Great service. It was my first time using Crown Cleaners but they've earned themselves a regular customer for all my dry cleaning needs.

Brought in a wool/cashmere coat from Theory to fix a sauce stain. Cathy let me know what to expect and provided updates as the coat was ready. Price was very reasonable and turn around time worked well for me (about a week). Definitely planning to return! read more

Crown Cleaners not only do quick and shockingly good work, but they are the type of people that remember your name after the first visit, text you with updates/questions about your garments as needed, and always go the extra mile. I leave there every time with a smile on my face. And on top of all that, they are super affordable! I moved a little bit farther from them and tried a couple of places closer to me but in the end, the quality job and service of Crown Cleaners brought me back and now I won't go anywhere else. read more

Crown Cleaners is a hidden gem and Cathy is one of a kind. She actually texted me to let me know that the item I had left required a second attempt to clean an old stain. She also sewed down a loose label at the neckline. She really cares about doing a good job. Plus, she's personable! If you love your clothes and want top-notch cleaning at affordable prices, don't bother going anywhere else. read more

I came to crown cleaners even though it's ~10 mins from my house because I had a very special, luxury wool coat that I needed dry cleaned and crown cleaners had the best reviews I could find... Since then I've been wildly impressed! Cathy is so warm, friendly, and a wonderful communicator. Her and Peter gave me tips on how to spot clean some of the spills on it myself which worked so well. Then they did a great job on dry cleaning (& I've taken a number of other items here and everything has turned out well). But what has been most impressive is the dedication and communication from Cathy. I was leaving for a trip and called her and she stayed past closing so that I could pick up my items. I would not expect this from any dry cleaners but was so grateful and relieved when she went above and beyond by doing this. She also is very communicative over text which is super helpful. Never have gotten this level of care from a dry cleaners. So all around a wonderful experience and the kind of business you want to work with. Who really cares about their customers. read more

Since relocating from LA, I've been searching for a reliable cleaner in the Bay Area for quite some time. After reading the many positive Yelp reviews, I decided to take my jackets, coats, and suit to Cathy for dry cleaning. Her dedication and attention to detail make her stand out, and I'm grateful to have found someone I can trust with my clothes and highly recommend Crown Cleaners for top-quality service. read more

So friendly, and amazing at dealing with the inevitable wine spills after each wedding I attend

So when I left my jackets a few weeks I didn't get the usual little laundry slip with a number on it. I wondered how she would find my stuff. Maybe by phone number? So I come back to pick them up. Keep in mind I had only been here once to drop off my stuff. Kathy greeted me BY NAME, punched in my number and handed me my stuff. Even told me it was a little hard to clean. Mind blown. Exploded. Great cleaning job, reasonable prices and customer service beyond compare. Even though I live in East Bay, I'm bringing my dry cleaning to Kathy from now on. read more

Cathy is the best! So glad she's back in the Marina. I've sent everything to her, literally from hats to wedding guest dresses and everything has always come back perfect and extraordinarily reasonably priced. Can't recommend more! read more

I've been meaning to write this review for a while now and randomly on a Friday night, my partner and I were talking about gems in SF and Crown Cleaners came up first for us -- specifically Cathy! We needed some (VERY) last minute dry cleaning done before attending a friend's wedding and Cathy came to the rescue. She has unbeatable prices, gets the job done even faster than already-tight schedules, and has incredible quality for her work! I also have to say, my partner left several valuables and cash in his pockets and Cathy texted him right away to let him know and kept it safe for him. He insisted she should keep the money because we honestly love and appreciate her business (and integrity!) and she refused! Honestly, we both love chatting with her when we stop by her cleaners. She's so kind, warm, and honestly a true gem in SF -- she really is the hallmark of a great small business in our community! This is where everyone should go to get any clothing services done! 100000000000/10 recommend! read more

Went to crown cleaners for a tricky spray tanned stain on a cocktail dress and they did a great job getting the stain out! The owner is super sweet and thoughtful. Prices were very reasonable, it was $32 for a suit and the dress which I mentioned needed special care. This will definitely be my new go to dry cleaning place! read more

The sweetest owner ever. Quality work and the ultimate care for her customers. My coat caught a little mold from damp SF weather and she cleaned it for a great price, $20. She was quick and oh so kind. I love supporting small business owners and she's a total gem! read more

Came in with a dress for a wedding that got shipped to me with a stain. Cathy was so sweet and caring about making sure my dress would get fixed and took the time to get to know me, they are a small business that really cares! Kathy clearly cares about her customers. She warmly recalls names, stories about stains, and personal details. She is also highly experienced (26 years) and extraordinarily diligent (checks over items and hand writes notes regarding their condition). Crown Cleaners - A nice note when I came to pick up my dry cleaning :) - Laundry Services Near Me - San Francisco, California

As everyone is sharing, Kathy is kind and authentic -- traits that you wouldn't think matters that much when you're getting your clothes cleaned...but it matters! Whether you've been in the neighborhood for decades or are brand new, she conveys a sense of community and care to you individually. This is of course on top of providing an excellent cleaning service. I had a white jacket that had multiple fabric types that looked un-helpable, but came back pristine. Highly recommend. read more

I had some dry clean bummers before, this is why I feel so happy to stick with Kathy's store for the past three years. Kathy is so nice and sweet! Spilled wine on my down comforter (don't ask...) and needed to get it cleaned. A week and $75 (which I think is pretty standard) later and it was back in great condition. 5 stars for the lovely woman that works there. Really brightened my day talking with her for a bit and she is wonderful. Even remembered me when I came back. Peter was so welcoming when I first came in that I knew I'd found my go cleaners in the city. An over-served friend spilled an entire glass is wine on my favorite teddy coat. Best dry cleaner I've ever used, and here's why: - The owners are so nice, and somehow (I have no idea how) always remember you no matter how little you go - They get out any stain on earth. Seriously. I took a dress here that another dry cleaner had already tried to fix and failed (it was a red wine stain on a cream dress) and they got it out no problem - and for less money than the original botch. They have never yet failed to get out a stain. - The service is above and beyond. I put in a dress to get dry cleaned one time and it had a bead on the back that was broken. They rang around a bunch of different places to try and get a new bead and then rang me to apologise because they couldn't find one that was the same. What other dry cleaners would even notice?! Love, love, love this place! read more

So, I moved to the area and needed a cleaners. Of course I go to Yelp... I read the reviews about the down-home, service with a smile and was incredulous. Well folks, sure enough, Cathy introduced herself and shook my hand! Whoa! Am I in small town USA circa 1955? Crazy! In an awesome way of course. We chit chatted a little bit and I left the store feeling like my coat was going to be taken care of and well cleaned. I went back to pick it up, and they did a wonderful job. The dirty spots were gone and the coat looked just as good as when I had bought it. Awesome! read more

'This is the best cleaners in SF!' I concur. The prices are average, but the service is awesome. Love this place! The owner, Kathy, is SO sweet, attentive and genuine and has always remembered me every time I've come in.
