If you have a problem the customer service is horrible. i spent approx 20k with this place and had 1 problem with a hydra boost. They said there is nothing wrong with it and that they wouldn't exchange it. So i bought one from the Chevy and it worked perfect. Too bad not a half star...or a one third star. But my bad for not reading the other reviews before I ordered. Like many before me, these slip-shod people sent me the wrong part. I ordered the right part, they screwed it up. So I pay my mechanic to put it on, take it off and then put the right part on again. How can these people still be in business with such customer service? Then to add insult to injury, they won't even ship the right part out until they receive the wrong one! Update: I went to the shop the next day after I posted this review . I was helped by Chris. He offered great customer service, he took his time to review everything with me . He even took pictures and sent them to me so I could see how everything went. I appreciated his help and understanding. Vaun was the man who I dealt with in my original purchase , unfortunately when I was trying to resolve the issues I was having he had left for vacation but I did speak to him afterwards and he was also very helpful. I appreciated him getting in touch with me to make sure I was good. I understand that they have no control over what gets packaged (and what gets left out) . Bought a steering column from CPP. Out of the box the tilt wouldn't hold the low position and first week of use turn signal cancelling switch broke. Column is being warranted but CPP stuck me with freight both ways despite notification that the item was defective within 30 days of purchase. Had CPP at least been willing to split the shipping expense I might still be a customer but between the QC issues and poor CS I wont be back. read more

Great products, terrible customer service. I first ordered the front and rear coil over setup for one of my C10s from summit. The product was sent from CPP and was missing the trailing arms. I called summit they told me they contacted CPP and their response was "they're still being powder coated" (I probably would have never received them if it were up to CPP) summit got a set from Texas warehouse and had them sent within 2 days. CPP should take notes. I then ordered front and rear sway bars directly from CPP. I called with the exact part numbers and placed my order, once they came in i called CPP and told them I believed they sent 2 different rear sway bars. I took photos of the boxes and the sway bars and had to email them the photos. The tech team had no idea what sway bars were sent, the receipts were all backwards. Then I received a phone call or email from Van. Van seemed like he was going to handle all this confusion and told me he'd take care of it ASAP! Great someone who knows what they're talking about. Van tells me to send back a sway bar with the part number and he'd send me the correct one. A week or so passed and I email Van directly, he says I sent the wrong bar back. I emailed him and told him the reason that one was sent back was because he was the one who told me to send it back. I have emails to confirm. He says send the other one now. Both sway bars were sent back at this time. So CPP has both of my sway and my money. I email Van again for an update, his response was "this was already taken care of". NEGATIVE!! So i finally get one sway bar in. I email Van July 1st again he says "I'll take care of it". I emailed them back July 27th and told them I still don't have my other sway bar and havnt received any updates. Van says "I thought I took care of this already". I told him to send my part or send my money back. It's been a week and still no shipping confirmation. CPP get off your ass and handle up. It shouldn't take 6 months to receive products if you say their in stock. IF you purchase items through CPP don't expect to receive your parts for a few months and about 30 emails later. read more

Very disappointed in this company. I have ordered parts on several occassions and I always ask when the parts will ship and they state the next day. It is never the next day. Usually up to 4 days later before they ship your order even when I asked to please ship by the next day still not shipped for 3 to 4 days. The last order they shipped the wrong item and again made me wait 4 days until it actually shipped. I won't do business with this vendor in the future and will tell my club menber not to expect good service from this company. read more

Unfortunately their customer service sucks!!! I had paid cash $ 3800 plus change for their Stage Three Pro Touring Kit and other parts for a customers car that was entered in a up coming car show and was told that three of the parts that they did not have in their warehouse that day would be in with in 7 to 10 days. Which was fine we still had time to finish the car for the show...On the 8th day I called to follow up on the order and was told that the only one of the three parts came in and the rear coil coves package they could put together that they have all the parts in there warehouse. And the uppers & lowers their waiting for and will be in by the 10th day on Friday. Which would have been fine that car show was that Sunday. Friday came then I was told nothing came in yet alone did they put the coil over package together!!! Quest What??? It's Tuesday now and we are still waiting !!!!!!! So if we DO NOT receive the rest of what the customer had paid for today by noon we are RETURNING ALL ITEMS FOR FULL REFUND!! read more

I have been doing an LS engine swap into a 1972 Chevy C20, like so many others and been working with Jeff at the shop on the parts for the conversion. i am installing CPP disc brakes with the 2" lowered spindles on a 57 Chevy passenger car. I have had the spindle / rotor / brake kit for about 4 years now sitting boxed. Just installed the spindles and rotor today. Everything seems like a good fit thus far, I am pretty happy. Bearing races are already pressed into the hub / rotor assembly, the spindles went on very nicely, it installed as if it was OEM. I was always a little skeptical because I was told by a staffer that parts are cast in China, but then they are machined over here. Going to car shows, there are a lot of tri-fives fitted with CPP brake and steering parts that I see, I hope the rest of the project goes well for me, too (I just need the car to roll for now, I won't be installing the calipers just yet.) read more

Bought a set of disc brakes with spindles for my 67 Chevelle. CPP spindles, rotors and brackets with Wilwood calipers. After installation I found that the caliper brackets are not square to the rotors. I called for assistance and was told I bought them over 2 years ago and would have to buy new brackets, that they were bent because I didn't store them properly. What kind of crap is that?, two 1/4" steel brackets bent themselves in the exact same way while sitting on a shelf in their original packaging? Wow, you'd think these guys would be more anxious to help considering the liability of selling defective brake parts. From now on I'll do myself and the innocent public a favor by not buying anything else from CPP! read more

Like many, it seems, I've also had the displeasure of doing business with CPP. I've done business with them in the past and have been able to put up with their deathly slow shipping process, but this one takes the cake. I purchased a MCPV1 master cylinder and due to poor design and all my best efforts, I couldn't get the lid to seal and not leak fluid. They sent me a new gasket No charge. Still leaks like a sieve. They sent me a return authorization with the stipulation that it had to be in "like new, resellable condition". No dice there, I had no intention of returning it and had scratched the chrome while bench bleeding it in my vice. So, I sucked it up and ate the $200 cost of that master cylinder and I ordered a different master cylinder from them as well. They said they would adjust the price of the new master cylinder and ship it out same day. A $10 adjustment (to a cost of more than $200) and 2 days later my new master cylinder hit the road. Insult to Injury.... But wait, it gets better. I received the new part in about 5 business days which would be okay if I lived on the east coast but I live in SW Washington state. When I picked up the package, I thought it felt kinda light for a master cylinder. Sure enough, the clowns sent only the proportioning valve and the remote fill cap that I had ordered. THEY DIDN'T SEND THE ACTUAL MASTER CYLINDER!!!! I called, they promised to fix the situation immediately. That was on the 18th. It's now the 20th and the fucking thing hasn't even left Anaheim as far as I can tell from the tracking number provided. THESE GUYS ARE TOTAL IDIOTS!!!! read more

I have never dealt with a company that goes so far to make a customer happy! I have purchased a "Big Brake System," a "Pro Touring II suspension kit" and numerous other items from CPP. I knew going in, that modifying a classic car wasn't going to be simple. In the 60"s and 70"s no two cars were ever quite the same, but I was up for the challenge. However, what ever the problem, the tech support and the guys behind the counter not only took as much time as I needed to sort me out, but they even came out and slid under my car a few times. If I needed a extra bracket or mount, they just gave it too me free of charge! What really impressed me was their knowledge of each cars "build" problems and having "corrective" parts to help you get around it. I am also impressed with the quality of their parts. As a EX race shop owner I know what is good and what isn't. If you're going to spend your hard earned dollar CPP is a great way to go! read more

I would never buy CPP parts again. I have had more issues and had to replace whole control arms, bushings, etc.. My 1965 Biscayne only has about 800 miles on it with the CPP control arms and I've already gone through a lower arm and now my upper bushings need to be replaced. I don't have the time to work on my car so I have a shop do it and the cost to remove the arms and replace $12 bushings isI would NEVER buy these parts again. I am replacing my suspension and my brakes from them. My brakes make the worst noises and don't even stop very good, not like they should. I am not going to replace all of my suspension and braking components with stuff that won't go bad on me in a short time. read more

I wouldn't even give 1 start if I could. I ordered a complete disc conversion kit from CPP for my 70 C10. This kit has everything I need to convert fairly seamlessly. I placed the order and with error on my part with an expired CC. No problem, fixed it and placed the order again. Went through the normal waiting period and got an email stating that part of the kit was on backorder. No problem things happen. I inquired about the lead time for the part... no response. I inquired again a week later and still had no response. I let it go for 2 more weeks just to let my BP go down. I sent out another email asking about the lead time and addressed the fact that I had been ignored. NO RESPONSE! I waited another 5 days and sent another email after I had been charged for the brake kit. I still had not gotten any information on my order. I had emailed Jennifer, the information email... nothing. I called the company and spend 15 minutes on hold, transferred 3 times and interrupted several times when trying to explain my story. When the customer service issue was brought up on the phone, it was smoothly side stepped. Fast forward 1 hour, FedEx attempted to deliver the brake kit... I still had no idea it had shipped, or had a tracking number... The quality of their products are yet to be determined. As for their customer service... it was bad enough to make me NEVER order anything from them again. Never again... wouldn't recommend them to anyone for anything strictly off their customer service! read more

This place needs to be closed! Bought a complete brake kit for 49-54 chev.bracket for master cyl. Is powder coated ,looks great but puts the pedal where the clutch should be! Took it back to the store,checked two more they are the same. Francisco brought out another one of different manufacture and it was right but it was bare metal and $100.00 more!he was going to take care of the problem and has done nothing. Won't answer calls or return calls!i guess the right parts cost more than the wrong ones at cpp.no customer service at all.stay away from this place!!! No stars ! Ordered $942.63 worth of stuff for my truck. Received shipment with some missing parts. (I was fine with it. everyone screws up) They sent shipment of missing parts and gues what. Still missing parts! I call them up and wanted next day air and they kid laughed and said that would cost to much for them. ($70). I get sent from manager to manager to manger. and after 20 minutes and two call backs they finally agreed to two day air it. My father has spent over $2000 dollars with them for his car. They just lost 2 good customers that will build many more hotrods over a $70 shipping cost.
