VPS Rocks! (Out-of-State Purchase)…read more I've been searching Autotrader, craigslist and Facebook marketplace for a couple months now looking for another heavy duty vehicle for my newly started business. I've never used a auto broker before and was skeptical this would go smoothly as I usually try to have friends or family check vehicles out for me but we all know how that can be. I found VPS on Yelp and after doing some research by visiting his website along with the many reviews on Google/Yelp I decided to take the plunge. I contacted Dave via text late on a Saturday and was texted back that same night. He ask for a link to the vehicle I was interested then without asking pulled the Carfax of the truck and showed that it had been in a minor accident. We discussed more and I decided I was serious and ready to make the purchase. Dave swiftly took over and made an appointment with the seller, scheduled a basic vehicle inspection that included a diagnostic check as well as 10-20 photos of the body and undercarriage including a short video of the engine idling that I specifically requested. I then proceeded to negotiate a price with the seller that we eventually locked in. I was able to send the funds directly and securely witch gave me added piece of mind. Dave met with the seller got all the paperwork taken cared of (notary, title, bill of sale, etc) as well scheduled/coordinated a new windshield replacement that the seller agreed to take care of prior to selling me the vehicle. Lastly Dave was able to clean, prepare and store the vehicle safely till we could schedule shipping to me. Dave went above and beyond my expectations! He was willing to help with whatever was needed. Reliable, friendly, vehicle knowledgeable and great communication. This was the smoothest out of state purchase I have ever done. I will definitely use vehicle purchasing service in the future. SAFE, EFFICIENT and Reasonable! Thank you very much. VPS - "Enjoy your life, I got this" Best Regards! Daniel

I really can't say enough about Dave! My family has been working with him for all of our car…read morebuying needs for over a decade, and he is the only one we trust. Not to mention, his fee is an insane deal (and he really should be charging more for the incredible service he provides!). I was finally ready to buy my first car this month and I knew immediately that Dave would be the only one I would trust in my first car buying experience. He found me the PERFECT car well within my budget and worked with me all along the way to make sure I felt comfortable and that I was informed of all the important information. He made the entire process so easy and stress-free, and I can't think Dave enough for finding me the perfect car that I absolutely LOVE, which we signed for today! You don't need to look any further - Dave is your man! Incredible service, incredible price. Worth every penny and more!

Bought a 2021 ford ranger lariat fx4 from them back in Feb. The salesperson messed my name up on…read moreall the paperwork and had to be told multiple times what he did wrong to get it fixed. When he corrected it, he only corrected it on the DMV paperwork, not the auto loan, warranty, gap insurance, or any other paperwork. I pointed this out to them multiple times and they didn't correct it, resulting in me having to call all those institutions and get it corrected myself. He also did not flag the lifted truck option on the warranty he sold me despite the truck being lifted. They fixed this last part for free without any cost to me, so I guess they get half a point for effort there. Now that we get past the initial paperwork part of where this purchase went wrong, let's get into the mechanical issues with the vehicle. On my test drive, I noticed a burnt rubber smell coming from the left rear of the vehicle that I now know is symptomatic of a leaking rear axle seal. The power train warning light was also on the truck. I reported both of these things to the dealer and they said they would fix it with their partnered shop. They took the truck to the shop and told me they need to replace the wiring harness to correct the power train issue error. After that, they had to send the truck to a local transmission shop for a rebuild of the transmission, and that shop told me that there was an axle seal leaking. I passed that information on to the dealership to see if they would fix that or if I would have to, and they completely blew me off. Because of weeks back and forth where the dealership told me repeatedly that they'd communicated with other parties and then I call those parties and they all state they never heard from the dealership, I decided I no longer trusted that dealer or their mechanics at all and I took the car to a ford dealership. Immediately spotted the seal issue and diagnosed that the transfer case motor wasn't engaging. Swapped the motor and then had to diag that the wiring harness was messed up. I would not recommend buying a car from overstockvehicles or their partner organization valleycargroup. The only positive of this experience was getting them to foot the bill on a transmission rebuild for a vehicle that has known transmission issues.

My mom told me about this company as I was looking to sell my 2022 BMW 330i M Sport that had 37,000…read moremiles on it. Kelly Blue Book value on it was about $31,200 for a private party sale and about $26,000 on the low end for the trade-in value. I expected this company to offer me something in between, but they offered me a low $25,000 for it. The vehicle was in in pristine condition...not a scratch on it. I took such good care of this car, only using premium top tier gasoline, ceramic coating the exterior, never running it through an automatic car wash, only using synthetic oil, applying heat blocking ceramic tint to protect the interior, etc. I told them all of this but they didn't care and were firm on their low $25,000 offer. I wound up selling the vehicle privately for $31,000 through a Facebook Marketplace ad...$6,000 more than what this company offered. They advertise as beating Carmax and Carvana...but that's blowing smoke up people's you know what. A December 9, 2025 post to their Facebook account states that they will beat Carmax's offer and if they can't they'll pay you $100. I went to Carmax and they offered me $26,400 for the car. When I contacted GetYourVin about the $100 for not beating Carmax, the lady i spoke with played dumb and said she wasn't aware of the ad and then said she checked with management and no one responded to her. After some back and forth, the business denied the existence of the ad even though I provided screen shots. I then went to the BBB to file a complaint and the business responded stating that there are terms and conditions to the ad on their website, which, to me weren't easy to find. Buried in their FAQ is the FAQ with all the hoops you have to jump through. You have to actually sell your car to Carmax to receive the $100. The Facebook post is super misleading and I won't ever do business with this company. You shouldn't either.

Why am I always having to apologize? but I am willing to admit when I was wrong. I purchased a car…read morehere and didn't like it returned it and finance treated me with nothing but respect even though I was being a jackass. They returned all my money and even found a car that was in brand new condition (no dents/headliner damage/electrical issues) ; it also came with brand new tires and fewer miles. I resigned the new deal the same day I would like to thank the salesman who led me to the BEST CAR ON THE LOT and didn't try to pawn the garbage off on me like other salesman try to do. I am sorry to the finance team for everything I said which I admit was inaccurate. The finance team is the best here they didn't fumble the numbers as I had previously suspected. I am sorry for the false accusation. Had the salesmen sold me the best car in the lot everything would've been fine. Thank you my friends in finance. Again I apologize. And yes I do remember you from our past life before we went into business together. Thank you. Much love. You all are appreciated I look forward to purchasing many more cars from you in the very near future. All test drives need to include touching the freeway. That's not finance fault. I just wasn't allowed to test the car as I would've liked, where I finally bought the car the salesman gave me the keys and told me be back in 30 minutes, as opposed to holding my hand and giving me turn by turn directions. Thus I was dissatisfied with the test drive. Finance were the only ones really watching out for me the vehicle was a lemon but that was my fault rushing the deal to get out of there. Can't blame a salesman for trying to sell something. Though I'm sure he wouldn't sell that car to his own son. So I basically expect to be treated like family with any big purchase. Next time treat the customer as you would your own family. That's to all the salespeople out there. Jesus loves and forgives us. Please accept my apology.

I didn't realize it at pickup, but once I did, I called the dealership. They checked and couldn't find the key, then refused to cover the replacement--basically dismissing it as cheap and easy to fix. I ended up paying $215 out of pocket ($75 key + $140 service) just to ensure I could access my own car if the fob fails. This was a clear oversight on their end, and the lack of accountability was disappointing. Receipts available. I'll update this review if they make it right.
