Friendly family run spot. Do a great job with my shirts and suits. They also do hemming for pants.

Our go to dry cleaners! Always friendly, and always great quality work! We think the world of the shop

I would not recommend this place. I had my jacket cleaned for $40 and when I got home I noticed that the same stains that were there before were still there. I took it back to the cleaners and let them know. They did not take any responsibility or accountable for wasting my time. I told them I was disappointed and the guy lectured me lol completely avoiding the fact that the jacket was returned to me dirty. This place either doesn't actually clean your clothes and returns it in the same condition or the quality of their machine/work is very poor. I would double check the items you receive back. read more

My go-to Dry Cleaner!! The turn around time here is so quick, these people do not play around! My clothes are always returned in perfect condition if not better. The transaction is always quick and easy thanks to Noah! I love this place especially because it is family owned and we love to support small businesses!! read more

I was in need of getting my pants hemmed for an upcoming wedding and was so happy to find Deluxe Cleaners via Yelp! Noah helped me out and was able to get my pants hemmed in a quick 2 days for a reasonable price. I'll definitely keep Deluxe in mind next time I need my clothes dry cleaned or hemmed. read more

When moving to a new city it's always hard to find a hair salon and dry cleaners you can entrust your most treasured item(s) to. I would bring anything from my bed sheets to my wedding dress to Deluxe. Whether you're a patron at a coffee shop, restaurant, or a dry cleaners, it's really boring to read and hear about you complaining about prices to small business owners. It's 2023. You cant expect anything to be cheap, let alone cheap and *quality*. read more

First class service at reasonable pricing! The quality of their work is exceptional and turn-around time is remarkably fast. I've tried several other SF cleaners and none of them come close the quality of Deluxe Cleaners. My dress shirts are always starched and pressed perfectly. Custom suits and designer dresses are always handled with appropriate care. Custom linen table cloths and napkins are meticulously cared for. Deluxe Cleaners is simply the best, most reliable cleaner in San Francisco! read more

Love this place! They were my primary cleaner when I lived in the city. Love the experience, clean studio and reliable results. Even now that I am in Marin, I still bring them my specialty garments and silks. Thanks for many years of wonderful service - I never have to worry about my garments when they're in the hands of Deluxe. read more

Good job dry cleaning suits and shirts with short turnaround. Hours are fairly inconvenient for after work pickup unfortunately.

This place is fantastic. I have 2 places walking distance in Pac Heights, but came here because of reviews & fast turn around time. The place I used to go was unfriendly, rude, apathetic & I had to wait a week. Not here!! The young man is fast, efficient, friendly. They've done a great job on dress shirts & jackets. Park behind the van. Highly recommend. read more

Extremely overpriced for laundered and dry cleaned mens shirts. My fault for not confirming the pricing before but I assumed a well rated place on Yelp would have reasonable market prices for laundry. I don't believe the pricing was posted. My bill was $160+ for 21 shirts, an average of almost $8/shirt for mostly launder and hang with some dry cleaning. I normally use a delivery service that charges $2.50 per shirt plus a delivery fee. Wanted to support our local launder but I certainly won't be going back. read more

Excellent service and quality. Brought in some dress shirts with some stains (coffee and wine) that another cleaner couldn't get out as well as a suit and a tux. All the stains were removed and everything was pressed perfectly! Might be a little more expensive than other places or Purple Tie but you pay for what you get read more

The company has misleading prices and I have just filed a complaint to the BBB (Better Business Bureau). They do not specify nor provide clear pricing information. After being presented with a bill of $11.95 for 2 shirts laundry (not dry clean), I have asked the detailed pricing behind and no-one in the store was able to provide adequate answers. At the end they said that pricing was the way it is and I should accept it. I have asked for a receipt (they never issue one) and still it is not clear why I should be charged this much. The amount difference compared to what I was told when I dropped off the shirts is trivial (~$3 in total) but I think they were very misleading. I am not interested in having some money back, I just want to warn other potential customers. Bottom line: no clear pricing, no receipt ever issued and only cash transactions read more

Deluxe Cleaners - $7 for a laundered shirt in a box. - Dry Cleaning Near Me - San Francisco, California

I love Deluxe Cleaners! It is SOOO hard to find a good dry cleaners, and every time I move - finding a hair stylist and finding a dry cleaners stresses me out (b/c both your hair and your clothes, when ruined, are super expensive to fix, not to mention upsetting to the ego). I came to Deluxe b/c it's a block and a half from my house, and b/c the reviews on yelp seemed decent. Honestly I couldn't ask for more from a dry cleaners - they've never ruined or lost any of my items, and they're great with alterations. In fact, just today I picked up a very complicated-to-alter summer-sun dress, that I was totally scared to alter, and it was done perfectly! The first time they took in the waist and altered the racerback-style shoulder/back straps, but the straps were too tight (even though I had insisted this would be ideal when we measured the first time). I tried on the dress and said the straps were too tight, so they fixed them the second time - free of charge. And they didn't make a big deal about it, but were instead happy to help! I picked up the dress today, and now it fits perfectly after the second strap alteration. I am so happy! Honestly, this dry cleaners meets all my requirements: - Clean & press clothes well, no chemical smells - Never lose items - Same-day service - Friendly service with a smile - Quality, reliable, low-stress alterations, done well I highly recommend you try them! read more

Great service and quick turnaround. I got suits and jackets back within a few days. Friendly service and a green zone in front that you can park in. read more

I had a great experience at Deluxe for altering a dress. I needed to fix the neckline of a dress for a last minute event. The lovely people at Deluxe helped me figure out how to adjust the straps and then they quickly turned around the alteration, and it was only $15! read more

Really nice and they do a great job I've brought nice cashmere, silk and also a parka all of which came out great. Their turnaround time is also good. Highly recommend! read more

After twenty years in SF I have tried many dry cleaners around town, including Peninou. So grateful to have discovered Deluxe Cleaners seven years ago. Noah, Joanne and their family are the only ones I trust to care for my made-to-measure jackets, shirts, linens, and more. If you have fine clothes and want them to look new for years, place your trust in Deluxe. read more

They get the job done and do it right. I always get good work in a timely matter. I had a stain on my shirt that wouldn't come off. I chalked up my favorite shirt as an L. but the man in front did everything he could and removed the stain with dedication and passion. Amazing business... read more

This place is fantastic. I rarely write reviews but this place of business deserves it. Noah is phenomenal, friendly, and I strongly believe he knows the value of customer service. I can't express enough how grateful I am to connect with this place given the circumstances of dealing with large bags (over 10,15lbs) of clothes for wash/fold and dry cleaning. This place is even able to accommodate special circumstances and will execute exceptional service for their customers. I do believe you will find them useful and helpful for your individual needs. They deserve the praise! read more

Efficient. Kind. Quick. De Luxe does a great job on alterations & dry cleaning. They also have fantastic customer service and are eco-friendly. Why go somewhere else? De Luxe your duds! read more

I have this really hot silk dress that's apparently quite difficult to clean -- a couple different dry cleaners wanted me to fill out some release of liability form before they'd even touch... that way, they wouldn't have to be responsible when they ruined the dress. Never a good sign. So I brought my dress to Deluxe Cleaners a little less than 24 hours before I needed to wear it, just hoping they'd be able to help me out. The woman looked at my dress for a minute or so while I waited for the liability lecture... then she asked me when I'd need it back. I frowned a little, and said, "Welllllll, tomorrow???" She goes, "OK, see you after 5." And that was it. I came back the next evening to pick up the dress, half expecting the beads to be hanging on by a thread, but the thing looked better than it did when I bought it. And it was only $18. DeeeeeeLUXE. read more

THE worst over priced job at sewing and alterations. Seriously!!! IF you can't take a petite size dress in, PLS say SO!! DO not bring any alterations, sewing, taking in anything to get fixed here!! I had several dresses and tops that needed to be taken in, They charged me quite a bit, and when I came back and tried it on, the alterations were either not done or done wrong. She claimed that's what I wanted... N told her, why would Bring my dress in for it to be still one size too big on me? They took it in again, and charged me $15 more for their mistake. So I thought will try them again, came back with 2 other dresses, and ONCE again, it's like they just can't do alterations!!! NEVER again! Found a better place where they can actually sew and make alterations!! read more

I manage a high end clothing store on Union Street. I took a shirt that came from the manufacturer with a stain on the back; no biggie. I took the shirt to De Luxe as we have used them in the past. I pointed out the stain and asked for it to be dry cleaned as that's truly the only way to get the satin out. I wanted no starch. They recommended that the shirt be hand ironed at an extra charge. I said sure. When I came to pick up the shirt, they had laundered the shirt and the stain was still there. They tried to convince me that I requested laundering. which I did not. So we stated again and I requested that I pay the difference between the last charge and the dry cleaning. Needless to say I was shocked to learn they charge $7.50 to dry clean a shirt. More than double what I pay in my home neighborhood in Nob Hill I get a call saying there is a hole in the shirt and did I still want to dry clean it. I went to look. the hole was in the right shoulder front of the shirt. I know there was no hole when I brought the shirt in. How on earth did the person that hand ironed the shirt NOT see this whole while they were ironing it the first time out? Needless to say the shirt is ruined and they do not take responsibility for this happening. I would recommend not using them. Accidents do happen but when responsibility is not taken... Well, you get the picture. read more

They are fast and friendly. I've been coming here for a while. They are very reliable. The younger male was wearing jeans and sandals which I don't like but bad style doesn't affect the awesome service. read more

This place is amazing. They do such nice work, both dry cleaning and alterations. I have been looking fora good reasonably priced dry cleaner since i moved here a year and half ago and guess what, I found them!! I searched yelp and some other sites trying to find a new one and i decided to try out Deluxe. I went on their site to see if they also did alterations and saw that they had a 20% off for new customers - bonus. Not only did they clean my stuff quickly, they did such a good job. They packaged everything so well, making sure nothing came off the hanger. They even notices that one of my hems was coming undone so they hemmed it (charged me $5 but i was happy that they just did it.) I had a TON TON of stuff, around 21 items (jackets, dresses, pants) and with the 20% off it was around $150 I expected it to be that or more. The one slightly annoying thing was I also dropped off a dress to be shortened and it was supposed to be ready Sat (today's Monday) and I didn't make it in this weekend and I received a call from them today asking if i could come back in to remeasure. I was at first annoyed as we already did the measurement but I am happy they didn't just do it with the quick measurements as the dress is hard to hem and they needed to take more careful measurements. They are going to be able to get it done in 2 days as i need it for a wedding i'm in. I really like, this place, everything about it....if you are looking to try a new cleaners try them out (go online and get that coupon too!) read more

I don't want to jinx myself...but Deluxe is TOP NOTCH. Deluxe is my third dry cleaner in San Francisco in a year and a half. If only I had found them sooner (see my review of Union French Cleaners). They are wonderful, and here are the reasons why: My clothes are always ready within 2 days. The staff are extremely friendly, fast and they are always able to find your garments. They are extremely thorough with stains. They cleaned a very expensive, silk, solid green dress 4 times to get out the drink stains from the long, flowy sleeves. Most dry cleaners would just put that tag on that says "Sorry, but we did the best we could" and charge you the regular price. The lady at Deluxe Cleaners hardly scolded me for practically wiping the bar at the Christmas party with my arms. I completely trust Deluxe Cleaners with my clothes - cleaning and alterations! read more

Woohoo. A dry cleaner 'as good as it gets.' What does that mean really? They haven't lost or ruined something? They haven't over billed me? They take my money with a smile? Who wouldn't? It could be cheaper but they have otherwise been consistent. Auf. read more

Deluxe Cleaners rocks. I went to them after going to Union French Cleaners - those bastards who ruined an expensive shirt and claimed no liability. They are so friendly and offer great service. They are not cheap but they are good as you often get what you pay for. I have and continue to use them for dry cleaning, alterations (inc. original hem), and laundry. Big ups to Deluxe Cleaners. They have other locations, also; however, they have different names. I would give them a five if they were less expensive read more

I have been going to this dry cleaner for years. Even when I didn't live in the neighborhood, I would bring my stuff in. I have never had a problem with damaged clothing. The also do great inexpensive alterations, which really helped me save cash during my most recent tour of bridesmaid duty. Super nice owners - they even gave me a free lint roller for Christmas! Free lint rollers AND candy? You can't go wrong with that. read more

Noah is the man - super helpful and understood what I've been trying to get done with alterations for ages.

I use Deluxe Cleaners for my dry cleaning. My clothes always look brand new when I get them back! If there's a tear or a stain, they will find it and fix it for you. They also pickup and deliver for free if your order is over a certain amount. I moved out of the neighborhood and still trek all the way back to use them because they're so good!! Pricey, but so worth it. read more

BEWARE, DO NOT BRING YOUR RAW DENIM HERE! Let's face it, there is no such thing as a perfect dry cleaner, however you would think a dry cleaner these days would know what raw denim is and that it cannot be washed. You would think the giant letters imprinted on the jeans that say "DRY CLEAN ONLY" would be enough...but apparently not for Deluxe Cleaners. Goodbye $200 worth of jeans. read more

So after spending too much on designer jeans I figured I probably should have them hemmed so they actually fit rather than just walking all over them like I do my cheap jeans. I tried deluxe because its only two blocks from me. They did an original hem on two pairs of jeans plus patched another pair because there was a whole in the butt ( I have no idea why I seem predisposed to getting holes there) for a total of $30 it wasn't too bad. The hem was perfect and they had it to me in a week, so I will be going back again and I do recommend them. read more

Do not bring your Rug here. They had told us one week, three weeks later it was finally ready and it cost $150. This job should cost $100 at most. As for dry cleaning, they are average in timing and way more expensive than a other places in the neighborhood. read more

I brought my wedding gown in to Deluxe hoping I could circumvent the $400 starting price at French Laundry to get this heavily beaded gown cleaned. They didn't bat an eye lid about the bead work and took the dress. I got it back flawed with stains that they claimed was from the "pearls" all over the waist and train of the dress. The dress was also missing several beads and crystals of which they claimed was "there before" Then they only gave me a 50% discount, after completely ruining the dress, it should have been free. I wouldn't recommend this place for wedding gowns, despite their claim to be professionals (written on their window). They are nice people and great dry cleaners, but are NOT wedding gown specialists. read more
