[[HIGHLIGHT]]When I called to schedule an appointment to have my vehicle's front windows tinted, the young woman I spoke with was extremely patient and helpful...and equally so when I visited the shop last Friday morning. I appreciated her consultative assistance in helping me choose the right brand and VLT for my needs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The process only took about an hour. It's now day four, and I see tiny dots (air bubbles?), a lot of streaking and hazy/cloudy-looking windows. I've never had my windows tinted before so I'm hoping that this is part of the curing process because it looks a bit dirty. That being said, I must comment on how things were done. The person/people who performed the service did not cover my doors, and the solution that was sprayed created a sloppy mess of white spots on the fabric and residual drip stains on the interior of both front doors. I'm certain that this is NOT standard practice. I haven't yet rolled my windows down and now I'm a bit nervous. Hopefully the solution didn't drain inside my windows. My driver-side window got smashed, so I needed new tint. My usual mechanic quoted around $100, and other shops I called said it starts at $100, or $50 for just one window. Since I drop my daughter off at college in this area every morning, I called a tint shop near the campus. Over the phone, this place said $30 for one window, and $10 if removal was needed -- no extra fees. They said it would take about 30 minutes per window. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I showed up about an hour early for my appointment, but probably because it was Presidents' Day and they weren't busy, they took me right away.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The Korean owner and his staff made the shop feel very welcoming and comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Most importantly, the work was very professional. They finished the first window perfectly in about 30 minutes. Since I had time and they weren't busy, I asked them to tint the other side window as well, so they would match. Normally, there would be a removal fee, but they discounted it this time. The total came out to exactly $60, including tax, and both windows were done in about an hour. They were very friendly, did a perfect job, and the receipt also works as a warranty if anything happens to the tint. No wonder all the other Yelpers give them 5 stars. I highly recommend this place. Would give this place 10 stars if I could. Paul and his team did such a great job with my tint. I first reached out to Paul to get a quote on ceramic and carbon tint options. Unlike other shops I contacted, Paul went in depth with all the tint brand options and price points, and he provided information about the different UV percentages and what not. That's all to say that he was super thorough in explaining my options. I ended up going with a carbon tint on my side windows and rear windshield, and Paul was able to squeeze me in that same week. Paul is great and actually recommended I get a much cheaper (carbon) tint over the ceramic tint I told him I was looking to get. After weighing the options, I decided to go with the 3M Ceramic IR tint I was initially planning on getting after all, and Paul gave me an excellent price and they installed it perfectly with no air bubbles or anything. No more riding around in a fishbowl, baking like a lobster in the sun through untinted windows. It also really added to the look of my car and didn't cause any weird color hues like some tints cause. It's not the heat of summer yet, but we've had some sunny days, and I've never noticed any heat accumulating in the cabin whatsoever. I had Llumar CTX installed on one of my old cars by a tint place in Newport Beach, and not only did it have air bubbles in it, but the interior of the car would accumulate heat like a sauna and was really uncomfortable to get into on sunny days and caused immediate sweating. I was so pleased with my 3M tint done here that I took my car back to get my dash camera system installed.
