Never had a bad experience from this place, pizza & grinders always consistent & the gyro's are amazing! Yes yes & yes!

Being a Bristolian if you don't eat here at least once that's considered blasphemy my friends! I usually get delivery from here when I'm craving GOOD pizza, not that domino's garbage on Gooding. I have eaten at this location once and ordered the BBQ Chicken calzone. When the waitress brought it to my table, I looked at and thought, out loud (oops) holy s**t did you stuff the whole chicken in this?!?! It was huge! Needless to say the portions are very generous indeed. The wait staff for the most part does not bother me. Granted they are teenagers, probably RWU students or local kids. So to say they are up to par on manners and customer service is not an accurate statement. But I love their pizza. It's square shaped pizza and it's so delicious. I usually get extra cheese, pepperoni and black olives. My favorite part is the crust. Nice and crispy but not burnt or over cooked. If you're in the area and craving a good pizza, I recommend Classic Pizza to be your destination. Not stellar customer service, but hey you're there to grub on pizza not make small talk with the staff. Delivery usually takes 35-40 minutes so they are usually on top of getting your food to you in a reasonable amount of time. read more

I got introduced to this pizza place from my grandmother. I just rekindled my tastebuds for them when my sister told me they were still open. The crust used to be much more buttery and greasy. But the changes they made on the crust are well worth it. The crust is big, crispy, and airy. Love it, that's what I know Classic Pizza for. I haven't tried out any of thier sandwiches. 5 stars because the pizza was delicious and made promptly, after sitting just a few minutes and watching the cooks work, it was evident they ran like a well oiled machine. What left a bad taste in my mouth was the blonde female cashier who greeted my boyfriend and I with confrontation about who was "making fun of her on the phone" because I told him she had asked him to hold as he started placing his order. It made the experience very awkward and her attitude was very unnecessary. Poor customer service skills. read more

After trying a lot of pizza and sandwich places for takeout lately this is still my go to place. Portions are good and prices are reasonable. Food is consistently good, especially the pizza. Have never really had anything here that I disliked. I try different places thinking I will find something better. I always return here and think why didn't I just order from Classic. Classic Pizza has continued to serve disappointing food while constantly raising their prices. A chicken kabob sandwich only is now over $9!! Three pieces of chicken, barely any tzatziki sauce loaded with peppers and onions! The response I received was "Do you know how much chicken is a pound"? One thing I do know know is one kabob purchased pays for at least 2-3 lbs of chicken. No upgrades are made to their establishment or products, prices are simply raised and customers have to chose between Classic and Dominos when eating out after 10 pm! Delivery drivers are usually very quick with good personalities!!! read more

This is the first and last time I am ordering from here. I ordered an Italian sub and the person taking my order stared at me blankly and asked me what I wanted in the sub--she did not know what an Italian was! When I got the sub I was hoping to be greeted with a nice looking italian with olive oil and vinegar but instead unwrapped the paper to reveal a soggy mess. I could barely see if any cheese was added, bread was soggy, lettuce was wilted and soggy--the sub was just a sad soggy oily mess. I was so disappointed that I paid for this sad excuse of a sandwich and even more disappointed to say that an italian BMT from Subway is gourmet compared to this. Never again. read more

I am sorry to say that although Classic's food is delectable, the customer service is of the poorest I have ever experienced. The other day my fiancé and I ordered dinner from Classic's and the food was never delivered. This would not be a big deal accept for the fact that they took the money from my fiancé's account and did not provide any service. My fiancé and I went to speak with them about refunding us, or simply giving us the food we ordered, and the owner aggressively challenged this claim and belittled us as paying customers. The ordeal happened in front of the entire staff and other customers. After several minutes of the owner resisting to cooperate calmly with us the other customers and ourselves just left. This situation left us bewildered and frustrated and we feel that other customers should know the potential hostility they could face if a problem like our arises. read more

They try to take advantage of the night life however with 1 worker, 2 deliveries drivers and a single cook it doesn't seem like they have the correct plan to do so. I waited an hour and 45 minutes, from 11:20pm to 1am before I canceled my ordered mid delivery! Not mention I was in the facility a few weeks prior to over hear the delivery drivers talking about they make their "non tippers" wait. Wonder why! read more

Ordered two grinders and some fries late on Sunday. Delivered within 45min but sadly they were the wrong grinders. Mistakes happen. The young lady I spoke to when I called back was super pleasant and very apologetic. She sent out two new grinders and they're delicious! Great job Classic! read more

Worst pizza I have ever had in my life. I like greasy pizza, but this one was not the same as regular greasy pizza. Terrible crust, terrible sauce, and terrible toppings. I've only had the pizza but it is so good. The pepperoni and onion is amazing and the Greek is great too. Last time we went they messed up one half of our half and half pizza. Instead of throwing it out and starting over they made us another whole pizza with the ingredients from the half that was wrong. AND they gave us three free sodas for the inconvenience! Ordered for delivery twice. Messed up both times. First time I didn't get the right food until 2 hours later. On top of all of this they acted rude and annoyed because I called and nicely asked for the food I actually ordered and paid for. They ran out of cheesy fries. AKA fries in general. Who runs out of fries at 11 at night, let me know. It took over an hour to deliver an order of 7 mozzarella sticks and 2 bottles of water and they didn't even tell me before hand they were out of fries. To bad the owner's customer service isn't as good as the pizza. Unfortunately after calling up to explain that my onion rings were rock hard and EXTRA crispy when delivered the owner started yelling at me because I had noise in the background. He was very rude and when I told him I was a paying customer and not to speak to me that way he just started swearing at me and hung up. I went into the place and he glowered at me. I asked if he was the gentleman that swore at me on the phone. He started screaming and grabbed the container out of my hand and threw it in the trash, had an employee refund my $3.25 and screamed at me to never come back again. This pizza place reminds me of the pizza I got growing up. So it has a place in my heart. Super cheesy, super crusty, these pizzas scream more. My favorite here is the buffalo chicken pizza (not surprising though it is my favorite pizza everywhere). I did not pre-order when I showed up, the young woman at the counter was kind talkative and you can tell she works really hard. I did not see anyone else there. Either way, she told me my pizza would be ready in 15 and it was. Overall I am very happy with the service and pizza. read more

Bristol has more than its fair share of pizza places, but Classic definitely stands out among them. One of the few good pizza places in the town. But the best thing about Classic is that they stay open late. In a town where it seems like everything closes at 9pm, Classic is a must have. Try the white pizza. read more

Crazy-friendly service (I've only been in 3 times and they recognize me and my favorite "spot" to sit and catch up on some work!) and delicious, out-of-this-world Greek salads and Chicken Gyros. The pizza from here is good. But some shady people own/run this place! The menu prices and the actual prices are different for one thing. A two topping small is 8.75 on the menu but for some reason i was asked to pay 10.22 for it. When i pointed to the menu price and asked why i was not being charged that price they directed my attention to fine print on the next page of the menu. there it says there is an up charge for extra cheese, bacon and some other things but does not say what the up charge is. this is ludicrous as they use bacon bits on the pizza and charge more for it as if it were real bacon! In addition the Buffalo Chicken calzone price is 8.75, but that does not include the chicken?! Are you serious!? Right above the item this time it says they will charge more for chicken. So for 8.75 u get a calzone with what? cheese bread and buffalo sauce? the real price is around 13.00 for a small! in addition to this the food will never be the same twice. buyer beware this place is shady. read more

An amazing experience. The owners are extremely kind and the food is just absolutely to die for. I would highly recommend it. New management is really turning things around and it gets better and better! Definitely would recommend coming in and for the holidays, they even decorate! Great food but service is awful! I'm in college and I am broke. I ordered a small pizza and motzarella sticks the bill was just under $20. I ordered a white pizza. It was incredibly dry, over-cooked and tasted like cardboard. I returned it and the owner asked what was wrong with it. Once I explained what was wrong, he got very angry, threw the pizza and said,"OK, I'll give you your money back, but how about I never serve you again!!" No sorry, no offer to replace it, nothing. After moving my daughter into her dorm at RWU, all we wanted was a slice of pizza. We got that and a whole lot more at Classic! Being new to the area, we wanted to know what my daughter could look forward to for the next 4 years. We chatted with the hostess and the chef(who happen to be brother and sister!). They were very kind and helpful. Then our food came, and it was fantastic! Can I recommend the white pizza?!?!?!
