Have called a number of times. Called to order a complete suspension kit for a 54 Chevy 3100 with 6 on 5.5 lug pattern, which wasn't listed on their website. Called on a sat morning to order and salesman said he was too busy to figure out shipping and to call back later. Really, a salesman too busy to take a customer order? As a result, I ordered the kit from another supplier. Tried calling for tech support today for help finding installation instructions on their website which were not provided for a cross member and was on hold for 17 minutes until the phone was picked up on the other end, beeped, and hung up. this is the worse place to get parts from, first they gave me the wrong parts when i actually had order them in person after i drove an hour away, one week later i returned with the wrong parts even though they supposed to inspected the parts order as you get them in person,they said parts were out of stock so they order me the right parts and that they would have them within 2 weeks deliver to my door, 3 weeks went by and i finally got a hold of someone after 5 times i call and hang up after 20 min of waiting on the phone,them someone aswers me the day after i lefted a message and tells me that most of my parts had been seating on their floor for days and nobody new anything about them and that the other parts missing will take another 3 weeks before i get them..... seriously?...so i ask them to send me what they had,1 week later i get half of the parts that their supposed to send me, WOW what a service they provide......im still waiting for parts hopefully some day i'll get them!!! We purchased their show stopper brake kit for over $1000. The master cylinder and proportioning valve were both damaged where the flares connected and would not stop leaking. After removing the parts we found that the products were flawed which they agreed with. They shipped us new parts but we still had the hassle of a double install and a car that did not run for weeks due to this. What happened next was worse! After the system was reinstalled and on a test drive the optional brake light switch that is on the proportioning valve blew out! This switch has a brass threaded fitting but the insert is plastic and not secured in any way. Not only did we not have any brakes but the brake fluid sprayed out and ruined all the engine compartment! We were shaken and extremely upset. We could have been killed or wrecked the car. I called them immediately and thought they were understanding of all we had been through. After numerous phone calls, emails and pictures back and forth with the manager James for over a week we were expecting to be reimbursed for all the damage, time and expense. But we were not! This company then tried to call us liars, even after we supplied them with all the evidence! Their behavior was despicable and this company has no ethics! read more

CPP has fantastic customer service. I had a problem with a hydro boost brake system installation, it seemed like it was shipped with an incorrect mounting bracket. I spoke with a tech named Mario on the phone. Mario sent me an email address with a request for pictures of the problem. Mario suggested I bring or send the unit in for inspection. Turns out I am relatively local. So I brought it in and was assisted by Francisco and Van. They were knowledgeable, courteous and determined to make this right for me. They swapped the bracket while I waited (not long). It was probably the best buying experience I have had while buying car parts for an old classic. I will definitely be back. Thanks guys! read more

Couple of years ago I upgraded my 1972 Nova's drum brakes to 4 wheel disc from CPP. Maybe the worst experience I've ever had with a company. I have done many, many brake jobs so experience was not an issue. After this installation, I could not get adequate (if any ) hydraulic fluid to the rear brake system. Tried vacuum bleeding, pressure bleeding, etc. Complete disassemble of all brake lines. Weeks led into months of; "my fault, bad proportioning valve, etc" Sending parts back & forth. Finally gave up, bought another master cylinder from a CPP's competitor and had good working brakes to all 4 wheels in about 30 minutes. What a bunch of BS from CPP in trying to get this corrected. I ordered a Power Brake Booster Conversion kit for my old ford truck. On the page the description promise no cutting or welding, but it did not fit in any way. Then I contact the customer service, never had such a terrible service. No response for several days, no technical knowledge. Never again. read more

Not very happy with them. Catalog and Web site show one price, price you pay when ordering the part is considerably higher. Hardware that comes with kits is inferior, Castor /Camber adjusters rounded out on the front end kit I purchased when the mechanic tried to align the front end after installation. Had to reuse the original Adusting cams which had no issues when used again. Not good on such an expensive kit. Almost impossible to get their customer service when you call - get a recording almost everytime and they are very poor at call backs read more

Put in an order over a week ago. Got an order confirmation. Never got a shipped email. Emailed them yesterday after waiting a week and they said sorry it is now in our shipping department and will ship within 72 hours. It is in your shipping department and it takes 3 days to ship?? You would think if you "Lost" my stuff in your facility you would ship it as fast as you can. Very disappointed as i ordered this stuff ahead of time so I could install them this week . I should have come here and looked at the reviews first. Do not understand how they have 3 stars. I went into their parts department to get some brake parts, the salesman did not even try to help answer my questions, both employees seemed stuck up, very unhelpful, their product stated it was for a different vehicle than mine, so I asked them about it and they said it would work on anything, witch could not have been true, different size vehicles with different weights require different types of brakes. These people, and people who buy these parts live in some la la land where they just like the look, but not the performance. But the biggest hit to me was their 20% RESTOCKING FEE, with no exceptions! Just buy refurbished parts, or at least somewhere else, one being performance online, who I find to be the total opposite of these people. Just remember them by Ceriously Phuckedup Products! I purchased a Grand Slam kit and disc brake conversion for my 1966 Chevy pickup longbed. after I bought the kit, some things in my life happened that delayed me installing the parts so they sat in my garage untouched for several months. 3 different employees looked over all the parts to be sure that they were all there and correct. I was told that I had it all and it was correct. now I am finally installing the kit and there are numerous small parts needed. I was told that everything that I need is in the kit. they sold me a brake cable for a short bed, I have a long bed but they never even asked me. They will not take back the cable(still sealed in their wrapping)...not even for store credit or trade for the right part. now, the master cyliner has leakes in the seals! not only can I not find the rebuild kit localy, CPP doesn't even offer a rebuild kit. They would not even exchange the thing for one that works so I had to go buy another one locally. I am fed up with this company,. they don't care about the customer only the dollar. the employee that I spoke to even went as far as to blame me for not checking everything sooner even though I told him about my situation that kept me from being able to install the parts. Bootom line is that you are taking a gamble when purchasing from this company and you may or may not be happy...I AM NOT! read more

I can not say enough about my total overall experience I had with CPP recently. I purchased their complete 4 wheel disc brake conversion kit with the MCPV-1 master cylinder and booster set-up for my 1970 Chevelle and struggled to get it to work as it should, so after multiple attempts I contacted CPP for assistance and they could not have been more helpful in getting my system figured out. After a few conversations, adjustments, a couple more new parts (which I needed cause the originals were worn out) my car now stops on the dime with plenty of brake pedal pressure. All of the guys at CPP where very helpful, educated, and had a keen sense of what to look for in helping me 'dial-in' this system. I can not be happier with their service, support and products. I will definitely be back again and again for my performance upgrades in the future. THANKS AGAIN for all your help - I could not have done it without you. read more

I bought a Stage IV Pro Touring kit for my 1964 Chevy II Nova back on July 20th. I finally got some of the order in late September (Rear Sway bar has been on back order since I bought the kit with no eta on arrival), but did not get my front Viking Coil Over Kit, or my rear Viking 2 way adjustable shocks. I was sent a paid of Qa1 single adjustable shocks, which were not even part of the kit. I was lucky that I bought my kit through Summit Racing as they helped get it taken care of. I am not sure I would have gotten the right parts/missing parts if I would have bought straight from CPP. I personally felt like I was just another sale, and that they must sell 3500.00 kits left and right and not care about how they are treating customers. This for me was a once in a blue moon type of purchase and I still have no idea when the sway bar will get here. I did get my Coil Overs and correct Rear Shocks, again due to Summit Racing helping get it resolved. If you are buying a complete kit, buy it through another retailer that can work with CPP to get issues resolved. read more
