I purchase service to clean air duct in my house through Amazon. Amazon order clearly stated that…read moreservice will be performed in my house is less than a certain square foot which my house is. When the technician arrived he refused to do the work unless I pay him double what I had already paid. His reason was Amazon does not allow you to specify any restriction on the number of units, so he has no way of knowing. But the way I see is as an experienced business owner he should know the variables and it's not just limited to home size. And given that he signed up for his service on Amazon just based on square footage he should have followed through his commitment (which is very bad customer service in my opinion). So if you decide to hire him keep in mind that this owner will go back on his commitment

We were hesitant at first about duct cleaning but it was so worth it and we are really happy with…read morethe result. We have a brand new house with a 6month old baby and we were always dusting and dry swiffering because there was so much dust. Our baby room monitor would always say the air quality was poor but ever since we got our duct cleaned it has been good. The whole process took about 3-4 hours and they vacuumed each duct. We found random manuels, wood pieces and screws from inside the vents. We are beyond satisfied with the service and Jeremy was great! They were very professional, quick and kind. Would recommend this to everyone especially if you have w new home and would do it again in about 4-5 years!

It was very hard to decide on a star rating. I don't like star rating to reflect price, but this…read morewas a bit of an unusual situation. My geothermal heat pump stopped working, and I had been told by someone else it was likely a bad capacitor. I could get a replacement for about $20 and install it myself, but if I wasn't careful, could get seriously hurt. So I called the experts. The good: they came quickly (within 2 hours of my voicemail to them), and the work that they did do was (from what I can tell) done well. The bad: it was massively expensive. $538 to replace a $20 40 uF capacitor, that did not fix my problem, and never actually got used. When they called me back, they told me it would be $170 to come out and determine the problem, plus the cost of the repair. OK, I said, figuring it would be a $50-$100 job above the $170 fee. The tech tested the capacitor, and it worked, but was out of specs. He replaced it with a universal capacitor (a $50-$100 part), which had the sole advantage that the tech could test different uF levels. I agreed to replacing that, since it part was out of spec and would need replacing anyways. It did not fix the problem. I was charged $368 for parts+labor for that (above the $170 fee to show up). That's about $250 labor for maybe 15 minutes of labor (he was here for about 45 minutes, but I'd guess about 30 minutes of that should have been covered by the $170 fee to show up and diagnose the problem). They did provide a quote to replace the compressor, but I ended up getting a geothermal company approved by the manufacturer to look at it. This other company had to replace the compressor (which was under warranty), and gave me a replacement 40 uF capacitor at no extra charge, so the fancy universal capacitor was never even got used. Ultimately, I paid over $500 to replace a $20 part, that did not fix my problem. If it had just been the $170 fee to "arrive at residential customers home and determine issue with system", that would be fair: I knew the exact price ahead of time. But an extra $368 above that to replace a $20 part that didn't even require replacement (but was about due for it)? Not cool.
