One of my favorite laundry mats - the music is not oppressive and occasionally good - multiple machines of all sizes make a wait time non existent (I haven't waited in 3 years) The staff are helpful and polite and just darn nice folks. There are tables and benches in the front. Seems like a good place for you to have your lunch . It is however a bit pricier than most but includes free detergent and an amiable atmosphere. I really really like this laundromat. I switched from a different one that was nearby because the machines are modern and the entire place is always clean. I love that I can use a card and don't mind that they charge 10% because I'd have easily spent that much for an ATM Withdrawal fee because my bank isn't nearby. They have coin machines when I actually have cash so it's the best of both worlds. I've saved a bit of cash by going to the window for free soap, and honestly it's solid soap. My clothes come out looking exactly as expected. The folks behind the counter are warm and kind, it's a great experience from start to finish. I absolutely hate doing laundry but this place consistently has clean machines and makes it tolerable. , Unless you go at peak time on a weekend there are plenty of machines. Clean clothing is necessary to stay healthy & this laundry mat provides an essential function. The owner also keeps his employees employed so they can continue to earn a wage while other businesses close or shed employees like disposable garments. The laundry mat is spotless. I've been coming to this location for nearly 8 years for my oversized laundry since my machine at home can't handle my duvets and blankets. This had been a laundromat ever since I moved into the neighborhood. So Fresh must have taken over since there was a Smoke damage done. Brand new machines and counter service was moved to the back. There is even a modern front area to sit at tables while waiting for your stuff. Ok it's a laundromat and yet it fully automated and modern. We haven't seen the likes of facilities for a while here. We've used this laundry since it opened. It's clean and has plenty of large capacity washers and dryers. We used their laundry service. We were missing a bag of clothes and contacted the laundry. They were very quick to respond and found that bag of clothing was still at the laundry and had mistakenly not been added to our bags for pickup. People make mistakes, the important thing is how they handle the mistake. read more

This is my go-to Landry mat when I need to wash and dry bedding. They business is very clean and the prices are higher than most cleaners which attracts a certain crowd. In this case most the time it's pleasant experience. No fights, arguments, maybe from someone who wants to get 50 dollars worth of coins, but what do you expect? They don't have a coin machine for that. A two queen size comforter and a queen size quilt will cost about $12-13. The machines are powerful, cleaned wiped down routinely by friendly staff, machines are both coin and credit card operated which I find so efficient, always hated lugging pounds of loose coins, there's many options on sizes of loads. There's large counter tops for folding your items, and degreasers and sanitizers available. You'll spend about an hour and half here. It's a good location there plenty of stores and take out and outdoor dining on Clement. read more

Favorite place to go too! Mainly come here every two to three week to get my laundry done. I love that they take card so I don't have to worry about carry load of coin. Super clean. Staff was constantly sanitizing while we were there. Needed to wash comforter and was able to do for about $15 with one XL wash load and then one dry cycle. Comfortable seating to relax with book or work. Also a lot of cafes, shops, restaurants, etc. on Clement Street. read more

Last wash 8pm as stated by their glass window so we thought were stil good but the washer we had unfortunately timed for 37mins we think our clothes will dry for 23mins nah we had to leave with all our clothes medium wet because the lady is vaccuming and wiping everything out. Last wash should be at 7pm so your staff can go home on time as they want. And for us customers can not over expect as advertised by your glass window. read more

Pros: -Very clean inside and out -The washers and dryers take credit cards and coins but beware that they put a $15 hold on your card. I had a $30 hold although I used less the $15. I think there was a hold for washing and another for drying. -Free WiFi Cons: -No parking -The dryers took a longer time to dry my clothes then most older dryers in crummier laundry mats, which meant it took more money to dry my clothes. -Nowhere to wash your hands if you spill laundry detergent on them -There's no restroom but the nice woman attendant directed me down to the cafe across the street since they both have the same owner. read more

SFSC did a fantastic job, and in process, I've found a place I'd happily use for both their service and machines. Really nice people, great job on my laundry, and a friendly super-clean laundromat with new machines. To repeat others' observations: machines are equipped to take plastic money and there is a change machine. $4/wash on regular size machines. This laundromat is: Super clean always, new, well-staffed, equipped with wide variety of sizes of machines (6x, 4x, 2x for washers and two different sizes of dryers, I believe). Free detergent/dryer sheets. Accepts credit cards (still has machines to change $$ into quarters). Free WiFi (need to go to the counter and get your code). Kinda pricier, but has all the extra things you need and it's extremely convenient. Sometimes I feel like the music is a bit too loud, especially when I bring work to do while I do laundry...Which is exactly why I am writing this yelp review and NOT getting homework done at this moment, while my laundry is going. Other than that, it's a beautiful, new laundromat that I definitely sometimes take a bus to, because I don't want to take out cash to do laundry... and because it has the big 6x washing machine! Also, if you swipe your card one more time, you can pay extra for super wash (which also means, don't ~accidentally~ swipe your card twice because it'll be more $$ and longer wash). When you use your credit card, it'll charge you $15 at first and then adjust the price later, which I found odd. I get texts of my credit transactions and I was shook to see $15.00 when I used the $9.25 machine (that's the 6x loader, there's more cheaper/smaller ones here). They charge $7 to $9.75 for a wash! Plus, if you use a card they charge another 10% fee on top. What is that in total with dry? $13 or something? Jeez. There's been a coin shortage so I thought I'd come here since I can use a card, but wow...I was not prepared. Taking my stuff home to air dry instead. The beautiful ladies in So Fresh So Clean came to my rescue after I splashed turmeric sauce down my pale shirt on vacation. Within an hour on a Friday evening they had eliminated the stain, washed and dried my shirt, amazing! They were also absolutely delightful to chat with and even wrote instructions for how to deal with any future turmeric disasters. Recently renovated and re-opened, they have all new machines, including some large capacity washers and dryers. And the machines all take credit cards! (And coins, too.) Oldies music plays at a non-obnoxious level in the background, and there is always a friendly staff person present, keeping everything tidy. They offer free detergent, although I didn't partake. There's limited seating and no public bathroom, neither of which is unusual for a laundromat; I'd give them five stars if they had those. Parking is challenging but that's not their fault. Huh....I know nobody probably bothers to write bad reviews for laundromats but. This places policy makes no damn sense. Or their machines are terribly designed. Tapped my card to pay for the dryer. It charged me and nothing happened. Dryer did not start. I had to pay to dry my clothes TWICE, ($4) and the staff refused me a refund. I live down the street, come here all the time. Couldn't you at least give me a credit for a future dry? Or credit the dryer spin for two cycles? I don't consider myself demanding but they took money out of our pocket and they are overpriced to begin with. I'll be laundering elsewhere. read more
