TRUST ME! everything here is sooooo delicious I don't like too much the fish, but with the "Chicharrones de tilapia" crunchy and flavorful you can't imagine that is fish With the "Mariscada" I highly recommend the "Centroamerica" is made with coconut milk Writing this post make feel hungry again haha Tania is amazing girl, she was very sweet and the service was great, not just from her, from everyone. You have to visit this place!!

They graciously accommodated my request for steamed oysters even though it wasn't listed on the menu, which was truly appreciated. I also got to sample the shrimp chowder -- absolutely delicious! Loved the historical nature of the restaurant and thought it might have been associated with a Christie's seafood that was in San Antonio many years ago. It was not... :( Nice place! Cool surroundings and nice tables and decor. We got here early and got a table. Nice people and good service! Food was just OK. Crab dipper appetizer was OK. Crab tasted a little old. Bread and butter were good as were the salads. My son got the Salmon which was pretty good (came with dirty rice that was alright. My wife had the whol Branzino prepared Greek style, and it was good, but not great (maybe a little overdone). Our sons neighbor recommended the "Christie's pride" and that is what I got. It was... interesting. The seafood dressing was kind of odd and a bit pungent. It was, as I said, interesting. Looking back the waiter maybe hinted to not get that, but I came in here to try it. Kind of a let down, but there was a big menu so assuming other dishes are better. The main disappointment is that prices were steep! The 3 dishes we had plus appetizer was $150 (No drinks... no dessert)! Would have been a fair price if we all thought the food was amazing. But at best it was "pretty good" Like I said/ lots going for it but no plans to return...

I got the Reza #3, chicken is super juicy and the charred taste was smoky and fresh. The beef was grounded but very juicy as well. The flavor is well balanced, came with a side of salad, it was little too vinaigrette for me but my boyfriend loves it. He got the Reza #2, chicken was mostly breast I think so was more dry, but still tasted great with the hummus. Overall, the experience was pleasant and we will be back again. Service was fast and friendly, they offered complimentary hot tea at the end too, was very fragrant and refreshing after a homey meal. Interior was nicely decorated in a modern vibe, simple and aesthetic. Parking is ample. I also saw a lot of people ordering their mint lemonade, which I will try next time! Seems like it's so popular

The ambiance was spacious and well lit, but began to get loud once the dinner crowd started arriving. Their menu is pretty straight forward and very informative for someone who isn't familiar with Persian food. Everything we ordered just tasted fresh and well seasoned. - kashke bademjan (sautéed eggplant with garlic, yogurt, mint). Paired well with their special bread topped with sesame seeds (yum!) - mix stews (half ghormeh sabzi and half gheymey bademjan). Get the best of both stews if you can't decide on one. Love this option. - Reza 4 specialty (lamb chop, kubideh, chicken, with cranberry rice and Persian salad). Large portion, easily for 2-3 people. Lamb chops were my favorite. I honestly enjoyed and would highly recommend coming here. The staff were quick, friendly, and efficient. Parking lot wasn't overwhelmingly packed. I will definitely return. Thank you, Reza!!

They cook the bbq in front of you and the other dishes are brought to you cooked. I would say it's better to come here with a group of people. The inside is a modern up to date kbbq place. They have a lunch menu or you can you the combo of meat options. They load you up on the side dishes and you even get a soup of your choice. I thought the sides tasted great and i got the tofu soup and it was flavorful and came out piping hot. I tried the prime beef small combo which had marinated rib eye rolled beef, beef short ribs, and beef brisket. I loved the marinated rib eye.. the other meats aren't marinated so they were a bit bland. They do give you sauces on the side but I don't think those type of sauces were the best. I also tried the spicy rice cakes and they were delicious and had so much flavor to them. It's probably one of the best I've had. The best part about this place is probably the aesthetics in which they come out with the meat with dry ice and it just looks so nice to watch and again they cook in front of you.

The galbi was good but the meat was on the tougher side. The soft tofu soup, both seafood and beef were lacking flavor and had a slightly weird after taste. Maybe I need to come back for the actual kbbq but if a restaurant has these menu items as an option they should all match in quality and flavor. I would not dine here again but the good service was definitely memorable.

Having said that, one would say that I'm a Crawfish whisperer In the past I've always waited until they are big enough to even take the time to eat the flesh out of the claws, and that time is NOW, when the NBA playoffs are in full swing... For years I have called Bayou City Seafood around this time to ask what size they are, and this year was no different. I trust them to be honest with me, and they always are. So, if you either love crawfish or if you have always wanted to try them, there's no place in the city that's better. We go at 6:30 and sit at the bar. I order three pounds, which sounds like a lot but the tail has all the meat. Corn and potatoes are extra and the Boudin as an appetizer is fabulous. BTW, one of their craft beers is the perfect pairing. The service is excellent and our waitress at the bar was new, friendly, and very accommodating. I can't imagine a better experience eating great tasting crawfish at a better restaurant than Bayou City. If you go, go now, and look for me at the bar I crawfish!!! Don't forget to 'suck the heads'! It's not the brains you're sucking, it's just the juices from the fat and the crawfish boil.

For example the crab bisque had an acidic taste to it and it didn't smell right. The crawfish etoufee was good but the roux could have been deeper for a more hearty flavor. My son had the fried oysters and he loved it. My husband ordered the seafood platter and found the crab cakes to be inedible. My mom is a scallop lover and was excited about her entree. The best part of her dish was the sauteed spinach. As for the restaurant itself, it's very clean and the noise level is pleasant.
