Came with friends for restaurant week! The service was great, very kind and helpful, suggested some great menu items. The food comes in large portions and sooo flavorful, we all three ate and still had plenty for left overs, the ambiance is actually VERY nice and quant would definitely come back and visit
First time and I absolutely love the food here. By far I would say this is the best Persian food I ever had. I got the Reza #3, chicken is super juicy and the charred taste was smoky and fresh. The beef was grounded but very juicy as well. The flavor is well balanced, came with a side of salad, it was little too vinaigrette for me but my boyfriend loves it. He got the Reza #2, chicken was mostly breast I think so was more dry, but still tasted great with the hummus. Overall, the experience was pleasant and we will be back again. Service was fast and friendly, they offered complimentary hot tea at the end too, was very fragrant and refreshing after a homey meal. Interior was nicely decorated in a modern vibe, simple and aesthetic. Parking is ample. I also saw a lot of people ordering their mint lemonade, which I will try next time! Seems like it's so popular
Reza was a delightful Persian grill that we randomly came across on a Saturday late afternoon. We were seated right away and their table already has a plate of their fresh herbs (Sabzi Khordana) waiting for you. The ambiance was spacious and well lit, but began to get loud once the dinner crowd started arriving. Their menu is pretty straight forward and very informative for someone who isn't familiar with Persian food. Everything we ordered just tasted fresh and well seasoned. - kashke bademjan (sautéed eggplant with garlic, yogurt, mint). Paired well with their special bread topped with sesame seeds (yum!) - mix stews (half ghormeh sabzi and half gheymey bademjan). Get the best of both stews if you can't decide on one. Love this option. - Reza 4 specialty (lamb chop, kubideh, chicken, with cranberry rice and Persian salad). Large portion, easily for 2-3 people. Lamb chops were my favorite. I honestly enjoyed and would highly recommend coming here. The staff were quick, friendly, and efficient. Parking lot wasn't overwhelmingly packed. I will definitely return. Thank you, Reza!!
I had lunch here a few weeks ago for the first time. My party was promptly seated and after reviewing the menu I chose L4 which is the lamb shank for $17. The meal arrived in less than 15 minutes later and looked great on the plate. A big lamb shank served with basmati rice, dill and fava beans and it was a very good tasting meal. The meat was juicy and tender and rice and beans equally as good. Also at that price point, it was a real value. We all enjoyed our meals and the table service was very good too. I would be happy to come back.

We also got a hummus to pair with it. I got the Reza specialty 2 and my gf got the Reza specialty 3, and we both really liked what we ordered. The ground beef kebab was our favorite, and we want to try the lamb next time. Highly recommend
It's been awhile since I've had Reza, as always the R2 completes my lunch or even dinner. You got the Beef Koobideh and the Chicken Barg with their Cranberry Rice and Hummus. Of course the complimentary bread with their cheese and herbs and their Persian tea always is a nice touch.
I love this restaurant! The chicken is perfectly made and seasoned to perfection. Their ghameh was also very delicious. Everything they have is delicious. This Persian restaurant is ranked top 5 in my list of favorite Mediterranean restaurants.
I didn't get the rice with the cranberries in it because I just prefer a plain rice, but the meat I got was perfectly seasoned and cooked well. The cubed chicken and the koobidah were both great. The tandoori bread was awesome, and the mint drink was good as well. The décor inside is beautiful and trendy, but also looks timeless. I would return.
I really liked the food, especially in the koobideb was fantastic. They also serve kotlet, which is one of my favorite dishes and not commonly found in any other restaurant. The homemade bread also tasted fantastic, and the service was top-notch. Pricing is also great.
This year has been challenging for me, and I finally started going to restaurants and doing other outdoor activities. February 2026 to August 2026, I learned a lot about health and well-being. Persian and all kinds of Mediterranean food are always my top three choices. I am surprised that I missed Reza all this time. This time, we picked up because of the weekdays (late work hours), but I usually like to sit down at the restaurant and enjoy my food coming straight from the kitchen to my table. We decided to order a family tray (all kinds of kabobs) for 4 people. I also ordered my favorite Mast-e-khair (yogurt with cucumbers). We asked for sherazi salad and other sides, but our wonderful hostess Jennifer and Sheema told us this order comes with side dishes, including rice and bread. I like their smiles and kind gestures. When they told me the total price, I was shocked; it was so affordable for 4 people, and the serving sizes are huge. We are very happy to have found a place like Reza Persian Grill, with delicious food, kind service, and great prices--highly recommended, and with a big parking lot. read more
We came here with our friend who recommended this Persian restaurant. We enjoyed the complimentary flatbread and feta. The bread paired well with the hummus we ordered as the bread was dry on its own. For my entree, I got the Zereshk polo & chicken. Unfortunately, I really did not like the berries as they had an unusual odour and taste to them. I tried to remove them from the rice, but the rice still had the unpleasant taste of the berries. I liked the chicken in the tomato-based sauce as it was fragrant and very tender. My vegetarian friends weren't impressed with their entree either. They had a lot left over but only took the plain rice home. The service wasn't very attentive as they didn't fill our empty water jug of unfiltered tap water until we asked after we were done eating. Our group was five people, and they charged a mandatory 20% tip. The server didn't inform me when paying, which felt sneaky. I also didn't see it on the menu. Tipping is supposed to be for service, and the service was subpar. After mandatory tip, my meal was $20. read more
For me, the debate is settled. Avesta is the Top Dog, but Reza did come strong with a silver. Beef Koobideh. 5/5. Succulent juicy skewers of beef kabob. Tender. Enjoyed it with salad. Combo platter 3. 4.5/5 Beef skewer with Cornish hen. Served with FF and salad. Very good. Couple pieces of chicken in the end were burnt Hummus. 4.5/5. Also delicious. Smooth creamy texture. Kashke B. Eggplant. 5/5 Rich creamy texture. It was pretty good. Mint lemonade. 5/5. I actually ordered 2. Since the first was so refreshing and thirst quenching. I had to go for seconds. Their Naan was actually better than Avesta. It just had a better flavor and texture to it. Service was excellent. Our server was attentive and friendly. There was plenty of seating inside. #NAZC2024 I've been enjoying Reza for years--whether it's dining in, takeout, or catering for parties! Their service is consistently amazing, from the owner to the wait staff--always friendly and accommodating. Their restaurant has plenty of seating, is simply decorated, and has plenty of parking. Recently, I was blown away by their generosity. Thank you, Reza, for donating a fantastic meal to our NAZC Event! The chicken kabob was packed with flavor, the beef kabob was perfectly juicy, and the rice brought everything together beautifully. My party of 3 got the combination platter to share and it was tremendous. It is fairly pricey but the amount of food that comes with it is worth the money since it typically serves 4 people. There are also appetizers of salad and naan bread with your choice of dips. We decided to go with hummus and eggplant, which were both delicious. Close parking to the restaurant can be difficult to find since the parking lot is not the biggest but if you don't mind walking a small distance then it should not be a problem. The restaurant itself is brightly lit and there are many tables available and was completely packed when my friends and I went. The service was okay and our food came out fairly quick despite how busy it was. It bothered me that workers were trying to take plates off our table before we were finished eating and we felt rushed towards the end of our meal to finish eating so we just took the rest of our food to-go. read more

Delicious authentic persian food! Came with friends and got the R4 - mix of grilled meats: ground beef and chicken seasoned well and very tender, comes with flavorful rice and side of hummus. Great with the bread 5/5 highly recommend, great portion and price. Service was a little hard to get a hold of sometimes, we wanted more bread/water a few times and it took a while before someone could get back to us The inside is pretty and well lit, a little crowded but busy for the right reason! read more
Absolutely fantastic! A+ -The kubideh was thick, juicy,and flavorful. -The eggplant appetizer was smokey and delicious! - Their bread was thick and fluffy. Much larger than most! -they provided us with plenty of fresh herbs, large chunks of feta cheese, cucumbers, radishes, and onions. We live in Austin and relatives brought it for us. It was great! I stumble upon this gem by accident. With not knowing where to eat and not doing any research I just winged it since I saw there was a lot of people dining inside. That's a good sign. This restaurant is located in big shopping center with plenty of parking. I went there on a Wednesday night, it was half full. Food quality was great. I perfected lamb soltani, Persian hot team and Persian ice cream. Overall great experience. read more

Met up with my uncle to try out Reza Persian Grill in Houston. One of my Persian friends at school recommended this place and they swear by it. The parking lot was packed and the restaurant is also very big inside. We both ordered off their specialty platters. We didn't realize how loaded these platters would be so we honestly should just ordered one and shared it. I got the mahicheh (lamb shank) which was served with saffron basmati rice mixed with dill and fava beans. My uncle got the Reza 4 specialty platter, which included lamb chops, chicken tender, ground beef served with cranberry rice and Persian salad. They start you off with complimentary bread, which we bought hummus to dip with. The bread was so soft and was very good paired with the hummus. They also replace the bread if you finish it. My lamb shank later came out and the plate was huge. The lamb shank was sooo tender it literally fell off the whole bone. I don't know if I was eating it correctly but I was dipping the meat in the broth and chased it with rice. The lamb chops were very good. They had a plentiful amount of meat and fat, though they were a bit too over-charred for me personally. The chicken was good and juicy but if you don't eat it when it comes out it'll dry up. The beef, however, was my favorite bite of the night. The beef was flavored soooo well and was very tender. I did what my friend recommended and took some of the bread, slapped on some hummus and mints, with some meat and veggies, and wow it was like an explosion of flavors. I loved the grilled onions and tomatoes as well. The tomato is basically just a ball of juice. We both were only able to finish half our plates and had tons of food left over to take home. This place is so good and the specialty platters are insane value. I definitely want to try more Persian restaurants in Houston, their food is so flavorful read more
We can't stop craving. We can't stop coming back. Thankfully, it won't break the bank to do so, AND I get a luxurious dining experience every time. You could never tell from the outside, but the interior has such a high end, modern feel. All the tableware is beautiful, they furnish the tables with fresh flowers, and generally just want to make you feel like you've been transported to a luxe spot in downtown. I am so impressed. Likewise, we have only ever gotten kind, enthusiastic, and attentive service. The chicken is so juicy and flavorful. The beef is melt in your mouth amazing. The hummus somehow got even better since the last time we visited. The lamb shank meat was falling right off of the bone. The rice (Persian rice) was sweet and fragrant. The lima bean and dill rice was such a lovely light pairing to the lamb. Bottomless, fresh, crispy naan you cant stop eating. What more can I say. My mouth is watering as I'm typing. On the practical side of things: In the evenings, and especially on weekends, Reza gets busy with big families - amazing sign, right? Take this into consideration, but we have never had an issue. You can reserve ahead, if needed. Parking is plentiful so there's no need to worry about that when you're on your way to the restaurant. All around, I just can't recommend it enough. We plan to come back with all our family members so we can order more platters and stuff ourselves full! read more
I got Door dash around 7:08 and it arrived a little before 8 but I think might be due to confusing address. anyway my combo beef and chicken kubideh is very tasty. next time i call in an order and myself pick up, i will ask for extra roasted onion and tomato. The only thing to get thumbs down is the herb plate. The only herb is Mint. Next included were the cheese, radishes, and walnuts. I would not order herb plate again. the bread is soft and fluffy. the baklava looks good and is bigger sized - have not tasted yet. read more
