I had not had an accident since before cell phones and was totally lost as to what to do. After waiting 3 hours for a tow I got to Classic Collision in Commerce City at closing time. Ida and Brian stayed an hour past closing time to get me in touch with my insurance company and to get a rental for me so I could get home. Brian kept in touch to let me know what was going to be needed and that the parts had been ordered. I was so impressed with the service I got and the friendly approach from the two people I worked with, Ida and Brian. I have my car back now, it is beautiful. I took my car here after an attempted theft that damaged my wiring, fuses, ignition, and lock cylinders. It took about four weeks to get those items fixed, in addition to a few other miscellaneous things that were wrong ever since I purchased the vehicle. They did a great job on the cylinders, but the radio proved to be an issue that took over a week to address (stopped by twice to pick up the car, but the radio was still not functional). During the second trip to pick it up, the radio was finally fixed (ish) while I waited. It's still having some issues with Bluetooth. Also, the alarm works when manually activated on the fob, but it won't set, so it's now virtually useless. What was most disappointing was that they snuck in an extra $375 that was not part of the quote (a simple reprogramming of the fob). I was only informed of the charge as I was paying. They also charged me their credit card processing fee of 3.5%, which nailed me with another unexpected $70. So, the overall quote was off by 21%. I would not go back to this shop due to extended delays, quotes that are off by an excessive amount, and inadequate servicing that failed to resolve all problems. read more

I was in a accident that I was not at fault for. I shopped around to get some quotes on repair. Drake was super helpful and explained why he quoted what he did, and how the price might change due to specific issues under the hood. They ordered all of the parts in before I dropped the car off so that I wouldn't be without a car for as long. They were very patient while we felt with the third party who was paying for the repair! I'll preface this review with my expectations that: I was not expecting my vehicle to be in and out of shop immediately, and trying to be more understanding that COVID may some impact on the timely business. I had my vehicle wrecked into on January 26th and got it towed to BJ's on the 27th. My vehicle was finally completed today, March 2nd - five weeks total for some wheel damage and damage to the side and rear bumper. Initially the estimate for time in shop was two weeks and I got a rental vehicle for that period of time. At two weeks in, I was told there was more damage found during repair and would be another week. At three weeks I was told a part was still missing and would only be a couple days. Days later the part still wasn't in and times continued to get extended. Four weeks and two days in I was told the part was in and repairs would be completed by the end of the day and vehicle would be ready to pickup - mind you my rental contract ended up expiring this day after five extensions - 30 days total. Still, my vehicle wasn't completed and while they told me I could drive it off, I'd have to bring it back for a half day's worth of repairs to finish everything because pieces got damaged during installation. After the weekend I bring my vehicle back in at shop's opening time for the "half day" only to stop by at the end of the day and see it wasn't worked on whatsoever. I was given a loaner car until the next day and my vehicle wasn't ready until the end of that day. And to top it off, not only was part of my cargo area dirty from their work (with some minor scratches), a wheel had been replaced as part of the damage was missing the center cap, something that should've been replaced, which I've decided to replace myself and not have to deal with this shop any further. If I can catch these errors right away than the people who had my car for over a month should be able to as well. I understand things come up and repair times can be extensive, but this experience was continually full of empty promises, not taken care of in a timely manner, and not up to customer expectations upon vehicle return. The repairs are fine and my car is drivable again, but I cannot recommend this place after this whole ordeal. read more

Unfortunately my previous review was removed due to "terms of violation ". I was just sharing my current negative experience at Bj's auto shop. My truck was broken into and destroyed at the beginning of December, I decided to bring into Bj's auto shop based on their reviews but ended up being dismissed multiple times by Robert with multiple empty promises that left me in a panic with my rental vehicle. I was supposed to be accommodated with a loaner vehicle through their shop and took multiple attempts to complete, there was no communication. I was left with no option but to use my destroyed truck that had been marked as unsafe by my insurance company. It had not been worked on well it sat there for 4 weeks, it took 28 days for parts to be ordered. I'm currently working with the manager Drake, he is very kind and stays in contact but we are still going on 7 weeks on a dashboard. I hope to be somewhat compensated for the experience but this will be up to the owner. read more

Bj's was so kind to us and outstanding in terms of their customer service! This is a place that cares. My daughter's Subaru was stolen from our house 3 weeks ago and subsequently recovered in sad shape. First BJ himself was so accommodating, we met him at his shop on Saturday morning. When I returned to my home I realized I left my phone in the car after we dropped it off. We weren't able to get back to the shop in time but he was so kind he left it covered where I could get it as soon as we returned to the shop. Then they quickly assessed the car for damage and got the claim process settled on that Monday! And even though we did not end up getting the car repaired there, the kindness and understanding and speed of this process was such a great experience. Thank you! read more

I am eternally grateful for BJ's Auto Body Shop! I was rear-ended at the end of June, 2022 and the car was not legally drive-able because the rear lights were damaged. Even so, I called several other body shops and they seemed annoyed and said they would not even be able to get me in just for an INSPECTION until August 5th, which meant I would not qualify for a rental for 2 months, something the other body shops didn't seem to care about - they just flat out said no. This was unacceptable due to my needing a car to get to work. I called BJ's one Friday and Mike told me to just bring it by the shop the following Monday and he'd look at it himself. They got me in that day, inspected the car in 15 minutes, and then told me they'd keep the car so that I could head over and get my rental right away. Due to supply chain issues, they said I wouldn't get the car until sometime in July - I got it back July 29th. However, Mike called me to give me an update every week, which I really appreciated so that I had a sense of the progress being made. The car is almost like new after their work and the detail and care they put into my vehicle. If I ever have auto body needs in the future, I will definitely go to BJ's first because of their stellar customer service and the quality of their work. I will also recommend them to anyone and everyone else in need of work on their car. read more

Incompetent, Uncommunicative, Dishonest. It took 3 weeks to replace a window on my daughter's Jeep. They got it on 11/18. Delivered it on 12/8. Not sure why it took from 11/18 - 12/1 to get the car into repair. I know they had insurance approval long before then. Delays. They ordered the wrong part. Don called on 12/1 to say it was ready but back tracked from that when they realized it was the wrong part - delayed from 12/1 to 12/4. They don't follow-up with suppliers to make sure the item is being delivered timely Each time they had to order a part, it took 3 days. You'd think they'd advocate for their customers and get their suppliers to be more responsive - delay They failed to properly diagnose that another part also needed to be replaced. After installing the correct part on 12/4, they then realized the actuator was damaged. That's another delay, this time from 12/4 to 12/8 They never called back. On 12/7, Don said the part should come in. It never did. You'd think he'd call to let me know. Nope. He just went home. When I called the next morning to express my frustration, Don kept interrupting me, wouldn't listen to me, then eventually just hung up on me. Don promised to ask the owner to reimburse me for the added rental car costs because of the delays - He now says he will not. read more

They got me in as soon as I called and the repairs were completed in the exact time frame promised. My big beautiful car came back to me shinier than when I dropped it off. Pretty impressed with BJ's! I got in a fender bender and USAA recommended BJ's to fix my Subaru Impreza. I received weekly texts with updates on my car. Robert handled my claim and was always available when I called with questions. The day I picked up my car I was greeted at BJ's with a friendly staff. Unfortunately I had to wait over 30 minutes while they washed it and got it ready for my pick up. At least my car was nice and clean and looked like new! I was very sad and disappointed by my experience after seeing and hearing all of the great things about BJ's Auto Theft & Collision! When I went to pick up my vehicle the battery was dead. The mechanics suggested that I attach the car battery to a home charger, and looked at me like I was crazy when I explained I did not have one. Also, the gas tank was empty and the fuel light was on when I picked it up. Again, the mechanics suggested that I could drive to the nearest gas station to fill up my tank, because they don't have gas on hand for this. I had to beg to get any gas in my tank just to make it to a gas station. After they told me they would remove all of the trash left in my vehicle by the thieves I found an entire box of items in the back that had not been removed. They claim cleaning the interior is part of the "package" but they did such a bad job that I ended up having the upholstery cleaned by a different company. I have also discovered no less than 3 significant scratches and dings on the outside of the vehicle that cannot be buffed out that were not fixed or caught by BJ's Auto. I don't know if they were "rushed" because of COVID-19 or what, but needless to say I will NEVER recommend BJ's to anyone. read more

I have a Raptor and it got hail damage, the paint was done in the worst way, this will be the 3rd time I am taking my truck back there to get work done on it, they do not do it right the fist time, you have to go back over and over and over and over if you want it done right. I would not have these guys work on anything since they do not know how to fix a truck the right way. The paint is the worst paint job I have ever seen, and they even put dents that come outward on the truck, they try to cut corners and fix it the easy way not the right way read more

My car got broken in to and man is that ever a mess to deal with. I came to BJ's since they are the preferred vendor of American Family Insurance. My car was taken in the same day even though they didn't technically have room or the authorization from my insurance to begin repairs and I am so thankful because we had a big snow that night! Don't ever use this company if you want a quality job. They say they have the customer's interest at heart and then they do everything they can to avoid fixing issues they create. I had my car rear-ended and it needed a new alignment. They sent my car to a company who doesn't normally do alignments. When I complained they tried to tell me it was my ball joints. When I took my car to the place that had previously aligned my car, they said it was made up by BJ Auto to avoid responsibility. In addition, I had another problem, again, same thing. They are not worth the hassle. read more

Sat in my car not too long ago, parked under a small tree, hoping it would help protect me from the hail pummeling my Jeep Grand Cherokee. It didn't. I was sick to my stomach. Allstate did their usual best and immediately set me up for an agent to look at my car and give me an estimate to get the damage fixed. I was told the agent would meet me at BJ's Auto Theft & Collision. During the 45 mins the agent looked over my car, I interacted with three different individuals associated with BJ's. By the time my agent was done, she asked, "Do you know where you'd like to take your car?" and I said, "Right here." She smiled and reassured me it was a great choice. Throughout the scheduling, throughout the repair and right down to the day I picked up my as beautiful-as-new car, BJ's did nothing but reinforce the kindness, courtesy and professionalism I experienced on day one. I couldn't be happier with the team... Mike and Drake are amazing, as is everyone else. Should your car require body shop repair, it doesn't matter where you live in the greater Denver area... these guys are more than worth the trip. read more

BEWARE, not a reliable shop! To be honest, my initial experience was good. They took in my vehicle earlier than initially scheduled so that it could "get done sooner for me". They set me up on their automated text update system. They let me know my vehicle was scheduled for pick up a week later... GREAT! However about 4 days later I get a text saying it would be a day after that. Whatever, it's a day. Then less than an hour before it was scheduled to be "done" I get a call saying that it was going to be 2 more days. That I could pick it up Friday or Saturday. Then the day before that I get a call from a manager saying "it will for sure be ready for you sometime on Monday". 2-3 days later now nearing the 2 weeks mark. Terribly disappointed and losing a bunch of money as my car is my livelyhood. I encourage you to find a shop that will stand by their estimates. If they do right by me, then I will change my review rating to reflect that... ***UPDATE: This shop lies and says they are going to do one thing and then does not follow through. I gave them the opportunity to make it right and they made no attempt to follow through with that. STAY AWAY AND CHOOSE A MORE TRUSTWORTHY SHOP. read more
