Over two years now since Scottsdale Ferrari has failed to honor my blown speaker, and all they do is make excuses, claiming they fixed it. They did not fix it under warranty, when I brought it in under warranty. It is still broken. Even the service guy, when I brought it in a few months ago, and listened to my recording of the blown speaker, called it out as a blown speaker immediately. I don't want to tell others- because it is hard as heck to buy a new Ferrari- but the people are great! David Mase doesn't just want to help;only, when buying a Ferrari. (His knowledge in other vehicles is vast) which helped me in my Ferrari decision and when making feature decisions (812GTS and Purosangue.). Gary Simon has also been extremely helpful- a great combo of knowledge, experience and easy to talk too I also own a Lamborghini- well.... the Urus is a great car ... and fortunately I have not had any car issues - if I did....Let me say that David Mase is a great Ferrari salesman ... working mainly on Ferrari side - but, you might want to see/ ask him he can guide you if you are looking at other Penske groups ..Lambo, Maserati....assistance. BUYERS BEWARE: I purchased from the Scottsdale Ferrari Dealership a 2017 Ferrari 488 Spider / traded in a 2006 Ferrari 430 Spider - long distance sale - I reside in St. Louis Mo. The sales / negotiations stared in the end of June 2024 and as of today I am still owed 1 item on the "We Owe" document, which they have refused to honor. It was agreed upon and I received a signed "We Owe" document that I would receive a 2yr Warranty & 2yr Maintenance Program backed by Ferrari North America and described by Ferrari as MAINPOWER15 WARRANTY. After doing a wire transfer and reviewing the documents I found out that the 2 yr Maintenance Program was not included in the documents. I was never told that it was not included, and I only found out by doing my due diligence and reading the documents. I wonder if they would have ever told me. I would have never agreed on terms of the sale without this Maintenance Program - (sounds like a little bait and switch). I called and ended up speaking to the sales manager Carl DeRiso and was told it supposedly didn't qualify, but I was offered and agreed upon to be paid $5,000 to me for the equivalence of 2 years of maintenance at my local Ferrari dealership in STL. ($2,500 per yr). I received a revised signed "We Owe" document stating this agreement. The dealership has not made payment of the $5,000, stating the condition of my F430 trade in. I have acted in good faith through this entire process. On 6-24-24 I texted photos of my F430 and received a text asking for additional info. On 6-25-24 I emailed 2 documents 1) invoice of new tires June 2024 from STL Ferrari $3,300. 2) emailed a certified inspection 9 page report of my F430 completed by STL Ferrari. With in 1 hour of sending the email, I received an offer from salesman Petros Kompouras & GM Chad Morgan. Between 6-25 & 6-28 I received a total of 4 additional offers (going back and forth with different options etc.) but it always included the MAINPOWER15 Warranty. The deal was agreed upon and I received a thank you text from GM Chad Morgan. On 7-10 my F430 was picked up from STL and shipped to Scottsdale Ferrari. Why I mention the timeline, I NEVER ONCE received a phone call / text / email from the salesperson Pertos K. who I spoke to over many occasions; sales manager Carl D. spoke to 3 times or GM Chad Morgan regarding / inquiring about any additional information of my F430. Never did they ask for additional info. All they wanted to do was to close the deal. On 7-12-24 The dealership came in full possession of my F430 before shipping the F488 to STL. The acceptance of the vehicle and shipping of the F488 tacitly binds the dealership to the agreement, and they had ample opportunity to review the F430, and to now suggest that I am not owed the $5,000 is simply absurd. FYI- the main concern on my F430 was a battery issue. I had my attorney send a demand letter to Scottsdale Ferrari, LLC; PAG West, LLC & Penske Automotive Group. Inc. only to receive a zero response. I am to find out that by signing all the documents I have given away some rights and need to settle by arbitration - which is a complete joke and burdensome. I find it hard to believe that a dealership could put all of this in writing with a "We Owe" document and simply not honor our agreement knowing the odds of arbitration is in their favor. Buyers Beware - getting signed documents at Scottsdale Ferrari are meaningless. read more

Called in and asked for a PPI for a gtc 4 lusso. Put on hold for over 6 min and the snooty service advisor basically told me to go and pound sand.. They said they weren't interested in helping with a PPI and told me to go elsewhere... I guess a guy who owns 5 ferrari vehicles can't get help... If this is the level of service this dealership provides I'd like a call from the service director... Wow... terrible experience at best. read more

Buying a new car from Scottsdale Ferrari/Maserati is actually a very pleasant experience! We worked with Pamela Sassi, who is extremely knowledgeable about each of the vehicles we looked it. When we finally narrowed our choices down, she was fair and reasonable as we worked to landing on a price. Just the opposite from other car dealers and their pushy sales people. I was driving through all the luxury dealerships this morning just looking for a new toy that I didn't need and this guy waved at me. He didn't run up to me and try to sell me something, in fact, he didn't even look like a sales person... I don't even think he had any skin in the game.. He was putting a paper mat inside of a car so I'm assuming he was a lot tech or service person. It probably doesn't seem like a big deal, but it's a big deal to me. Too many people now days don't bother doing something simple like that unless it's made mandatory by an employer- they just don't understand how far a good/positive attitude will take you not only in employment but in life. Even if Ferrari requires that people wave to guests, there were other things he did that were above and beyond...Ferrari, this guy was fixing his belt, pants and shirt and making sure that he looks sharp, moving with a purpose, waving at customers, making sure the door was respectfully closed on the car etc.... And that's just what I gathered in about two seconds while driving by... if this guy wants to move up, I would suggest promoting this guy to almost any position above where he's at now, in a customer service capacity.. he's a great ambassador.. I'll drive by again and watch for him.. if he's not happy, maybe I'll steal him from you! read more

This was the first time that I had to work with Scottsdale Ferrari and Maserati and I was thrilled by the way that I was treated by my Service Advisor- Mike Sulzle. Not only was Mike extremely knowledgeable and professional but he was also vfriendly and accommodating. He got us into a loaner Maserati within a matter of minutes and kept me informed throughout the entire repair process. Upon picking up our repaired vehicle, he took me and my son over to the the Penske Racing Museum inside of the facility and went out of his way to ensure that we saw some really cool stuff. I purchased a one year old Porsche. As a part of the transaction, I traded my Mercedes and was told that the car was involved in a recall. As a result of the recall I was told that they couldn't offer me much for my trade because they would have to store the car until the recall repair was completed (airbag deaths). When I returned to drop off a spare car key, my car was on the lot for sale, with no mention of the recall on the window sticker. I feel cheated. read more

I bought a 2004 BMW 6 series from Mo and I was extremely satisfied with not only his knowledge of the product but also in the way he treated me. From the time that I spoke with him on the phone until the next day when I arrived at the dealership to see that he had pulled the car out that I wanted and had it waiting for me in the front. I bought a 2009 Maserati from Penske/Scottsdale and it has been a lemon right from the start, Rattles from hell that never go away, seats that move back and forth on their own after you put the front seat down like robots but none is more maddening than the most recent affront -- an entertainment system/navigation screen that reboots whenever it wants to and goes dark so you can't see what's on or what's what. I reported this problem while it was under warranty (I have the email notification confirming the timing) but they said they couldn't find anything wrong (yes, THAT ploy again). So two weeks ago I returned it to Penske in Scottsdale to fix the problem they said they originally couldn't find. Suddenly, they found it. Wouldn't you know they wanted over $4,000 to replace the system (and a few hundred more to "expedite" it by the time I got home (I was out of town). No screen, no navigation, no radio for an ex-radio program director and dj as well as music industry professor. They're fine with it. A Mercedes Benz SL is no Maserati in my book unless you don't like radios and navigation systems that work. The dealer won't pay to make it right. Maserati won't pay to fix a reported warranty problem. So I am suing. In the meantime: Spoiler Alert for both. Shop around for other options outside the Maserati world and the anti-consumer practices of Penske. read more

I'm sorry to say I had a unpleasant experience this morning at Scottsdale Ferrari. My family and I came In to look at a Jaguar they had listed on there Web site. The man we ran into did not introduce him self and gave us the feeling we weren't welcome. We understand that the particular car was in service due to the dealer just getting the car, and being a holiday service was closed. He told us there was no way to get the key or check out the car. The salesman seemed to pay more attention to us when my aunt told him she has the means and willing to buy. We are seriously unsatisfied with the service we recieved, specifically surrounding such beautiful machines! read more

Where do I start? To make a long story short I contacted the dealership regarding a vehicle they had listed for sale online. I called and made an offer and NEVER heard back from the salesman. A few hours later I called again to,see where my offer stood and it was then that I was told NO they did not accept my offer so I made another offer and was told they would check and get back to me. WELL I NEVER heard back. I waited till the following morning and called to see where my offer stood and I was once again told NO to my offer,! Hmmmm have they ever thought about giving me a counter offer?????? Well I guess not. So I made another offer $850 below the asking price and if you could believe it I never got a call back. I called them this morning to find out they sold the vehicle I had made (4) attempts to buy last night. If this is what they call Customer Service I prefer to go to a different dealership where they actually appreciate their customer. Shame on you Penske Auto Group. WORST DEALERSHIP IVE EVER DELT WITH. UNFORTUNATELY I HAD TO GIVE THEM 1 star which they didn't earn. For all you folks out there wanting to purchase a new or used car stay as far away from this dealership as you can. read more

I must say that my experience was very disappointing. I purchased a used Ferrari. The car was shipped to me with a cracked windshield. While the dealership agreed to repair at their cost, I was initially told to "just tell the insurance company that I was driving it and it cracked," and to get the insurance company to pay for it. This is insurance fraud. Also it was not disclosed to me that the car has no spare key nor the owner manual. A spare key alone costs about $700 for a Ferrari. They did not even attempt to see what they can do about it. The car had paint chip on the trunk lid as well as on the hood despite the fact that I was told there is not a scratch. May be the price of the car is low (about $100,000) for a used Ferrari, but its still $100,000 spent and the level of service I must say is lower than that of a local Chevy dealership. I would never buy again at this location. read more

The gentleman in service was nice from what I could gather, FYI. I went to the dealership with a client to service a 458. We entered at different times and at no time did I go into the service office to speak with my client as that matter did not pertain to me. At no time did anyone ask how I was doing, what I was doing, if I needed help or if I wanted water. This is odd for a few reasons but specifically the fact that this is supposed to be a sales environment, location and customs aside. The humorous part was a sales person on a Jazzy damn near backed into me and never acknowledged me though though that would be an opportune moment to excuse oneself and try to sell a vehicle. Another group of people walked right in, right up to me and asked if the blue California was unlocked. I do not work there, though slightly offended (for obvious reasons) and slightly flattered at the same time (because I, like my client, was wearing sneakers), I proceeded to tell one of them a bit about the "odd looking" FF and its inception as he clearly isn't familiar with the product line. Without hesitation someone was right there to assist them on the blue California. I meandered around for quite some time after this, still nothin. read more

Chris Pauken was phenomenal! I asked about the car about 6 months ago, I wasn't ready. There was no pressure kept I touch with me and then I made an apt for a test drive and stood him up. I called hi again and and he just rescheduled - came dressed in rags, with 2 kids and ever so patient he took me for a test drive, then my wife who had multiple concerns about the car, before they left my toddler had a melt down - so we had to put his seat there and go for a test drive. It took 10 min for me to put the darn thing In place. After that - I was just thank full I didn't get kicked out however he never made us feel Not welcomed. We started talking numbers and before you know it - I got a deal I couldn't refuse!!! I called to schedule service for Maserati GT, It took 5 mins for some one to come to the phone , He was very disinterested in providing any service. I asked For need for windshield replacement and new front tires and seat heater problems. He said I should call the glass dept to figure out the glass coverage . He also informed me that they donot open after hrs they are not open on Saturdays, they work only from 730 to 5 pm. Considering the car is worth 150 K one would assume that person owning would be gainfully employed and will need some extended hrs to reach to farthest north end of town. Most people would not waste few thousand dollars worth of their man hrs to bring them business. I am not sure how this place is even functioning. I am used excellent service from our Landrover and Mercedes dealer ships. read more
