Went in couple of weeks ago to tint my G37... Lance is a cool dude. He gave me the complete run down of the various films he carries, differences between each (cost and functionality), etc. He didn't push any brand or shade, just gave me the facts and left it up to me to decide. Ended up going with 3M Color Stable, 35% all the way around. I live down the street so left the car and came back next to pick up... he even gave me cold bottle of water! Tint looks and works beautifully. However, noticed that at night, there is a glare along the rear defroster lines when driving at night. Mentioned it to Lance... he listened, checked it out but could not find a solution for it. He said although not common, some cars with flat rear windshield angles can have this glare issue. He said he'll research more and get back to me with a solution when found. Thus, 4-stars for now since its a great shop, quality is good, and he listened to my "complaint" patiently but the defroster glare is quite bothersome and wasn't mentioned before the work... will upgrade to 5-stars if a solution is found. read more

Got my car tinted this week and I could not be happier. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Lance is probably a cooler guy than all the reviews make him out to be. Jesse is not to be outdone; funny guy in his own right. Initially the price might scare some people off, as well as the time, but once you see the care and detail that goes into tinting a car right, you will understand. I got the Suntek CXP 25% all around and 55% on the windshield. The new 25% is a perfect shade between 35 and 18. 35% looks too light in the day and 18% is too dark at night. 25% allows for privacy in the day, and no difficulties at night. I thought the windshield sounded too dark, but checking out Lance's truck with the same thing, it's barely noticeable. It was waaaaaaay worth it. One can hardly tell by looking at the windshield it is tinted, but after a hot/sunny day my car's temp is significantly lower. The windshield is the largest window on a car. Do yourself a favor and don't be scared or skimp on getting the windshield tinted. read more

Just an update - I posted my last review in 2012. I had my windows tinted in 2008. It is now 2016... 8 years later and the only thing that's happened to my tint over the years is I made a few tiny dings in the driver's side window with my keys upon entering/exiting the vehicle. There is not a single bubble or discoloration issue AT ALL. I sincerely couldn't be more stoked on this investment. Superb job, I can't wait to get my new car later this year and take it straight to Classic even though I no longer live in Orange County. They truly have me as a customer for life. read more

I got a gift certificate for my husbands new "girl" his 2020 Hellcat. The person (forgot his name) helped me decide what the appropriate amount to gift would be, which helped me a lot. Customer since 2009 and I will be till the day I stop owning a car. lol. I purchase a ticket insurance on 2009 from this shop. I think it was 60-80ish. And basically is free removal, and 20.00 to reapply. (Paying for tint, the labor is included in the insurance) And I am getting my money's worth! I was cited for front window tints 5 times over the past 3 years. I have the worst luck sad to say. Anyways I would get my tint remove and reapply on the same day! Luckily there is a CHP office near this place so I can get the ticket signed off, and Lance is pretty flexible with scheduling if you call a couple days ahead. Great speedy and friendly service! Also I live about 35 miles from this place! There is many tint place near San Gabriel but it just can't beat this place. read more

Great price and great service! They were able to give me some solid advice on choosing the right colored tint to match my black Mustang. Took most of a Saturday to get the job done because it was one of their busy days, but it is worth it. I did notice an issue a few months later with some contamination with my back window. They provide a life time warranty, so I was able to bring it back in and get it fixed no questions asked. Also the owner personally gave me a ride to my place and back to pick up my car. Don't do the groupon deals with other locations, and go with this place where you can get it done right away for about the same price. read more

Summary: I came in on recommendation from a friend at work, and was thoroughly impressed when all was said and done. These guys did a bang up job on my '12 GTI. Curved hatch glass in one piece came out great! I came back today for a noticeable imperfection on one window that I felt I couldn't live with. They gave a look, and decided to replace the film to make sure I walked out satisfied. Detail/Opinions: Called in for a quote and Lance asked what I was looking for, and I did specify that I wanted something a bit premium since I plan on having my car for a while. Gave me the quick version, and then I stopped in for the full run through and he helped me decide what I wanted. Set up an appointment and came in to get it done early, hung out 'cause I had nothing better to do. Comfy couch and a bit of good car talk helped pass time. Guy stopped in while I was waiting and I could tell he was trying to low-ball the shop into giving him a deal. Said he was misled into a cheaper quote and the shop was trying to up-sell him once he was in. Matter of opinion here, but the guy drove a pretty premium car, I think Lance was just trying to suggest something he'll be happy with in the long run. When you're calling in for a quote and don't specify what you're looking for, of course the shop's going to tell you their starting price; which, by the way, is a good tint. It's not the best, but it's good. Anyway, guy walked out angry with no reason to be. At least half a dozen other people came in during the 2 hours I was there and they all got straight answers, good advice, good service, and all left happy or planned on coming back to get the job done with these guys. Just got my windows tinted by Lance and his crew. They were all super courteous and they did a great job on my car for a reasonable price. They work by appointment so they got my car in right away. They have a nice waiting room with wi-fi so I thought about hanging out and getting work done. I recently was here to tint my front windows because I had chose not to the first time around. They did a great job of matching my previous tint with the new tint. I just had my car windows tinted here today and am very happy with the quality of work and the service provided by the owner, Lance and his crew. I'm from the bay area and all my cars were tinted from bay area businesses. Of course I did not know any vendors here in Orange County. I researched businesses in Yelp and decided to give Classic Window Tinting a try due to their high reviews and location. Once I arrived, I was treated very kindly and Lance was very nice to my 3 daughters. He also has daughters which is why we had that "fatherhood" connection. I was given the tinting options and decided to go with the 3M brand since I previously used that before and was happy with the quality. I waited for a few minutes before they finished a car that they were already working on when I arrived. I was told that the service would take two hours so I just sat in the lobby letting my daughters finish their homework. My appointment was at 3pm, they actually started on my car around 3:30pm and at least 3 techs were doing the work. By 4:30pm which was only 1hr from their start time, my car was finished. So far so good, I'm very happy with the work and can only praise them for their service and very fair prices. Thanks again and if anyone wants to tint their cars, give Classic Windows Tinting a try. Great customer service! Called ahead and got a quote for $175 for my Subaru Impreza. Lance was very helpful in helping me pick out the tint specific to my needs. I ended up getting the higher quality film and my total came out to $250. I didnt have an appointment, so I was told the sooner i drop my car in the better, and he would have it done by the end of the day. However, it did take a tad longer than expected (picked my baby up at 6:30...30 minutes after closing). Overall, great tint job so far and an excellent, friendly staff. read more

I got my windows tinted on my 2008 mustang back in October 2015. 70% on the front windshield and 35% on both driver and passenger windows. It is April now and there has been no wear or sign of damage. Still loving them but I deducted one star because the application fluid stained the black plastic on the interior of my car. My friend also has this issue with his car after getting a tint job here. I highly recommend the business and Lance but just be sure to check for milky spots after it is done. read more

By far the best window tint I have ever had on any vehicle I've owned. Most of my previous tint installations installed from other businesses have shown fading and peeling after only a few years. The job that Lance and his employees did on my Acura looks as good as new after 5 years. I have ZERO peeling edges and the view through my back window is still CRYSTAL CLEAR with ZERO fading, and NO opaqueness or that annoying light fluctuation in and around the defrosters. Just got my Volvo Mafia Wagon tinted today at CWT and I must tell you the experience was phenomenal. Lance is a great person with a great personality. He helped me with the different variations of tint colors and types. I opted for 3M Color Stable 20% back and 35% fronts. I actually forgot to get the extra front window insurance (you know for the too dark of tint issues with the LAW) but Lance told me I have 2 weeks to decide on that so I will add that to my list when I come back next Saturday.
