Came to this location to have a poster framed. I have utilized them in the past with good success. I was happy with the results with the poster at hand. Though it did take a bit of time from design to delivery... about a month. A quality job in my opinion with great backing and lifts to make sure the frame sits off the wall, not against it. Would recommend this location if you're needing some framing done. I don't know about affordability, but the pricing for the job done seems reasonable to me.

What a wonderful experience, the staff here is super knowledgeable and their customer service is amazing. We brought a special water color painting of a fish we caught in the keys and the team at Frameworks helped find the perfect frame, mats and color scheme to really make the fish pop with vibrant color. They have an incredible inventory of frames as can be seen in their showroom. Crag and his team are amazing, we can't wait to see the finished product.

This shop does amazing work. We brought in two projects; both involved framing a shirt and a medal that my son won for his mountain bike races. The work was beautiful and far exceed my expectations. They had the shirts very neatly pressed and folded such that pictures on the sleeves were centered and presented within the area of the frame. The pictures best show the quality of the work.

Before the mirror was removed and I applied antiquing film

Craig did some magic for me with some framing. Let me explain. I bought 4 large framed mirrors from Walmart and wanted to place a film over the glass to make them look old. I couldn't get the glass out of the frames without breaking the glass or frames so I took all 4 to Craig and he removed the mirrors without damage. Then I placed the film over the mirrors, returned them to him and he reframed them. Not only that, but he came to my house and hung them perfectly - a tall order to get them all straight considering they weigh 30 pounds each. The hung mirrors look like photos I've seen in Pottery Barn, Wayfair, and Front Gate - all at a fraction of the price. I never could have done it without him!

Love this place, been coming here for over 8 years and been treated amazingly each time. If you want quality and top notch customer service this is the place. My son was in middle school when I got my first piece framed. I had no idea how to frame my art but they made it seem less. Picture attached my then middle schooler interacted with the business fur family.

The experience at Clayton Valley Frameworks went beyond my expectations. Craig went above and beyond to make me a happy customer. First, there are so many unique beautiful frame options at the store. There is no way you will not be able to find something that will enhance whatever it is that you want to frame. The options are endless and way better than the options you will get at some of the national chain stores. Craig went beyond the call of duty. When I got home I noticed some imperfections in my canvas print. I worked along side the artist and with Craig. The artist was stumped (and not local). It was Craig and his knowledge of art that discovered that the print was missing some of the varnish. He had the artist send him a can of the varnish and he applied it to the print and it solved the problem. He easily could have had me apply the varnish since this had nothing to do with the framing. Instead he took it upon himself and solved the problem. Craig is the nicest guy and you will not go wrong visiting the store for your frame needs. The costs are extremely reasonable and even below some of those big chain stores I mentioned above. Plus the frames are way prettier and modern. As an added bonus his dog Bruce is sometimes in the store. Have no fear he is the sweetest dog and will not jump on your or bark. i HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this place!!!

I've had the pleasure of working with Craig and his team numerous times to frame my fine art. Currently having two more done! While it's definitely a bit of a "splurge" that I reserve for the fancier shows, it's always well worth it to frame them in something custom. Of course, I want to add that the prices are very reasonable for the quality and work, and they're always flexible and willing to work around my budget. They're also all very patient and put up with my indecisiveness . Bonus points for having the pup in the office for us animal loving introverts. PS. The museum non-glare glass (or acrylic) is AWESOME. It's pricey, but you'll notice in the photos the paintings are glare free but protected from the elements.

I wish I could give Craig 10 stars. I had a painting that I wanted to frame. I looked on Yelp and saw Clayton Valley Frameworks had great reviews so I took a chance. I can't begin to tell you how great of a decision that was. I had an idea in my head and Craig brought it to life. He has so many different frame options to choose from. It felt daunting, but Craig helped me narrow it down. The finished piece is gorgeous!! Fast forward a few months and I'm redoing my bathroom and wanted to get a custom framed mirror. Craig to the rescue again! With the care amazing customer service Craig provided, I'll be a customer for life.

Friendly, pleasant service, decent selection and adorable shop cat!…read moreThe person who helped me listened and had some interesting options for my oil landscape. The shop is odd, because it has a pinball gallery teeming with boisterous kids in the same space, only separated by a partial partition. I was forewarned about this on the phone. There is very little natural light in the shop. Not a pleasant environment for framing art unless you have a kid you need to entertain while you shop for frames. I really liked a particular frame and was given a very high quote, close to $500 for 16" by 20", no mat or glass and 4-5 week turnaround time. I aready have many custom framed pieces and know what costs can be- this was too high. I was able to find the identical frame for half the price elsewhere with a 2-3 week turnaround. I do appreciate that I was shown this frame. I'm not sure if I'd have noticed it on my own. I wish I could give a better review but high prices and slow turnaround are deal breakers for me.

Scooby-Doo is my personal favorite, it's based on the original running of the show! Rodolfo truly is a joy to work with and is so knowledgable about his craft. Couldn't have pictured (love a good pun) working with anyone else for the first framed piece in our son's nursery. While at a community holiday fare, we bought a super cool piece of art from a local vendor of a map of El Cerrito which includes my husband's work site. It's playful, colorful, and full of joy. After utilizing the Yelp app to find a framing company close by, we found Artistic Picture Framing. After meeting the crew in-person, we knew we were in the right hands. We worked with Rodolfo on choosing the right colors for the piece and chatted about becoming parents, the nursery we were building, and the magic we were hoping to encompass and build around from this staple piece. He captured truly what we were looking for at an affordable rate. Looking forward to utilizing this service for future art, so happy with the outcome!
