We were passing by Houston on the way home and were looking for a crawfish spot. We found this place on YELP and it didn't disappoint. We ordered 5lbs of crawfish and got 1 lb free. The extra items were all separate which is the only reason I'm giving four stars. The extra items added up for just two people to eat. The recommend house spice was delicious. The crawfish were made fresh and the food came out hot. Can't wait to go back for crawfish.

LORD HAVE MERCY! This place slaps... period. The crawfish is fresh, the spices are packed with flavor and not overbearing. I wanted to order everything on the menu but I was so full. Will be returning for more!

Ordered Crawfish Fried Rice and Crawfish with Zaddy Sauce to go. The crawfish were tasty but small, I was told it is still early in the season. Unfortunately, there were a handful of inedible mushy ones. Fried rice was meh on its own but there was a sauce in the box that made it pretty tasty. Service was good. It's a family friendly dining.

I've been to this establishment twice and had their blue crabs both times which were flavorful. crabs were big and meaty. We got about two crabs per pound. Personally, I prefer the house special over the claw daddy sauce but I haven't tried the other two. I've also had their crawfish, which was tasty and full of flavor. They're generous with the truffle garlic butter fries and Parmesan fries and they both meet expectations but it's nothing spectacular. I enjoyed the garlic butter noodles. Excellent service. Staff members are friendly, quick and attentive. They returned to check on us many times to clear the seafood shells and refill our drinks. They packed our crawfish to go for us with bibs, gloves and multiple bags there was no spillage and the car did not smell of Cajun seafood. When I went on the weekend, there was a 30 minute wait and when I went on a weeknight, there was no wait. Restaurant and restroom are clean.

Grilled oysters were ok... I would have liked them cooked d a bit longer. The garlic noodles were good, small portion for the price though. They margarita was good. Food took a while to come out. Ambiance was clean. Would I visit again?... probably not.

Traveling 1,000 miles from Greensboro, NC to Houston, TX just to go to Clawdaddy might sound crazy but it was worth every mile. The seafood was packed with flavor, the frozen watermelon Jolly Rancher daiquiri was so refreshing, and that Michelada with its tangy spices kept me sipping nonstop. Now I'm home and already craving it again. Clawdaddy isn't just a restaurant, it's an experience. Oh, the staff's warmth and hospitality made the entire visit unforgettable. RECOMMENDED!

I was born in Texas, raised in Louisiana, and worked at several Cajun restaurants. Been in the restaurant industry in general for 10 years. These are my credentials since anyone can just leave reviews nowadays. TLDR: Clawdaddy has great food, reasonable prices, and tasty daiquiris with exceptionally diligent service. I brought my girl here because she's never experienced Viet-Cajun style seafood, nor has had fried fish before. Not to mention she's the pickiest eater in the entire world and simply can't be bothered to eat at times-- I had to make sure where we were going was good. Clawdaddy was perfect. The fried fish is Swai, a problem for some maybe, but to me still a tender, flakey fish that's easy to eat, especially because my girl doesn't like anything "fishy." The batter was crisp and crunchy at the edges, not cornmeal which in my opinion is too grainy. She came back for more which is a huge win in my book. The fries they serve with it are the battered kind, not too thick nor thin with the fluffiest potato inside and also crunchy and crispy. Definitely recommend the fried seafood options. Now the real star-- the crawfish and snow crabs. We went with the Zaddy sauce, which is a combination of the House Special (garlic, butter, Cajun seasoning) and Chef Z's (tangy citrus, garlic butter, Cajun seasoning blend). Mild because my girl will cry if she sees a grain of pepper. There's a lotttt of garlic so if you don't like garlic or you're on a first date or maybe you're just a vampire that's into Cajun food, maybe not opt for this one. It was tasty, but maybe it's the way America has built me but the foundational flavor wasn't as pronounced as I would've liked it. Not a super big deal, but I think I'll go for the house special and dry seasoning instead for more saltiness next time. Blood pressure going up on a Tuesday kind of vibe. The crawfish itself is for sure live. Incredibly juicy and succulent, and for those who aren't able to tell-- simply crack the claw open, and taste the meat. It should be tender, moist, and not at all dry. I felt like the butter must've seeped into the claws somehow considered how juicy they were. Crawfish right now is on the medium size and priced at $9.99/lbs as of February 2025. Now the snow crabs. God, the snow crabs were amazing. Everything the crawfish was, the snow crabs were as well and so much more. Tender, succulent, and the meat was sweet and just perfect. My girl tried it for the first time and agreed that it was wonderful. I'm so damn happy she got to experience snow crabs the way they're meant to be enjoyed. Besides the food, we also got daiquiris, and my girl particularly enjoyed the strawberry. Sweet, ice cold, what more could you ask for to combat the high blood pressure and cholesterol. Alan (Allen?) was our server and he's great. Informative, attentive, quick to remove trash from our table as well as get our refills without checking up on us too much. Definitely knows how to feel out the vibes of his guests. The owner's sister was also equally attentive, and having not initially known her title beforehand, I leaned in and whispered to my girl that she was probably the manager given the work she was putting in. Some managers sit behind the register and call it a day, but Ma'am was helping clear tables, engaging with the customers and asking how everything was, ensuring we get refills whenever the other servers were busy. Incredible team effort, and I definitely see it and respect it. That's how you know they care about their establishment, and that's when there's true value in supporting a small business. Thank you Clawdaddy, we'll be back!

Bring your appetite! We had the friend mushrooms and pickles for appetizers. We ordered a meal for four and had food left over. Potato's were great. Corn was great. The only thing I didn't care for was the sausage. Portions are big. Service was great. They also have multiple TVs and the Astros game on.

OK, so my boyfriend and I went here last night and we ordered a bunch of stuff. We literally ate everything besides our fried rice. I took the fried rice home because we were stuffed and we cleared everything but the fried rice because we didn't have any room left in our tummies.. BUT!!! The food was really good and fresh. All the ladies serving us were very nice. There are TVs and music playing. It's a clean restaurant. I will definitely come back. Did not disappoint at all!! we left with our tummies full! Please don't come here and complain about the service or your food coming out slow. It's literally because they're cooking it fresh!! They don't have their stuff already premade so it takes a little longer so if you're fine with that, I think you will really like this place!!

Stopped in with the family, and im glad we did. We tried the crawfish with the daddy sauce and seafood fried rice and chicken The crawfish had a nice flavor and decent flavor . The wings were crispy and delicious with duck sauce. Trust me, ask for duck sauce. The rice had good flavor. I liked the sauce they gave on the side. Service was great the staff is really personable. The prices are decent. I mean, all seafood is high right now.

They NEVER answer their phone, EVER... it's always a hassle trying to order. You're better off going in person and waiting half an hour for your food instead of calling ahead. *wanted crawfish which isn't on their online menu that is why I didn't just place the order online* 3rd separate occasion being disappointed with the same issue.

We love Clawdaddy!! The food is always spot on and the service is second to none. The restaurant has a great vibe to it. The staff is so attentive. I got the boiled snow crab and shrimp in the Mama's sauce. So. Good. The hot Cheeto boudin ball & fried rice were absolutely perfect in every way.

Something simple that should be an easy win. Unfortunately, everything leaned the same direction: either it was heavy, over-sauced, or overly garlicky. It tasted more like dressed-up frozen food than something thoughtfully prepared. And listen...I don't mind indulgent. But there still has to be balance and fresh food. Fresh like it was raw and delivered today, not fresh like fried in the last 15 mins. When everything is coated, covered, and competing, nothing actually stands out. The drinks didn't help either. They leaned hard on alcohol without much flavor behind them--more "this will get you there" than "this tastes good." Nothing was terrible. But nothing made me want another bite, either. And with seafood, that's kind of the whole point. The atmosphere is friendly, great music, and the service was very attentive. Even the presentation wasn't bad. It just wasn't enough. But at some point, you stop asking what's missing and just accept that it's not landing. I was still hungry so I went next door hoping for a better experience. I want to be clear: It's not bad. It's just not working.

I wasn't sure what to expect based on the name of the restaurant, but essentially their seafood options are spectacular. And it feels like an exclusive club because the decor and service are both very much high class and special. We tried the coconut shrimp as the appetizer and really liked it. It was lightly fried and the shrimp was cooked to perfection - not under and not over. I would highly recommend this one to start. Loved it. If you're looking for a fair-priced meal, they have lots of salad and sandwich options. I tried the salmon poke bowl and it was so delicious. The fish was extremely fresh, and all the flavors blended together really well. It was like a healthy party in my mouth. It was great decision. You wanna splurge a bit and live large like YOLO? You gotta get the crab cake. Now, how good can a crab cake be? Well, if you're paying close to $50 for one crab cake, you better believe it's gonna be freaking awesome. And alas, it was. Best crab cake I've ever had in my life, no joke. And I've tried a lot of crab cakes in my many decades of dining out. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant and will be coming back many times. Enjoy! Quick note on parking - plenty of parking in a huge lot shared by many businesses such as Kenny and Ziggy's. Only annoying part is several sections of the lot are designated for specific businesses, so just look for the signs and be willing to park a little bit further away towards Taco Deli and Bluestone.

We went on a Saturday for lunch. Hopefully this was just a one-off, but if you're looking for good Cajun boiled crawfish, this is not it. We started off with 6 lbs (group of 4) of their regular crawfish. First off, they put the Cajun seasoning on outside/shell (!!), which is a cardinal sin for Cajuns. They also minimally seasoned the boil, so the meat was lacking salt and flavor. We ordered 3 more lbs with the "wet sauce" (garlic butter), thinking the lack of flavor may be attributed to this being the first-ish batch of the day. Nope, the second batch was even less seasoned than the first. The sauce was good, but it didn't make up for the unseasoned meat. The crawfish were a good size, at least...
