Stellar cleaning quality and excellent service. Irene is a delight. She brings out my clothes quickly, with a warm smile, every time.

Fantastic repair and cleaning on a vintage piece. The reviews do not lie; you can trust Toni to do it right. They may ask for a little time, but the results will be worth it. Less than two weeks after bringing it in, this once-dusty, on the verge of mildew tail coat with its waist and armpit seams coming apart inside now looks glorious. It's ready for a fancy night out! So pleased, and will definitely trust Toni again. read more

I tried Tony Cleaners for the first time because my usual laundromat was on vacation this week. I needed wash and fold service, which I initially thought they didn't offer because they mostly focus on dry cleaning. However, I brought in a big bag of clothes, and the lady (possibly the owner) was very welcoming and assured me they could handle wash and fold. They even asked what detergent I preferred, and since I didn't have any with me, they used their own Tide detergent. When I returned later that afternoon, my clothes were beautifully folded, clean, and smelled great. The price was very reasonable too. It's great to know we have such a reliable and welcoming laundry service in the neighborhood! read more

Eileen always pay extra attention and makes sure that everything is done correctly - whether it be tailoring or getting a tough stain out. She is not only a true pro, but she is always so cheerful and lovely to see. I know longer work across the street from Tony's but I drive across town to Tony's since Eileen is so great! read more

Long story I'll skip but my pricy Pendleton blanket had shrunk by 10 inches all around and had the consistency of an Austrian boiled wool jacket. I thought it was hopeless. But like other talented vendors in SF who've saved me, I snapped my fingers and thought, "I'll see if Toni Cleaners can help!" Cleaned then steamed then steamed and stretched, steamed and pressed, repeat again and again until my Pendleton beauty was restored to its former glory. What Toni Cleaners did is nothing short of a *miracle*. Not only beautiful and warm but this blanket was my cat Tinkerbell's comfort object. She happily spent Saturdays melting into it while listening to opera on KDFC and in the final weeks after a shock cancer diagnosis. She died far too young. It was so more than a blanket; Toni Cleaners understood and took such great care. Imagine how they'll treat your dryclean-only things? They should be your drycleaners. Bookmark them. read more

I get my blanket dry cleaned here for about 2 years now. Their service is always on time and consistent without the hefty price tag. The lady that works there (I should really learn her name) is absolutely the sweetest. She always has a smile on her face and just greets you with the warmest energy. read more

Found this spot by accident--figured it would be another run-of-the-mill operation. But they don't just launder clothes; they seem to understand them. Rare these days, right? Had an old jacket that looked like it went through a tornado, but they somehow brought it back to life. Beyond just a clean shirt or pressed sheet, they handle every item like a restoration project. You want quality? They redefine it. read more

I'm giving this business 5 stars because of excellent service and especially finished sheets and pillow cases. After my cleaners of 40 years went out of business during the pandemic there were no cleaners in my Twin Peaks neighborhood. I had passed Toni Cleaners many times and decided to try them. How glad I did. First the prices are reasonable. Second the work is excellent. Third Irene. She is so pleasant and helpful. Thanks to Irene. I will remain a customer. They have added Wednesday opening which is very convenient. Alan H. read more

Great service. They redid an alteration for free because it didn't take the first time.

I agree with Molly M's assessment. I've been going to Toni's Cleaners for almost 20 years. They are a family owned shop with ample regular clientele. The owners know all their customers and a claim ticket is not necessary. Whenever I visit the shop they automatically pull my laundry & dry cleaning and I've never had an item lost. All the laundry is done in-house and dry cleaning is sent out to a 3rd party. The turn around time is fair and rush services are available upon request. They also offer alteration services. Highly recommended! read more

Great service and wonderful people! Found a solid replacement for my old place in the city. Definitely recommend.

Iris is the best! Wonderful customer service, items always ready by estimated date. This is the best dry cleaner I've ever had.

Absolutely love Irene, she's always so positive and happy to greet people when coming in. I highly recommend her/ this business!!! I always leave a pin on my items before hand... that way she knows where to cut my pants/ jeans. (they're always too long for me). I also mention to her that there's no rush on my items. She appreciates it! :) read more

Irene and her team provide friendly, professional service.

Toni's Cleaners is the best. Iris is always ready with a smile and knows the name of most of her clients (myself and both my kids too!). Their services are always quick and well done. I have alterations / repairs / ironing / and cleaning done on a regular basis and would not think of going anywhere else. read more

The lady didn't give me an estimate when I dropped off my dry cleaning, and I feared the worst (i.e., a $$$$$$ bill) when I picked it up. But color me pleasantly surprised when she charged me $60 for: 4 sweaters, 3 dress pants, a pair of pants that needed patching at the crotch (yeah...), a pair of pants that I wanted hemmed, and a long-sleeved dress shirt that I wanted to be converted into a short sleeve shirt after blowing a hole at the elbow. And everything was very nicely pressed and creased in the right places. Accepts credit cards and also open on Saturdays from 9am to either 6pm or 7pm (I forgot the closing time she told me....) read more

I love this terrific, customer friendly and reliable place in the Castro! I have been using Toni Cleaners for about a year and have been impressed with their service and reasonable prices. The shirt laundering prices are or less than most other cleaners I have seen in the city (especially compared to my old place in Noe Valley) and the dry cleaning prices are fair. Clothes are always on time and look great. They are also terrific for alterations and I have been very impressed with their reasonable pricing and very high quality. Best of all they are clearly a local-owned business and are always friendly, prompt, and helpful. There seem to be some old reviews with currently inaccurate info: - They DO accept credit cards: Visa or Mastercard as well as cash - Clearly they ARE "accepting new customers" since I just started coming hear in 2013 read more

While my former roommate loved this place, I cannot share the same sentiment. I went on her recommendation the FIRST TIME. She lauded their reasonable rates and extra touches. So, I took my load of dry cleaning to this humble establishment. RESULT: More EXPENSIVE than I anticipated. They are also CASH ONLY. So, I was thankful I am a Bank of America customer and there's an ATM at the California Pacific Davis Campus a few blocks away. My dry cleaned clothing was gross. I understand when it comes to clothing, it's the outside that counts, but it's the inside that lays against my skin. It was the inside of the pants and shirt collars that still had that film of dirt still there. I did take them back, and they did redo them, and they came out clean. So that is why I took my clothing back for a SECOND VISIT. RESULT: This time, the clothing I received appeared clean. However, they did NOT give me ALL of my items. This may be in part to the fact that half were laundered and pressed while the other half was dry cleaned. I'm still awaiting for the call that they've located my shirts. read more

Simply the best laundry/cleaners that I've used in SF. They always remember your name. They don't break buttons. They always get the spot out. They are a great neighborhood business. They are well priced. Genuinely nice people. I've used them for over 10 years at the recommendation of a friend. Everybody that I've recommended them to are still using them. read more

Toni Cleaners is great! They know their customers by name, (repeat customers that is) Reasonably priced, I think the price goes down the longer you stay with them. No ticket necessary. I trust them with my clothes 100%. Thanks Toni and Elaine read more

I have worked through every cleaner in the Castro area- Toni is above and beyond in every way: customer service, attention to detail, great output and like the other reviews state- they always smile and have your laundry in your hand before you even dig for that ticket you don't have in your wallet. The quality of cleaning is far above the other local competitors- they don't claim to do it same day, but what they will hand you 2-3 days later was done properly and professionally. Go Toni!! read more

Yay! They finally accept CREDIT CARDS!!!! They always give me the best service and get my clothes to look and feel just right. Of course, the look and feel of your clothes give the confidence you need. You need a good cleaner - that reasonable and keep you looking fresh and clean. They are my go to cleaners! read more

The woman is friendly and congenial. The prices are very decent. The work is definitely adequate

Love these guys. Always polite, even though I come in with a lot of last minute request. Always do an amazing job on cleaning, pressing, and alterations. Price is always fair. read more

Quick and excellent service. Prices are decent and they do repair jobs too on zippers, etc. Highly rec.

WOW - just wow! This shop is amazing. My zipper broke in my shorts. The repair is impeccable. You can't tell it's been repaired and the new zipper is actually better then the old one. I'll definitely come back. read more

I love this place!!! I needed a couple dresses hemmed, and it was beautifully done, the lady was friendly, and they keep it for you there for up to 3 months which is nice. The total was $35 to take in a couple simple dresses a couple inches. I will be coming here again! read more

I tried to use this place once and my wife twice and all three times it was the same story. After waiting in line we get to the counter and they won't take our clothes. They point to a business card size piece of paper on the counter saying they aren't taking new customers. Not that I believe that but if it's true, why not put the sign in the window so we don't waste our time. Won't be going back which I assume is what they want for what ever reason. read more

I had to leave a review here because Irene at Toni Cleaners went above and beyond to provide customer service this weekend. She's an angel. I dropped off a tuxedo suit and shirt on Saturday morning around 10am for an event that night and she offered same-day cleaning. An exception and a lucky start. Then, after getting caught in traffic heading back from Napa she stayed 45 minutes past closing to make sure I had my clothes for the evening. I couldn't believe it. I'll use Toni's as long as I'm in the neighborhood! read more

Hm.. Not sure what happened with that person in August, but we've brought things here a couple of times in Sept 2011, and they've been super friendly and effective. I'll write more eventually, but just today, they were super accommodating of me coming in a bit late, so I'm extremely grateful! read more

Have been getting my dry cleaning done here for nearly 20 years. The couple that ran the place all that time recently sold. They have worked with the new owners to ensure a smooth transition and all seems to ge going well. I will continue to support this neighborhood business. read more

We've been coming here since we moved into the neighborhood and this place is fantastic. I know most locals patron Toni's for the simple fact their service is great. The owner and staff are very friendly and they provide great service. I believe great dry cleaning service is built on Consistency, and Toni's Dry Cleaning is consistent. Very much recommend! read more

Love these guys. Super friendly, professional, prompt. I once dropped off a dress after a big party - when I came back to pick it up, the woman showed me that some food stains hadn't been totally removed and offered to send it back for another cleaning. I probably wouldn't have even noticed until the next time I wore the dress, so thanks to Toni Cleaners for not only catching it, but offering to make it better. read more

I don't understand the negative reviews for this place. I go here, and my clothes have always been clean. What I like best is that the clothes do NOT have that icky drycleaning smell. They have a lot of regular customers and seem reluctant to take on new customers. read more

I've gone here for almost 2 years for shirt wash & iron and sweater dry cleaning. Helpful service (once I lost my ticket and they diligently looked through the back until they found my clothes), reasonable prices, consistent quality. And their hours are good too--open for most of the day on Saturdays. read more

I have been going to this place to have my dry clean done more than 10+years, this is a family own business, they're friendly people, they will do anything that they can do to help, i bought couple of jackets and needed to shorten the sleeve, they did a great job and looks near the original, i can't even tell the different, and the price is so decent and fair, i will continue to give them my business. read more

I like this place. There are far to many places to take shirts for laundry to go to anyplace you don't like. They are friendly. The shirts come back always done very well and on time. I've used them for over a year. Oh, and if you need a little sewing, they're great for that. Dry Cleaning is a little expensive, but I don't have much of that. Their shirt laundry is mid-range in price. I hate going to the cheapest place and having my shirts come back with creases where they have been all jammed together on the rack. read more

I took a hand made quilt for dry cleaning today. I was doing my laundry next door in the laundrymat. I came back a short time later to the laundrymat and saw my quilt in the washing machine in the laundry. I complained at Toni's, got some bs story. My friend made that quilt and advised me to dry clean it. read more
