Came back again and it was still good. Their sauce is still on point. Besides the seafood, I recommend their loaded asada fries and grilled oysters

They will open at new location May 20 (I heard) 11450 SOUTH STREET CERRITOS, CA 90703 ^_^

One of my favorites in Garden Grove. The staff are extremely nice and fast. The place is always clean and well decorated. The food and drinks are always good. Will come back often to support them :)

Service was a bit slow but other than that the food was amazing! Great experience. Lychee martinis were a huge hit. We got shrimp, crawfish, crab legs, sausage and clams. Sides corn and potatoes.

This is a Cajun seafood place that has a variety of food offerings. It is pretty spacious and can accommodate a good amount of customers. Service is attentive. Their food is not bad, though their seafood sauce is a bit lacking. Peeled Shrimp with Cannon Ball sauce 4/5 - They have peeled shrimp! This is a big selling point for those who don't like to peel shrimp shells. The shrimps are also big and juicy unlike mushy shrimps at other places. However, the sauce isn't as good as places I've been to. The Cannon Ball sauce has a strong lemon flavor, almost like it consists of mostly salt and lemon. They just need to tone the lemon flavor down and make it more garlicky and flavorful. Garlic Fries 5/5 - These fries were da bomb. They were super crispy and delicious with garlic and Parmesan toppings. Definitely a must-get!

My food is there and they still didn't give me my food yet.

Food was great but the only complaint I have is ordering from online. If you're a first time online orderer, they will not make your food until you get there which defeats the purpose of a quick pick up. They are so worried about people ditching. But this isn't the first time I've order online. I asked what the ETA was on the phone and they said about 5-10 minutes. I gave them 10 minutes before I left my house and it takes 15 minutes to get here. Told them I have a pickup. Been waiting here for about 10 minutes and they still don't have my order which means they didn't even make my food yet. Btw, my order was 4 lbs of frozen crawfish with 4 corns.

Fantastic restaurant, we were served by angel Megan. she was so nice to us and helped us with figuring out what to order. The clam chowder fries were also fire. Would definitely recommend coming here!!

My friend and I came to visit here for the second time. We got their 3 lb meal deal, sweet potato fries and calamari. Our last server was super nice. He was all smiles and we got the same server. I think his name was John (not quite sure), but service was superb. Idk why it tasted so good but their Shirley temple was amazing! They also offer alcoholic drinks. It's a spacious spot with tons of tables. Surprisingly not as busy for dinner. But it was overall good.

Never thought about orderings a steak at the place it ended up really good. The steak was cooked to the temperature that I wanted. We also got a pound of shrimp y 1/2 pound of sausage. And a side of rice. The meal filling and satisfying

My favorite out of all the seafood boil places. Their wings are so delicious and crunchy. We prefer to do the meal deals and claws has a great one, we usually do lemon pepper fries, baguette, side of rice, shrimp, crawfish and green mussels. King crab legs when we want to splurge. The service is pretty on point, never really had issues. My only issue is that they close too early especially with the bar they have there. Overall 10/10 I enjoy everytime.

My family and I have been coming for years now. This spot NEVER disappoints me. Food is bomb, the service is amazing and being able to watch the games on the many TV's is great. Such a vibe here! And every worker is kind and friendly. You must try! I will definitely be back.

Koko's is a staple restaurant in this area for casual drinking vibes and consistently good food…read more Everything here is made to be good with a beer and some soju. We got the 8pc fried Pepper Soy wings and the Large Dubboki with cheese. The wings are always so good here. They're humongous, crispy, and sauced to perfection. The Pepper Soy flavor was so yummy and umami.   The trick is to get the dubboki so that you can dip the chicken in the sauce. The rice cakes are soft, and the sauce is sweet and spicy. The table also gets sat with a free side salad and pickled radishes, which is a great way to cut the richness of everything. A bite of chicken, a sip of beer, some rice cakes, and a bite of cold radishes really makes the night. Come out to Koko's for a drink, some eats, and a good casual time.

This used to be one of my favorite spots, so it honestly makes me sad to write this…read more They've made a few changes to the menu and pricing. The dukbokki can only have ramen when it's a large. On top of that, cheese is now $4 extra and ramen is $3, which feels a bit steep for add-ons. They also changed the salad sauce--it used to be more on the sweeter side, but now it leans spicier (around a 3/10 spice level, still good), which may or may not be your preference. The biggest issue, though, was the food safety concern. Our order included 8 pieces of fried chicken (4 drumsticks and 4 wings). The drumsticks were fully cooked and fine. However, the first wing piece I bit into was clearly undercooked. Because of that, we did not continue eating the remaining wings--the other three were set aside and later on, discarded into the small trash bin they keep at the table. When I brought it to the staff's attention, they told me the redness was from bone marrow due to a broken bone and that the chicken was fully cooked. However, the bone only broke because I bit into it, and the meat itself was visibly pink. Not just near the bone where bone marrow would be. The actual MEAT was red and pink all throughout. This was not just "marrow." Even zooming into the picture, you can see the meat on both the plate and in my hand was still red and pink. Additionally, the remaining wings were only visually checked by the waiter and were not opened or inspected internally, which would not confirm whether they were fully cooked. This is concerning, as a visual check alone doesn't accurately assess doneness. It also concerns me that, despite not being present, the owner claims his servers point of view as factual, including the claim that all the wings were eaten, which is not accurate. We did not consume the remaining wings after the first one I bit into. Unfortunately, there was no apology from my perspective, simply an "explanation" stating it was bone marrow. And the situation wasn't handled with much concern. I ended up feeling sick and had to go to the bathroom to throw up, which completely ruined the rest of the experience. Overall, I'm really disappointed. Between the price changes, the food safety issue, and the owner's response focusing more on defending the situation rather than acknowledging the concern, I don't feel comfortable coming back.

The auntie was really nice and friendly, she takes orders and brings out food, while the uncle either makes the food or runs the kitchen inside. In terms of food, this is my rating for each dish: Snow Onion Chicken: 4.5/5 Honey Garlic Chicken: 4/5 Corn Cheese: 4/5 Bulgogi/Sweet Potato Pizza: 3/5 I really like the snow onion chicken, it's pretty similar to the one I had in Korea. The honey garlic chicken was also pretty good, but it's not really special since many other chicken restaurants also have it and they taste pretty much the same to me. What I do like is that they didn't use too much batter, so it's crunchy without feeling creasy/oily. The corn cheese has some sweet potato pieces in it, my mom personally likes that. I find the corn cheese to have a little too much cheese, as the cheese was overpowering the corn. Same for the pizza, the cheese was overpowering all of the other ingredients. I honestly was expecting the pizza to be Korean styled, but it's basically American pizza with the meats replaced by bulgogi and sweet potatoes, so that was kinda disappointing. Overall, my family had a good time there, and we really enjoyed the chickens. I'd come back for the snow onion chicken!

Our server asked if we been here before and if we wanted anything else besides water to drink. My brother and his fiance split a full order of the beef ribs and side order of sauteed garlic green beans. My mom and step dad split a full order of beef ribs while I ordered a full rack of baby back ribs which came with two side orders. I picked coleslaw and onion rings which I shared with the family. *** SCAM ALERT *** I…read moredon't use the word "SCAM" lightly, but that's what this was. My adult son called in a $281.62 order off the menu for Mother's Day. They would not accept the order or payment over the phone because the order was "too big." They asked that someone go there and pay up front for the entire order. Since it was the evening before Mother's Day, I drove to them and paid for the order. Yes, I was also presented with a minumum 20% TIP screen, which I declined. When I got there at pickup time (4:00pm) on Mother's Day, the price changed to $325.51. I was told that, for some reason, they had cut about 50% larger portions than the menu specified (see the line items, which should have been 1 lb. each), so they charged me for the difference ($325.51 - $281.62) which was $43.89 (about 50% more for the 2 items they cut heavier). No, there was no mention when I placed the order that the total cost might change due to extra meat. Neither is it shown on their web site or printed menus. When I protested, there was no option. If I don't pay the $43.89 difference, I don't get the Mother's Day food. After about 20 minutes of bickering at the counter with two different clerks (note the time stamp differences on the credit card slips), I was given my original order, with a net price reduction of ($281.62 - $254.93) $26.69. My persistence had paid off. On a positive note, the cook did, twice, walk up to me and quietly apologize for what was going on. I know many folks would have folded in this situation, but that's not my nature. I don't stand for dishonesty. Yes, it was embarrassing, other clients in line were not happy (I let them skip ahead of me so as not to inconvenience them). None of them had price increases. I don't know if the clerks wanted a tip because the management doesn't pay them much, or it this goes deeper and is standard operating procedure that assumes most clients will simply approve of the overage and pay up. In any case, from this client's point of view, this is a SCAM! When it was all over, I took my 11 and 12 year old grandsons (who had been sitting patiently waiting for grandpa to pay) and my food package to the car, drove home and proudly presented the meat to my family. After all, I am a hunter-gatherer; and the food was great!

Called in for an order around 6:30 PM in the evening -- they took down my name and plan was for me to pay at the time of pick up. Got there an hour later (which should be plenty of time considering it was not super crowded) and I'm met with confusion -- apparently they didn't have my order ready so someone at the counter went to the back kitchen. 10 minutes later she comes back, my husband goes to pay and we are told by the young man at the register "oh you're good" as in it's already paid for (which we clearly had not). We looked through the receipt and realized the order they gave us was the wrong order but this other customer shared the same first name. Other locations have asked me for the last 4 of my phone at the time of confirmation to avoid this. It was close to 8 PM at this point and I was so fed up with having to potentially wait for another 20 minutes (assuming my order will not be mixed up again) for them to prepare the food again and being pregnant I just opted to cancel my order and take my business elsewhere because I was so hungry at that point I honestly would have not been able to tolerate another mix up with my food. They offered to take my husband's number to have their manager reach out to discuss the situation but we have yet to hear from them.
