Annie's is always reliable and I have been a customer for many years. The clothes are clean and folded beautifully and the dry cleaning is impeccable!! read more

The woman who works here is friendly and professional. I've had good experiences, always fair prices, and she's even rejuvenated some silk pieces I have. I trust her with my vintage finds and have nothing but good things to say about the services! However...I wish the hours online could be updated. Came here at 4:45 on a Friday only to find out it closed at 4:30 and online it said open til 7:00 I'll post a pic with hours posted on the storefront. read more

Annie's Cleaners - Store hours as of August 2024 - Dry Cleaning Near Me - San Francisco, California

I've taken my clothes here for dry cleaning, mending and alterations for years and have been very satisfied with the services

I always get great quality and reasonable pricing with their services! They're professional, efficient, and consistently do an excellent job. Whether it's cleaning my mattress or other items, they never disappoint. Highly recommend them for reliable and affordable service! read more

Catharine is wonderful. She is so organized, patient and professional, with a side of mama bear. My clothes come back on time and are perfectly cleaned. Her store is very close to my work, making it a total win! I always want to call her Annie! read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE! A block from my home....i have taken several pairs of pants that have rips in the crotch and she has repaired them back to new...fast and inexpensive! Top notch service! Thanks Annie! read more

Super nice people. I take dry cleaning and do alterations here. Fast, affordable and great service. I live across town and still use them when downtown for work. read more

I have had a hard time finding a cleaner that does a good job at a reasonable price... I came to Annie's because it was close to my old job. I have stayed with them after changing jobs because she does good work! read more

I'm always so worried that Annie's will close since the mega dry cleaner kitty corner did during the pandemic. Annie's is great! Reasonable prices, chill customer service & clothing ready on time! I haven't used them for alterations. One small low point: not open super long hours but as a small operation that's understandable. read more

The owners were helpful and took time to answer questions. We love supporting local, small businesses.

I have been going to Annie's for a few years now for alterations. Her prices are reasonable and affordable. I've had torn pockets on a jacket sewn back together. I had a tear in a bedsheet repaired effectively. I took her four pairs of new jeans the cuffs of which needed to be raised by half-an-inch. She altered all four pairs of jeans to exact specifications, and I never regretted a single repair or payment. Her hours are fantastic and she's in the neighborhood, so her shop is very convenient for those who live either in the Tenderloin or lower Nob Hill. There's one alterationist who lives closer to my neighborhood than Annie's. I once took a pair of jeans there to be repaired. She made me wait two weeks to get them back and when I arrived on the appointed day, she gave me back my jeans entirely unaltered, saying she didn't have the necessary thread or material to make the repairs. Annie's return of your items is timely, within a few days at most, and I've never had issues with her being unable to do anything, although if there was something she could not do, I'm sure she will tell you upfront, not leave you hanging until the very end. (When I refer to Annie, I'm referring to the woman or women behind the counter serving the in-coming customers.) read more

What a great service, front desk & dry cleaning service. I turned in 27 shirts, got them back really quickly, and was perfectly pressed. I will definitely return and I suggest that you try them out!!!! read more

Decent job, but seemed a bit pricier than most places, they charged me $3 a shirt, which is pretty high for some basic dry cleaning. I think I'd check out some other cleaners. Though their work is good its a bit too pricey when you factor in the cost difference on 20 dress shirts. read more

I'm very satisfied with the quality of work, and staff is very warm and friendly. Even if it is a bit more pricey here, I think you have to pay for quality and service above the standard level. I plan on continuing to be a regular customer at Annie's. I'd recommend this place to anyone who needs dry cleaning regularly, and may need one-day service. read more

We started using Annie's for our laundry (fluff and fold) about 3 months ago. Her prices are very reasonable. Mostly I love the way our clothes come back. They're carefully, beautifully and neatly folded. We tried two other places before finding Annie's. Not every place took such good care of our things. We also take our drycleaning and pressed laundry to Annie's. She always does a great job. I highly recommend Annie's Cleaners. read more

Annie's Cleaners does a pretty great job, and they are only a block and a half from my apartment. All the staff is friendly, and they have same day service. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is because $2.00 per shirt is 50 cents more than the guy that does it 3 blocks away. DO IT! read more

well, I am still pleased as can be with the staff and the service but the price of a dry clean for a shirt has skyrocketed by about 40% in a year or so. In fact, during the time I dropped off a couple shirts this past time and the time I picked them up I swear that they went up a dollar. The staff says otherwise but don't think my receipt would lie. Might be time to start looking for a new service since the 4.50 per shirt is getting out of my range. read more

The staff is friendly, and the prices are decent in my opinion (then again I think almost all dry cleaners around here are decently prices compared places I have resided before). So no complaints there. Service is rather quick, I dropped off a few coats and two blazers, I needed one back within two days, and that was no problem. I recommend this place for shirts, coats, those kind of things, as well as alterations. I do not suggest it for expensive suits, or any decent suit for that matter. Also don't bring expensive blazers/sports jackets here! Why? Chemical burns... Out of about 4-5 items I brought, only one had chemical burns, an Armani blazer (sadly). Bottom Line: Great for simple items, stay away if you are looking to get a suit or blazer cleaned, its just not worth it. ALSO GREAT for Alternations! They really do a solid job here, I ripped part of the lining on another blazer with a watch, while putting it on, and they did an excellent job at fixing that up. Just don't let them dry clean it after :-) I'd give it 3.5 Stars if that was possible... read more

I've used Annie's before and have always been completely satisfied. Nothing special, but they run a good business at an affordable price. Sadly, same day service is not an option. read more

Love them. Very nice and always have my stuff done when they say they will. Used to use the place across the street until they lost a shirt of mine TWICE. Price is comparable with anything else in this neighborhood. read more

I've been going to Annie's for the past 8yrs. They have always been extremely reliable. Catherine is also really great with alterations, I've used her many times to alter simple things such as jeans to difficult dresses. She is always honest, reasonable & delivers a great service. read more

This review is based on her alterations only as I haven't dropped off any dry-cleaning here: Put on my new levis today, the ones with the silver metal darts on the back pocket, wondering why I hadn't worn them before since I got them several months' ago. As I was traipsing down the street, with my hems catching on my heel, I knew the reason! What to do, what to do? Then, I remembered Annie's which I had passed a zillion times as I live on Post Street just two blocks up. I went in and explained my plight to the guy at the counter and he asked me if I could return in an hour when Annie was in. He could tell I was uncertain about this prospect and asked me to wait while he called her. He did and then said she was two blocks away and could I wait five minutes for her? Certainly! When she came in, I asked if she could do the alteration to my hem while I waited and she affirmed. She pinned a leg, had me sit in my naked buns on a chair in the dressing room just inside the door, closed the curtain, and the pants were done in five minutes! All for only $8.00 too. Five stars for cheap and speedy service as accomodating as it gets! Oh, and she takes plastic too. I told her I will be back. read more
