I visited on the weekday early afternoon right before their happy hour which starts at 2 PM. Me and a friend stopped in for lunch after I saw their advertisements on Instagram. They are located in a strip center on the north side of I 10 on Silber Road. It was slow time when we came in. We grabbed a seat and our waitress came over to take out order. She was very informative as to the different options and their menu is somewhat extensive. For happy hour the margaritas were half price five dollars I think so we both had one. We then proceeded to order gumbo, fried rice with wings and Clawdaddy chargrilled oysters. The portions were pretty large. My friend had to bring half of his order home, but I was able to finish the oysters and gumbo which were both very tasty. It seems they have only been open about five months but it's definitely a placed i will return to there are lots of items I want to try out in the future. read more

I ordered the shrimp fried rice and chicken wings and 2 lbs. of crawfish. My crawfish had Chef Z's sauce on them and I ordered them extra spicy. Shrimp fried rice and wings - the fried rice was pretty good. Nothing to complain about there. Wasn't mind blowing but definitely tasty. I was quite disappointed in the wings though. They need a LOT of "help" (aka seasoning). They weren't horrible but they were fried so nicely I expected more flavor and they just didn't have it. For that, I'd give it a 3.5 for what I got with that high azz price ($22.99). Wasn't worth the price unfortunately Crawfish w Chef Z sauce - these were good but the were small and the shells were soft...like most of the ones I had. I suspect these weren't as fresh as they claimed to be but I give Clawdaddy some grace because it's super early in the season and they gotta meet the early demand. I think if they were fresher and we were later in the season, then they would have been phenomenal. Ima give them another chance soon. I give them a 3.75 for now. Servers were just fine. Place was empty but she was very attentive. No complaints there. The place was clean and looked nice. Never went to the bathroom so can't say whether it was clean or not but I suspect it was very clean. Overall I still give the place a 4. My family and I visited this establishment on a Friday afternoon it was packed, we did call before we went no reservation available. Ms. Tina greeted us from the start and we placed our name on a list to be placed on and we waited outside because there's no room inside to wait. It took about 20 minutes to get seated. My husband got a shrimp poboy and shrimp Diablo he said sandwich was delicious bread was toasted to perfection shrimps were well seasoned, shrimp Diablo were good not to spicy. For our son we got kids meal fried shrimp (4) with fries and a kids juice I wish they had a choice of veggies or rice for kids. I ordered the create your seafood boil snow crab cluster I picked chef z's/mild it was bit salty I could taste the tangy citrus we purchased potatoes and corn. They give you a bowl, wet wipes and gloves with the boiled. Our drinks were good I got a strawberry daiquiri it had the right alcohol amount for me not too strong or sweet and my husband got a strawberry lemonade. Place has several tvs on and music (good thing music not to loud). Tina helped us all the way till we left always attentive. Ok I'm a huuuge seafood boil fan and I was looking for a quick easy seafood boil nearby so I found this place. Overall - super overpriced for the quality and flavor. I've never been here, so I wasn't sure how to order. The menu only gave us 3 options of seafood boil combos and said "market price". So we chose the smallest one (the menu said feeds 2-3 people) which we knew was too big for us but we didn't know any better. Well it ended up being $90. So it's one of those places where you don't know what you're getting or paying for which I don't like and I think that's a bad sales tactic. They know what they're doing. Anyway let's get to the food - we got the zaddy sauce medium. The sauce wasn't right, it didn't coat the seafood well, it fell off, it was bland, I didn't get the good Cajun flavor, and it seemed really garlic-y and was basically just garlic with some watery substance. But then...the shrimps were not deveined... like $90 and I'm eating poop and they won't do the work to devein it? That's unacceptable. The fried mushrooms that came with it weren't great either. Clawdaddy just opened my friend highly recommended this place so my wife and I went to try king crab. We ordered 2lbs and garlic butter noodle. The king crab was super fresh and had lot of meat inside. It was bit challenging cracking the thick thorny crab shells, but other than that the sauce (House Special) was very delicious. The restaurant was newly opened and the waiter wsd super nice in how we can order the menu. Basically you choose the seafood by the pound and you pick the sauce and the spicy level and lastly add the options (we added potatoes and sausage). Inside was super chill and clean and each table was covered with the paper, so people can just lay everything on the table to eat.
