DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!! 0 interest in helping you after they get their money. My $1700 kit came Without instructions or an inventory list. I called for a set of instructions and inventory list (email.) The service tech told me to print out instructions for a TCI (total cost involved) kit, which made me wish I would've went with TCI's kit. What if the top hats or cross member are different measurements? After 30 mins reviewing inventory with the tech, I was told I had everything. He must not have been paying attention during the call. Last week I started the install to find I was missing $80 worth of nuts and bolts (per the techs quote). I wasn't rude or inappropriate. I simply requested the parts. I was told "absolutely not". I had 30 days to make the request or I'm responsible for parts that weren't provided in the kit. TCI's inventory sheet doesn't require the parts I was missing. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Any company willing to milk its customer this hard isn't worth doing business at all. I spent $2k on parts, just to get jacked for more money. I found the bolts for 1/4 the price from Speedway Motors.... complete regret on the purchase. Spend the extra money and go with a better fab company. TCI, Fatman, or any of the other businesses who do quality Control, provide a checklist, and instructions. I should've done more research before purchasing. Plenty of people here stating the same. read more

never buy anything from this company!!! if you end up not liking what you ordered and want to send it back they will charge you a 20% restocking fee plus shipping that you will pay both ways! ordered a gas tank and did not receive the one shown on their website which is also misleading. called and got an rma, sent it back, and the total cost was originally $539.40 and took more than a month to have my account credited while they used my money to scam others and when all was said and done only received a $333.75 refund. that order cost me more than $200 and i ended up with nothing but $200 less than i started with. they are criminals!!! they are scam artists!!! tech support said they would call me back after several calls to assist and never got a call back!!! when i called to get answers to my final credit they could care less about making the customer happy!!!! post this everywhere and never purchase anything from this scamming company. read more

BUYER BEWARE! CPP sells parts they don't have in stock on eBay& home website, (past experience w/ home website). I ordered 7/7/22, was to arrive in 7 days at purchase. I Bought their Wildwood front brake system product for price & quality. Zero stars should be an option. Received item that was not as described and with no instructions. Instead, I was provided with a picture of a car being built. I was not willing to modify my car to fit their part. Item was returned at a cost of $38 to me for shipping. After 2 weeks of acknowledging receipt of item and being told my refund would be issued, I received a refund that had been reduced by 20% with no explanation. Now being told by CPP that the reduction was a restocking fee. Yet return invoice shows the 20% as a "discount" with $0 as a restocking fee. After contacting the seller regarding the $60 "discount", they have offered to waive the "restocking fee" for a store credit. What could I possibly want from them, after they sold me a part that did not fit and did not match the description? Transaction was via eBay. I would never buy from this seller again and would encourage others to read seller feedback on Yelp! read more

First and foremost, I'm an ASE certified technician, I have built several custom cars and motorcycles in my 30 years in the field... This isn't my first rodeo. After buying many parts from these guys, hundreds if not thousands of dollars generated through friends and family that I recommended to CPP.. They have LOST my business today...I will never buy anything from these people ever again, I will tell all my friends to do the same.. Bough a disc brake conversion kit from them less than 20hrs ago, asked the counter man if we could return the kit if it wouldn't work with my OG wheels and he said" as long as you bring it back in less than a couple of days ,with no damage, and in sale able condition it should be no problem, and I WILL NOT Charge a re-stocking fee" Well, hours after arriving home(2hrs away) we immediately realized the disc brake conversion would not work (only way it will work if you replace the wheels which means another 400-500 bucks plus tires) not an option for me.all parts are still in t he original boxes, unopened and sealed... Next day, less than 24hrs later after driving in L.A. Traffic, they refuse to honor the initial agreement of hassle free returns and no re-stocking fees..to make matters worse,I wait 30 minutes for them to "cut a check" for me..oh! Did I mention that they refuse to give me cash back ?? So now, I have to waste hours of my life to cash a damn check, deal with traffic on my way home, not once did the counterman that sold us the product apologize nor did he man up to his promise..he simply left the building .worse customer service I ever experienced So go ahead CPP,keep my $40 bucks, this will be the last time you get a goddamn cent from me and my friends.. BTW, not that I see it happening, do you, the OWNER or GM of CPP, why not respond to any of these reviews?? Do you care about your customers at all? read more

Deserve less than 1 star.....lucky to get that. WHAT A NIGHTMARE of a company to deal with. Ordered the right control arm set, they shipped the wrong set, and in the meantime, the car sits on my hoist at my shop for a week, waiting for the correct part shipment. When I call and ask where my parts are, they tell me they are waiting for me to return the wrong parts, and only THEN, will they ship them out, unless I want to pay again for the correct parts. I paid for them (now twice) so I could complete the job, and now trying (still) to get my refund for the parts that they incorrectly shipped. If its customer service you expect, this is definitely NOT the place to find it. What a clusterfu#k of a business.....NEVER AGAIN! read more

CPP resells junk. They have no product support & if something is wrong it is always your fault. Their tech team is poor at best, if u have a issue they will tell u they will research & get back to u, never happens !! read more

This company gets one star only because I have no lower option. Working with CPP has been a nightmare. This place is awful. So far they have found a way to screw up every order they've sent to our shop. The kits are usually supplied with instructions for completely different vehicles and without fail show up with some form of wrong component included or show up with something missing completely. Furthermore, once you encounter a problem, good luck trying to get someone at CPP to put forth any effort to resolve it when the issue was more than likely their fault to begin with. Good luck getting a call back from these guys either. I have wasted more time sitting on hold with this company trying to reach anyone who can get something done over there that it is down right ridiculous. How is this place still in business? From what I have seen, they are terrible all around. read more

I ordered a set of springs through CPP, first the web ordering system let me setup an order where I shipped to an address different than my billing address, looks like they have since changed their system so this won't happen. My order sat around about two weeks before I called and resolved the issue. The springs arrived promptly but along with them came a $55 charge for shipping, the estimator on the website estimated about half of that. According to the person I contacted that's about standard for shipping to the West Coast. For the amount of volume these guys do I am in disbelief their shipping is this expensive. I would avoid doing business with this company if at all possible. read more

Hello I would like everyone to know, the extent of how CPP,made a bad situation right. My 5 thousand dollar shipment was sent to the wrong place, and after talking to victor,I was sent next day shipping all of the parts that was lost. This also came with the reimbursement of the original shipping in the form of in store credit. So if thier is ever a problem with your order do not hesitate to contact victor,he is the problem solver in the office. I would also like to thank the woman answering the phone line she was very professional ,and a key person in keeping our relationship intact. All the parts look great. One star because products APPEAR to be good quality. Customer service is ridiculous. Returned a part because it wasn't the right set up and was told that I was going to pay a 20% restocking fee. Their salesman had no clue what the right part was; why even send it to me to begin with? No response after trying to track down my return. Finally got a hold of them and they said we damaged the product and had to pay an additional 40% fee, but it was never used, so how was it damaged? Fast forward a month and I get an invoice refunding me 40% of my purchase. Sounds like a scam to me! I don't recommend you use these guys at all. Don't know the product's they sell and have outrageous "fees". read more

Okay. After some persistance this place redeemed itself. After speaking with a customer service supervisor they agreed to take back the 5 lug rotor and replace with a 6 lug.Yay. If I could give them a zero star I would. If you're like me, you want to spend your hard earned money on a good product that works. I took a chance and went with their control arms for a 79 camaro. Worst mistake I made. They have a little bracket for the sway bar to hook up to and it scraps on my coil spring. The stock sway bar did not line up with their little bracket and their own sway bar didn't line up with their own control arms! Crazy that they have even got away with this stuff. Plain and simple, if you want a decent product DO NOT go to CPP. It will cost you more time and money in the long run. read more

Always a pleasure doing business with. If you own or building a classic or hot rod these guys can help with almost all of your needs.

I ordered a set of Viking front coil over shocks for a 1973 Camaro and was sent one 1967 and 1973 shock. The shocks were sent in two separate boxes that did not indicate a make and model indicating which is which. The shocks are physically similar with the 1967 shock being about 1/2 inch shorter that was not evident until after installation. I returned the incorrect shock and CPP refused to replace it because of a small scratch on the housing of the shock. I didn't take pictures before sending the shock and was not aware of any scratch to the shock so I could not refute that this might have happened while sending the shock back. I paid $425 for both shocks, springs, and hardware and CPP's proposed solution was for send the correct shock for $170, essentially full price. I proposed splitting the difference at $85 because I do not see why I should have to buy a new shock because they sent the incorrect part which was impossible for me to know until after installation. Despite being a repeat customer and having spent over $4500 with them year they have left me with a set of shocks I cannot use. Their customer service is argumentative, I was left on hold for 30 minutes, and repeatedly lied to by rep. Danny Castillo. I spent 2 months trying to get the correct coil over sent so I could remove my Camaro off the jack stands. Eventually I had to settle for having them send the incorrect shock back and pursue my claim with my credit card company. Avoid CPP at all cost. CPP is your best friend during sales and a complete nightmare if you have problems. When you purchase from CPP, whether they send you the correct part or not, you will own it. They will not back up any of their promises, accuse you of damaging a return, and not respond to emails or voice messages. I have found out first hand that they make their money by unethical business practices. CPP has many 1 star reviews here. Don't be fooled by these 5 star "customers". read more

So, called and spoke to Jeff about ordering dropped spindles. Very pleasant. Knowledgeable etc. RECOMMENDED I CALL AND PLACE MY ORDER ON FATHERS DAY FOR DISCOUNTED PRICING. When I called for fathers day, I got Joe who stated there would be no discount below 399 dollar priced items. Too bad this company can't get their story straight. Since it was their mistake, a smart customer service rep would simply honor the offered discount, rather than tell the customer to suck rope. They told me to suck rope hence this YELP review. C'mon guys. Get some leadership in the store and man up when you get it wrong. Who is managing this store and why can't they get the basics right???? read more

I really believe that CPP Performance offers great parts, but their service level is very poor. Purchased a big brake upgrade for front and rear on my 1972 Chevelle from them. Although the fit and feel are great, they left out so many parts. For the money I spent I figured it would ship complete. Called numerous times to be put on hold for eternity, to leave your name and number and we will call you back. They did return my call, and I missed it, but to return it 10 minutes before they close? Mind you I called at 9 AM their time. They got my money, but will never get a referral from me at all. read more

I've had enough!! I am a service manager at a local auto repair and restoration shop. I have had the displeasure of dealing with CPP on more than one occasion. We have done two disc brake conversions on 67-69 Camaros, and it took numerous trips back to CPP to get the right set up. The ball joint holes were always way too small. We did a disc brake conversion and Power Steering upgrade on a 1963 Chevy pick up and got two completely different spindles, had to take the one back and swap it out. It took over 6 MONTHS to get my complete tubular upper and lower "A" arms and spindles for a 1966 Suburban (which they said would take two weeks and by the way they make on site). That wouldn't be such a problem but I could never get a return phone call or even a straight answer from any of the sales reps. as to when to expect it. Then when it all finally came in, they informed me that the shock relocating kit (that I specified I needed in the original order) was going to cost extra. Really?? Could you imagine if my shop was in South Carolina? Imagine all of the shipping back and forth and length of time it would take to complete one car? These guys supposedly sell their stuff World Wide, so I guess the one star that I'm forced to give them is for them being so local to me. Because Lord knows it's gonna take a few trips to get it right. read more

I usually don't write reviews or care to but after reading all the horror stories from here and on ebay this company made me sick all these people can't be lying. The sold me wrong parts and expected me to pay for shipping back to them so they can review if it's still resellable. Then they would either ship me the right parts or give me credit not my money back. Why should we pay for their mistakes parts are cheaply made too. Please stay away it's going to cost you double in the long run... I let them keep my money this time but I will not do business again. Boycott this place they make it seem like this is the only place we can get parts for our classics that's why they don't care. read more
