While the technician was polite enough to apologize--admitting the poor work was because he 'had a long night'--his boss, Jeff, flatly refused to offer a partial refund. They had a same day available, so I was able to go right after work. When I got there, they explained the difference tint options and their benefits, so it made it easier to make my decision. I hired this company to tint the windows on my brand-new car. Unfortunately, after the work was completed, I noticed scratches on the passenger door panel. When I brought it up, instead of taking responsibility, the technician accused me of trying to blame him for something he didn't do and even suggested that I was just trying to make him cover my own problem. I'm absolutely certain those scratches were not there before. On top of that, the tint job itself was done poorly, with visible air bubbles. When I asked about it, I was told it was because the work was done in the tight space of my garage and that it's impossible to achieve perfect results outside of a shop. One day I was hit with an instagram ad while scrolling and after some time, I requested a quote via text. After a few minutes, I received a response quickly! I was shopping around and though the price was marginally (10-20 dollars) more expensive for the film/service that I got (3m IR Ceramic), they offered the mobile service which was totally what I needed since needing to work and not wait at a service location. Every car is different, but for my Honda Accord 2012, 5 windows costed 550 dollars and the front windshield was 250 extra. I set up my appointment for a morning and the team of 3 was done within 2.5 hours for 6 windows. The team was polite and communicative both via text and call. ***Update*** Second car was a sedan (TSX) and required some tint removal. They removed the old faded tint. Then went 5%back 15%front. Amazing work. Great prices. Car looks so much better. Summertime ready. I found these guys through IG. I figured I reach out and get a quote for my brand new 10 year old new car lol. They were very helpful and provided many options. Sent the $50 deposit and then the morning-of appointment they call to say their 'tech is coming from LA and stuck in traffic and that it's not worth it for them to do just the two windows.' So... I guess they're going to pay their tech to turn around and do nothing? Or they send on another job? I also asked for my deposit back and of course they say it's non-refundable. Glad there is yelp to report bad businesses like this. If this is how they treat customers I imagine their work isn't very good either. read more

I found their info on Facebook, and I used to have a mobile guy for years (until he moved away), but have used Mikes tint shop for the last few years with good results. I liked the idea of having a mobile guy to come out and install the tint as a time saving idea. I called and they were prompt and set an appointment (once a deposit was given to them) and they showed up the following week on time. The first install resulted in the side and back windows not being done well, there were large bubbles and areas on the aide windows where it was clearly delaminated. They told me these would go away after a few days (they didn't). The back windows can be tricky with defrosters, but they left large areas of bubbles and generally didn't do a great job. The front window has dozens of bubbles in it, including a finger print right where you look through the front windshield. I contacted them, and they came back out to my house (a few days later) to correct the issues, they redid the side windows and the back window, the results from a delaminating or bubble factor is much better now (why didn't they do that kinda work the first time)? But they chose not to address the front windshield The worst part is they are sloppy with the clean up and work area in the car. The pockets of my doors has water sitting in them, and pieces of film left in several areas on the floor. My leather dash had water and adhesive stains left on both sides. I let the car sit for a few days (its not a daily driver) to allow the tint to cure correctly) when I drove it a few days later, the tint does not match the sides or front, the side have a brownish tinge to them vs the front or compared to other cars I have. (The owner later made the excuse that the glass must have been made in china, thus its not clear to begin with) The front windshield (that they chose not address when they came back) has dozens of bubbles all over the visible area of the windshield, including fingerprints under the film, it looks like there are chips in the windshield when you drive. I called the owner and they came back out a few days later, and I showed him my Range Rover that Mike's tint did to compare. And he found a few small bubbles in the periphery of the windshield (not the viewable area) a compared to his work- Instead of redoing the front windshield, he wanted to refund some money, and take it off the tint and leave it at that. That leaves me with having to go to another shop to have it redone still. Based on the work they did, the mess they left (film pieces, water left in my doors, stain on the leather dash etc) I didn't want them to just remove it if they weren't going to redo it. I opted to have them leave it until I can have it redone to avoid them leaving a mess or doing further sloppy work. The owner refused to refund any money at that point as he didn't get his film back. Overall, I wish I had just stuck with going to Mike's Tint shop, the time suck of having to wait for them, meet them multiple times etc cost me hours of valuable work time I wont recover. The owner is snide and makes excuses instead of owning the issue, i thought we were good when they came back too fix it, but they addressed 1/2 the issues and left a mess in my car, sloppy and a waste of time... Buyer beware Update. The owner of the company claims I am trying to just get money out of him, pretty pathetic. I just wanted to job done right- they had to come back out and redo other windows and failed to address the front window (the most visible one)! The work on the other windows turned out decent, so that shows they are capable of doing the job right when they aren't rushed and sloppy. I feel this review is important and the owner beck came very snide in his comments and texts. When I simply wanted the work done right, his response was to just remove the tint (not replace it) and refund some $$$. I chose not to have them remove it, based on the fact they did leave adhesive and water on the dash and in the sorts of the car and I didn't want an angry sloppy removal based on my past experience. I took the car today to my old tint shop and had it removed and redone. Their professional opinion was that this was sloppy and unprofessional in the prep of the glass prior to install. I attached a pic of the invoice for proof. So now I've paid 2x to get this done right. Don't let this guy rip you off too, he isn't the victim here. Buyer beware!! read more

This place is scam and joke. If I can give zero or negative star I would! This place is horrible when it comes to taking care of their customer. I had my windshield protection done and after few weeks it became hazy. I have to come in to get it replace and they are trying to blame me for it. To make the story short they replaced it and it happened again. Windshield protection is not cheap! I requested a refund and "Jeffrey" keeps telling me that they are waiting for the vendor to get back to them so I can get reimbursed. The owner sounds full of it and very cocky to deal with.Incredibly disappointed of my experience and service from them. In my personal opinion this is not a good business or customer service.
