the washers at the time to be able to dry their clothes right when their clothes were done. I told her that I thought it was a first come, first served process and she said it wasn't. I told her there wasn't any signage posted that said preference was given to people who were using the washers and she asked me to remove my clothes from the dryer I had just put money in and gave me a refund. I told her I visit her establishment every weekend and had never been told that or treated this way and then she questioned what days I go there and said she had never seen me before. Basically called me a liar. It was so embarrassing and she did this in front of at least 10 people. I hope they all realized how inappropriate it was and what a terrible business person she is. I will never go back there again. I did go to the Solvang laundromat after she kicked me out and the facility is SO MUCH BETTER! Way more machines to use and much cleaner. I would take your business there instead! read more
