The shop is odd, because it has a pinball gallery teeming with boisterous kids in the same space, only separated by a partial partition. I was forewarned about this on the phone. There is very little natural light in the shop. Not a pleasant environment for framing art unless you have a kid you need to entertain while you shop for frames. I really liked a particular frame and was given a very high quote, close to $500 for 16" by 20", no mat or glass and 4-5 week turnaround time. I aready have many custom framed pieces and know what costs can be- this was too high. I was able to find the identical frame for half the price elsewhere with a 2-3 week turnaround. I do appreciate that I was shown this frame. I'm not sure if I'd have noticed it on my own. I wish I could give a better review but high prices and slow turnaround are deal breakers for me.

An employee guides me to an aisle, this person was helpful, but when I see the bag I was looking for, it looks like the package has been opened already; the top plastic was cut and it looks like the bag wasn't full (1.5lb bag). I ask the employee and he says ya that seems like it was open. I ask if there's a scale around. He says no. So I take the item to the front, and ask 3 other employees if there's a scale, since it looks opened. They say there is no scale available. I ask the person at the cash register, and she points over to another employee who seems like a manager. This employee wasn't wearing a hobby lobby blue uniform shirt. I show the top of the bag to the employee, and she says, that's how it is. I told her I don't think this is right. I need the powder so I purchase it. When I get home I weight the powder and it's only 1.082lbs when it should be 1.5lbs. I don't want to drive back just for a refund, so I was hoping Hobby Lobby can send me a message for a refund.
