My first experience with this shop was fantastic. I took over ownership of a vehicle they had serviced before, and when I had them fix some issues for the water pump and hose, they were amazing. January '25, I took my BMW X1 in to fix my heater. Andrew mentioned my car ran very well. They kept my car a week and when I got it back, the engine light came on. The car engine blew in April and when I took it to BMW, they made a video showing a piece that wasn't put back on my engine by Dart that caused the engine to blow. Just go to BMW. read more

I take my 2003 Mini Cooper to DART Auto when it needs major service performed right. A few examples are replacement of the harmonic balancer, clutch, and most recently, the water pump, engine temperature sensor, replacing a damaged air conditioning hose and AC recharge. When DART Auto began servicing my vehicle, I was reluctant to keep putting money into a high mileage vehicle. However, Salvador has been the only mechanic assigned to my vehicle. Sal has become familiar with what needs to be performed soon, immediately, or otherwise. Each and every time Sal works on my vehicle, it's dramatically improved. After this latest service, I discovered why people love the Mini. The pep I never knew existed has been restored. While Sal attends to the immediate, he does not ignore many of the fine details not attended to by previous mechanics. For example, he suggests that I replace missing or broken mounting brackets, broken electrical socket housings, and similar consequential small dollar items. These replacements usually involve very low to no labor costs, "Just order the part, I already have the broken one off your vehicle." This level of service makes me comfortable in recommending DART Auto to any of you. I am extremely happy with them. From their expert service advisor Andrew, to Dave the owner, each is a consummate professional. My money is always well-spent with DART Auto. Thank you. read more

I took my Mini Cooper in after it had died on me while running and I saw the reviews and figured I'd give them a shot since Mini dealership was no help, but soon came to find out they're a lot worse than Mini. First off Andrew will try and stretch out every single word into one long sentence anything just to stop you from speaking and asking questions that leaves you feeling uncomfortable. I took my mini in and told them what the issues were they told me they wanted to replace the fuel pump that had already been replaced given they were charging me $1800 to do so which is more expense than Mini and I decided that was too much to spend on a car that I've spend a lot of money on already and told Andrew that and he kept insisting to get a loan that would help me and I would have monthly payments which still doesn't defeat the purpose how expensive they are charging. I tell Andrew I will pay for the diagnostics and pick my car up over the weekend and he agreed to leave my car out so I can pick it up. They charged me $360 compared to $200 from mini for the diagnostics. When I came to pick my car up the car was not outside the shop like I was told, luckily an employee was there and let me get my car to which I found not put together and called Andrew to which he did not answer me but did answer his employee when he called him and asked him why my car was not put back together and he said he assumed someone els was gonna have to fix it so they left the back seat off along with bolts scattered everywhere and kept trying to justify why they didn't put it back together when I brought them the car in one piece. Very unprofessional service would highly recommend staying away from this scam of a business. read more

I have used DART Auto for repairs on my BMW, VW and several Porsches. Erika at the front desk has always been so cordial, helpful and fun to work with. She does her best to work around my crazy schedule and is always ready to help me out with either a loaner car or a ride to the airport. If my vehicle has something more "interesting" to address, the owner, Dave, takes his time to make sure that I have a full understanding of the work that needs to be completed, as well as the timeline for when it needs to be addressed. He lets me know right up front if the work needs to be done immediately, in the near future, or if I just need to keep an eye out for signs of wear and tear. I had used local dealers in the past, but found Dave and his crew so much easier, better and more pleasant/honest to work with. 5 stars because I think they're honest, do good work (no returns in 2 repairs), and certainly as good as anyone else. Competent mechanics don't work for cheap, German performance, esp. But the cars are far from easy and quick to work on. Ditto on parts. Bite the bullet and have the job done right. (I have solved/repaired some headlight, interior electrical issues myself thanks to internet.) 1st repair was a broken rear spring on a 2002 GSX Passat in 2019. I've done the job on a '64 Chevelle, '68 and '92 Firebirds, '94 Grand Cherokee. One look, no lift, off to the pros. Their yard more full of Porsche and Audis, but most parts on mine stamped Audi anyway. Done on time at estimate cost. Recent work was front axle oil leak and check intermittent CEL. (Been coming on since bought used years ago. Spent $1000+ at another specialist before giving up years ago.) Dart reckons it's a cat going bad. $3000 OEM job. No pressure. Said it won't hurt anything. I appreciate that. These cars need specialists. Wanna do it yourself, shade tree? Get a Jeep. read more

I left a review about 5 years ago and I just want to revisit the fact that DART Auto will be my shop forever! Since that last review in 2013 I have brought in two V-Dubs (Passat wagon and Routan van) and our rarely driven fun car, a '76 Mini. Owner Dave, Erika, and the mechanics have taken such good care of our cars that I've recommended DART to at least 5 other friends. Actually, I recommend DART to anyone who owns a Porsche, Audi, BMW or Mini. Actually, I even recommended DART Auto to my Mercedes-owned friends but I guess they don't service them. Anyhow, I just bought a new Tiguan and had it taken to the dealer for recall/warranty service on Tues. Oh how I wish I could have taken it to DART Auto instead because it has to go back to service at the dealer just 24 hours later because of their incomplete work. When we called them the next morning to tell them what was wrong and that the check engine light was lit (although not previously before) they had already forgotten who we were--Sheesh! In addition, the dealer had no loaner cars (unlike DART's usual offering) and we had to wait forever for a ride home. Here's some advice: Skip the dealer's dog and pony show because all you'll get is corporate fluff. Just deal with DART Auto; you'll get better service and they will remember you because they actually care! read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dart Auto. Andrew and the entire staff go way above and beyond to provide excellent service. When the local Porsche dealer tried to screw us for basic maintenance on our Macan S, which is still under warranty, we contacted Andrew and he was so helpful. He was honest, no games, no b.s. He competently answered all of our questions. We made an appointment for the service and Dart did an excellent job. The car was done on time and returned to us clean. It's not in a great neighborhood, but the shop is spotless, and they keep your car inside at night. We will definitely be using Dart for all of our auto maintenance needs. Previously, I've been a loyal customer of Autobahn Premier Service for many years for servicing my VWs. However, once I moved to Park Hill, driving all the way to Englewood to get my oil changed (and arranging for rides to/from) was a huge hassle, and so I knew I'd need to find a new garage. I saw an ad for DART in the Greater Park Hill News, and decided to give 'em a try! If you mention their ad, they'll give you a free safety inspection (always nice). So, I made an appt. for my oil change and went on in! I had a teensy bit of trouble finding it (Monaco doesn't go all the way through if you're traveling north to 48th, so you have to go around). DART specializes in Porsche, Audi, and VW parts/repairs. They like to tinker on race cars, as is apparent from the photos around the shop, and fun racing stuff like seats and harnesses and shoes. After I dropped my car off, I got a ride back to my house in Park Hill via their "shuttle" (really just one of the employees in his truck, but it was greatly appreciated!). Unfortunately for me, one of my car's CV boots was torn and had to be repaired (the good news is that the joint seemed ok!). They ran out to get the right part for my car and had it repaired by the end of the day! The price was reasonable for the repair, and everyone at the shop was really friendly. I'm always on the lookout for any shady business, since I'm a lady, but these guys seemed completely top-notch! I was really satisfied with my visit, and I will definitely be back for any repairs/routine maintenance that my W8 needs! read more

My experience with DART was great! I'm from out of town and will be moving to CO by year end. I was around on vacation a few weeks ago and needed to get an oil change (my car made it over, before me). Not knowing where to go (i normally dont go to the dealers and rather support the indie mechanics) i turned to yelp. I was torn between 3 places (all good reviews) but decided on DART based on their deal. When i got to the shop they gave us a loaner and told me to "use it as long as you need" which was great because i didnt want to waste an hour of my vacation waiting at an auto shop! My brother and i managed to get breakfast and run a few errands and came back to my car waiting for ME! There are a few problems with my car i need to get fixed, but i do know i will be bringing it back to DART when i settle in. Thanks again! read more

Yikes! I was really concerned about picking out a shop to work on my newly acquired 1976 Porsche 914. Based mainly on the strength of their website, and Yelp, I gave them a try when it developed a problem with the shifter linkage (wouldn't go into 1st or reverse). Talked to Dave, the owner, on the phone and got a good feeling about the attitude (or lack of it) at his place. I had this terrible vision of Porsche gear clad assholes sneering at me for having the audacity of rolling up in my mere "Volkswagen of a Porsche". Turned out there is NO attitude at all here. My repair took 3 days (I had no appointment) and the tab was very reasonable. Also got a complete check-up on the car done, and had some recommendations for some needed work down the road. Didn't get any grief when I explained that the finances would have to recover a bit first. 2nd visit was all of two days later. Had a new failure in the 914. The throttle kept getting stuck open and my attempt at fixing it only made it worse (broke the slack adjuster). Limped in at constant 3500 rpm and parked it with a mighty backfire. Dave and company looked it over, and suggested a complete work-up on all things throttle. Picked up 2 days later with a $100 tab. Pretty sure this will be my go-to shop fro here on out. read more

I feel I can always trust them, prices are very fair, honest, courteous, provide loaner when available, drop me to my home if needed, will fix what is needed as apposed to finding new problems (ghost problems) that never ever even existed. Wow! A shop that I might actually feel like I can trust? Tell me more........ I'm new to town, just bought my winter car (Passat) 3 weeks ago which craps out on me already. Brought it in to Dart because of the good reviews here. Talked to Dave the owner and got a good feeling right off from him. Came back to have the car fixed after the paperwork on my extended warranty went through. Dave, Steve and the mechanic I talked to were all helpful, patient with my questions, they weren't pushy, and what they said made sense (which is how I try to weed out the shops that are only after your credit card). They could have tried to push me on expensive repairs, but they did only what needed to be done to get the car going again (about $200, which was not covered by the warranty, but was really reasonable). They even gave me a ride home when I dropped the car off to be worked on. Without my even asking, Dave was able to find out some background on my car and told me that I might want to consider the car's past and whether I wanted to keep it or not. This was EXTREMELY helpful! That to me is the sign of someone who is concerned with what's in my best interest vs. just upping your bill and having you continue to come back for more. He will continue to get my business as long as that level of honesty is kept. I found him to be trustworthy and I will be back, whether I keep this car or not. read more

Clean shop, definitely know their German cars but they are expensive ! Don't be lazy know your car, do your research , don't be too eager ! Call around and compare you'll find that they are as pricey or on par with dealerships. And for some reason I wasn't allotted a Loaner as my co worker who referred me touted. I've been to Dart Auto twice now for my 2009 VW Rabbit. I've been very impressed with their customer service and thoroughness. I moved to Denver a year ago and have been looking for a shop that I can trust and I definitely feel like I've found it. I checked out a couple of other shops before finding Dart but either didn't feel they had enough VW experience or didn't feel like I could 100% trust them. Dart made me feel confident on both fronts right away. My last visit they squeezed me in the same day to take care of a couple of minor problems and then only charged me a handshake. You don't see that kind of old school customer relationship building these days, especially from a car repair shop. They earned themselves a loyal customer. read more

I am not happy over all w/ this company!! I bought $100 worth of spark plugs from this place online, and all of the plugs were w/out box and w/out tip cover...all of them were just in a plain plastic bag!! Some of the plug gaps were screwed up because of the careless handling. I just can't believe they let it happen this!! read more

The owner does not care about his customers and says it's not worth it to him to correct the problem We had a pre-purchase inspection done on a Porsche and they failed to advise us of rust and in fact checked off the box for rust as "OK," where rust was fully visible at the window line. They failed to secure a panel on the oil pan and it came loose and was flapping all over! SHODDY WORK and they do not care about customers! read more

So disappointed. The lady at the front desk is easily agitated and can get pretty nasty. I took my 04 Beetle TDI here due to a loss in boost. They replaced the MAF sensor and the vacuum pump and it ran great for a while. I felt like I had been overcharged as they did additional troubleshooting without my knowledge then charged me for it. But it ran like normal again so I let it go after my husband jumped in and argued with them for a while. Fast forward 4 weeks and I get under the hood to do an oil change and notice wire holding my turbo inlet hose to my turbo. The coupling is inserted in a funky angle and looks like it will fall out without the wire. For what I paid to have my car fixed, I never expected to find a bailing wire fix under the hood. A week later and I completely lost boost on my way in to work. a couple miles down the road I start smelling oil and the oil idiot light starts flashing. I call up Dart Auto to get my car back in so they can fix it for real this time and the front desk lady asks me if I really want to bring it back to them since I seem so unhappy with their work. If that is really how they do business I want nothing to do with this place. Redneck fix stuff, charge dealer prices, then when someone wants you to fix it properly, tell them to go somewhere else because your not trustworthy. Sounds like one heck of a scam to me! read more
