He asked me what and how I wanted things to be framed and informed me of the different colors that would match the jersey. At first, the price was higher than I budgeted, but he was able to shorten the dimensions of the frame by readjusting my jersey a bit more to a price I was comfortable with. He also asked if I wanted a name plate to help display the name of the jersey and I agreed with how reasonable that price was as well. Austin was very transparent with the entire process, from how long it takes and what he planned on doing, to the cost of each step of the way. He assisted me in keeping things at a fair budget and I appreciate his customer service and friendliness. I picked up my jersey the other day and I am amazed at how it turned out. The nameplate looked awesome and the jersey is on full display with the signature as well. The worker who finished my transaction was also helpful and showed me the proper way to hang it. Came to this location to have a poster framed. I have utilized them in the past with good success. I was happy with the results with the poster at hand. Though it did take a bit of time from design to delivery... about a month. A quality job in my opinion with great backing and lifts to make sure the frame sits off the wall, not against it. Craig did some magic for me with some framing. Let me explain. I bought 4 large framed mirrors from Walmart and wanted to place a film over the glass to make them look old. I couldn't get the glass out of the frames without breaking the glass or frames so I took all 4 to Craig and he removed the mirrors without damage. Then I placed the film over the mirrors, returned them to him and he reframed them. Not only that, but he came to my house and hung them perfectly - a tall order to get them all straight considering they weigh 30 pounds each. The hung mirrors look like photos I've seen in Pottery Barn, Wayfair, and Front Gate - all at a fraction of the price. I never could have done it without him! read more

The experience at Clayton Valley Frameworks went beyond my expectations. Craig went above and beyond to make me a happy customer. First, there are so many unique beautiful frame options at the store. There is no way you will not be able to find something that will enhance whatever it is that you want to frame. The options are endless and way better than the options you will get at some of the national chain stores. Craig went beyond the call of duty. When I got home I noticed some imperfections in my canvas print. I worked along side the artist and with Craig. The artist was stumped (and not local). It was Craig and his knowledge of art that discovered that the print was missing some of the varnish. He had the artist send him a can of the varnish and he applied it to the print and it solved the problem. He easily could have had me apply the varnish since this had nothing to do with the framing. Instead he took it upon himself and solved the problem. Craig is the nicest guy and you will not go wrong visiting the store for your frame needs. The costs are extremely reasonable and even below some of those big chain stores I mentioned above. Plus the frames are way prettier and modern. I have a 1879 picture of my great-grandparents that is convex in convex glass and a very old oval frame. Both frame and glass were in good shape but backing for picture had deteriorated and it could no longer be hung. I called Clayton Valley Frameworks and they said to come by and show them. They were able to fix it with new secure backing and wire hangers plus a cover on the back too. I saw the owner do the work and he was extremely skilled and did an excellent job. What a great experience! I drove from Martinez and it was worth every drop of high priced gas to get there. The glass on a damaged print nedeed to be replaced. They surprised me by not only replacing the glass, they touched up the damage. You would never know that it had multiple nicks. This print has great sentimental value. I bought this picture in Mexico and really liked it. After I owned it awhile realized the frame quality wasn't as good as the piece of art. So, I took it to have it professionally framed. The woman that helped me was great. She suggested this frame and the matting. All I did was ask to have the glass upgraded. I wish I had taken a picture of the before product to post here, but here is the finished product. When I picked the photograph up, an Uber driver was with me. I don't think he was into art too much. I didn't ask his opinion, but when he saw the framed picture, he said "wow. That is nice". A worker in the store looked at it and said "That is a masterpiece". I am clearly biased but agree with him.
