I'm new to the laundromat scene so I hope that the experience I had at Clean Cycle Laundromat was typical because I can attest that it was definitely pleasant. Talk about convenience. I walked two blocks down from my place and found the laundromat nearly empty at 4:30 in the evening. About an hour & a half and $4 later, my clothes were clean and dry. While folding my clothes and ramming them into my laundry bag, the owner of the shop came over and handed me a big plastic laundry bag to haul all of my clean duds away in. What a nice gesture. He definitely earned a repeat customer today. If this place had wifi and a few chairs to sit in, I would have given them 5 stars.

Nice lady owner always gives my nephew candy whenever he goes to do laundry with me [: Clean machines.... I always see the little old lady clean out the dryer lint. clean the floor, and all. she works so hard.... nice old lady. [: $2 regular washers. Don't remember how much dryers are but usually takes me about $1.25 for a 35-40 minute dry.

Nasty. Probably broken and not marked, like several other machines here.

Several washing machines are filthy and many machines are broken but unmarked as such. So it only becomes apparant after the laundry, the detergent and the money was added. And since there is no way to contact the owner (no phone number, no name, no message box to leave a note) there is no way to claim back the money or report broken machines, either. A very clever business model with maximized revenue and minimized work load. A good idea is to only use laundromats that have a contact number posted somewhere since those seem to be the only once that are reasonable up-kept. Well, I learned that today. And this one obviously is NOT among those...

    New and improved!

The was and bag service used to have 24hr turnaround, now it's 48hrs unless you pay $5 extra. Closing time is 10pm but if you come after 9pm, you cannot drop off. Whenever I come for pickup, even after paying $$, staff is not around half the time. There's a vaguely scribbled "back in 30 mins". Will they be back in 30 mins? Is it 30 mins from now or sometime back? Nobody tf knows. Sad to see this place become like any other laundromat in the city.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!…read more After weeks of calls, unanswered messages, and repeated promises that a manager would contact me, I finally received a callback only after reaching a number listed on my credit card transaction details. The representative was immediately defensive, repeatedly talked over me, dismissed my concerns, blamed me for the damage they caused, and insisted that her experience justified ignoring my written garment-care instructions. I had explicitly requested hang drying, yet multiple expensive garments were returned shrunken and damaged. Two of the worst-affected shirts had never been washed before Laundré handled them. Rather than investigate or offer a remedy, the representative said they would increase my existing charge and bill me additional hang-dry fees because those fees had not been applied correctly, while dismissing the possibility that the missing charges reflected the requested service not being performed. She also denied any recollection of a documented 30-minute pre-subscription call and focused on how I obtained the business number instead of why nobody had returned my calls. Mistakes happen, and this is exactly the kind of local business I would have loved to support. Laundré presents itself as an environmentally conscious, community-oriented service that takes thoughtful care of customers' clothing, and I likely would have given them substantial repeat business. Instead, the aggressive and dismissive response, combined with the complete refusal to listen or meaningfully investigate my concerns left such a terrible taste in my mouth and I am leaving this review as a warning. Do not take your clothes here. Do not risk it. Reaching anyone with authority is nearly impossible: calls and messages go unanswered, employees repeatedly promise a manager will call back, and those callbacks never happen. They can never admit any fault of their own and always double down.

If you've got a choice of places to pick to do your laundry and are in the city, this would be the place I recommend. The interior is super clean, people inside are friendly or at the very least, leave you to your own devices. Here, you'll find machines that are always working, and by Bay Area standards, affordable! I love that I can pay with quarters, or card. I think there's even an app available!

The staff was super kind, welcoming, & helpful, which made the whole experience even better. I love that they offer multiple ways to pay -- you can use quarters, tap to pay with your debit card, or download the FasCard app, which is super convenient. Not to mention, with every dollar you spend you gain points, that can be used for future discounts. The laundromat itself was very clean, well maintained, & located in a nice, safe part of the city. Lee answered every question I had, gave me very detailed information, & explained everything really clearly. They close at 10 PM, & I didn't finish drying & folding my clothes until around 10:45. After I finished, I went outside to wait for my Lyft, & Lee actually came outside to let me know I didn't have to wait out there & invited me back inside until my ride arrived. That level of kindness & customer service really stood out to me Overall, such a great experience & I'll definitely be coming back!
