Thank you so much for your help. You guys go to the latest mile to help your customers, best service ever

Cool small place to find all your nick nacks and special cake decorations! They do the photo screen prints for cakes too! (For a new cake idea for that special someone) And dairy Queen goes through them too (FYI) read more

Still the best little cake store around!!! I make the drive because of the selection and the customer service. Will continue to go to Classic Cakes! read more

Was calling around baking supply stores looking for gold pearls in different sizes, adriana(i think that was her name) picked up and was very helpful. She even texted me pics of how the gold looked because i was looking for a specfic color of gold and 2 sizes. Since they only have one gold color in one size, she thought outside the box and suggested to me that i can get white pearls and use edible gold spray they have to get different sizes im looking for. Any place with workers that are willing to go out their way to help someone through the phone only goes to show they have great customer service. Thanks adriana! read more

I went here to get some sprinkles for my cupcakes. I over heard the lady at the counter talk to a customer about their royal icing mix. Hearing that, I started asking about the mix too. The counter lady snorted, said I can't use it on cupcakes and then just stood there staring at the wall. Knowing that I asked a dumb question, that COULD HAVE been an opportunity to sell me something more appropriate for cupcakes. Or to even ask if I really wanted to use it on cupcakes vs cookies (I wanted to learn how to decorate cookies)! From that rude behavior, I'm turned off from wanting to sign up for their classes or buying their products. read more

It's great for the things I need. Small but adequate. My problem is the service. The women aren't very nice or helpful and tried to over sell me products as if I didn't know how much I use. I'll keep going there because I use their products but if I found somewhere else I wouldn't hesitate to change my loyalty. A little friendliness goes a long way. No one likes to go in somewhere and feel unwelcome. I'm giving you my business, try and be more appreciative. read more

Awesome place. I go here to get my pastry bags, and food coloring dyes. However I would buy silpats on amazon as its about 10 dollars cheaper. read more

While this shop has a good selection of baking supplies, their employees are so RUDE and off putting. They own and work in a cake shop, I'm not sure what makes them so miserable that they have to spew their ugly personality to their customers. Not only that, but they gave me misinformation. Went in looking for large couplers for my Wiltons frosting tips. She told me Wilton makes medium and large and it would be hard to tell which one is required. That wasn't my question lady, it was whether you carried the large ones or not. Anyway, I found what I was looking for at Michaels, which had small and large. No medium. And Michaels employee was super nice and helpful. I won't be coming back to this cake shop. They should just go out of business. read more

Always knowledgeable and friendly! I live 5 hours away, but make time to stop by when I'm in town to stock up on my supplies.

I've been a loyal customer here for years! This tiny little gem of a shop has just about everything that you would need to rock out a school bake sale, or craft your very own wedding cake! They have everything from candy molds, cookie cutters, cake pans, novelty decorations for the top of sheet cakes, flavorings, gel and powdered food colorings, cake fillings (I love the lemon and rum flavored fillings) and you can buy frosting ready made. That makes popping out several dozen cupcakes a breeze. They also sell cake boxes and boards, for a really professional looking product. read more

This place looks old from the outside and is much older on the inside but it's packed full of cake & candy stuff and knowledge.

This place is kind of on the small side BUT everytime I go there the ladies behind the counter are sooooo friendly and know what they're talking about. I've never gotten an "ummmm....I don't know". Even though I have cake supply store 2 blocks from my house I'll drive the extra mile to come here. read more

The shop is super tiny and crammed. They do have a lot of goodies everywhere, BUT their prices are insane compared to other cake supply stores. They lack customer service skills...not friendly or approachable at all. The woman stared at me like I was going to steal something, yet she's the one that looks like she needs to be watched. Sorry, the store in Orange wowed me with their customer service and knowledge and I was hoping these people would do the same...ummmm NOT! read more

Been a loyal customer here since 1988! They carry everything you need for decorating cakes, cupcakes, cookies & more! Is also my go to place for chocolate lollipop supplies. They sell the Merckens brand chocolate wafers (which cost more than the Wilton candy melts from Michaels) but I prefer to use them for my lollipops & cake pops. read more

I absolutely love this place! From chocolate, frosting, molds and everything in between! Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. They are also so patient with me and give me such great advice. Another thing I LOVE about classic cake is their edible images. I print all my edible images from here and Larry is amazing. He is so sweet and always helps me with my orders. read more

This little gem is all I need! They have just about all you can possibly need for a novice to an experienced baker and cake decorator. From plastic cupcake toppers to silicone molds and impression mats. All of which are priced to sell! The two ladies were super kind to me and my four young children....which was the true test!!! The gals were helpful and kind. I will definitely be back again! read more

I had heard about this place from a friend and I finally went today and my experience was so fast and easy! They're moving locations October 31st to move to a new location and I can't wait to see what else they have in store! Marcey helped me out and she was so sweet and made the experience want to keep coming back! I even signed up for the rewards program which took less than a minute! Can't wait till they open their new store November 5th!! read more

Not as big as Calico but still... i love this place!!! they have some selections that calico does not have which is a big plus! Their premade frosting is a lot tastier than Calico! The staff here are very helpful and so sweet and friendly! read more

This is the best place to get your chocolate to make candy! The chocolate is totally fresh and there is always plenty in stock. I have never made a bad batch of candy buying my chocolate there. There is also a great selection of sprinkles to decorate the candy with. The candy making classes are awesome - fun, so easy and you get to eat what was made at the end! Yum! The ladies are polite, friendly, helpful and I love shopping at a local store! read more

Great store! Excellent customer service! Tonya totally helped me by sending me pictures of sugar flowers that I needed for a wedding cake. She saved me time by helping me over the phone first. Also, was helpful with advice when I got to the store. It was my first wedding cake and it was for my daughter's wedding. I so appreciated her help. It's the small things that sometimes have the greatest impact. read more

This is the best place to get any cake decorating things that you could ever need! The customer service is amazing along with their buttercream frosting. If you need to learn how to decorate cakes! Don't worry they offer cake decorating classes. They have everything you need for any special occasion... 5 Starts all the way!!! read more

This place has a great selection of everything you would need to make cakes and homemade candies and treats. They have fillings, ready - frosting, frosting ingredients, colorings, sprinkles, edible glitter, cake pans, boxes, themed decorations, candy molds, melting chocolate ... and almost anything else you might desire! They even print edible images. And the staff is always been very nice and helpful. They have recipes for different ideas and will explain how to make them. Just the other day, they took the time to package a flavored chocolate that had just come in and wasn't yet ready for sale and to check stock for another item I needed that day. I recommend Classic Cake to all of my friends! read more

Tiny shop but has exactly what you need. I get tired of going to Michael's or Hobby Lobby and still end up with one or two items I can't find there. read more

If you're looking for supplies to make and decorate cakes or cupcakes, create molded candies, etc. this is your place. These types of specialty stores are rare so I really appreciate it when I find a gem like this. I popped in for my first time to pick up some gel paste and tips I needed and I was very pleased with how nicely arranged and organized everything was. The store is laid out very well. They have a very large supply of molds. I do cakes and cupcakes so I was more interested in what they were carrying for decorating and baking supplies. I'll definitely be back for more. I joined their rewards program as I'm sure I'll be a faithful customer. They also have a beautiful website that offers you the ability to order supplies online as well as recipes, ideas, etc. They also provide classes. read more

I just found out about this place and I'm so glad I did! It's heaven for bakers, they have everything you need and their customer service is great. The nice lady at the checkout counter helped me pick my colors and the right tips for decorating sugar cookies. I will definitely be back. read more

This stores customer service is off the charts! Thank you for always treating me as if I was a long time friend! Love you guys!!!

What? Only one review? You've gotta be kidding me! I absolutely love this place. I'm an amateur baker with a love for making all things pretty so Classic Cake is like a playground for me. Lately I have been baking a lot and I love browsing this store for different equipment, ingredients, decorations, you name it. They have everything! It seems that every time I go, I get sucked in and look for things other than what I went for. Whenever I have a special occasion to attend, I always visit Classic Cake for colored chocolate to make something special. The ladies behind the counter are also kind and helpful so be sure to ask questions if you have any! read more

I went in here with my two daughters ages 1 and 3 and was greeted instantly by two very friendly ladies. They were super helpful and super sweet to my daughter when she ran behind the counter. I didn't think their prices were overly high and yes the store is small, but there is so much in it. I would have bought more if not for my kids :). Going back soon. read more

I think the last time I was at classic cakes was about 10 years ago when I was making a lot of candy suckers. They have every mold you can imagine. I came in on Monday to pick up some icing and raspberry filling for a pink baby bootie cake I was attempting to make for the first time. The ladies in front that helped me were amazing. They helped me so much and were so nice to me. They could tell I wasn't sure what I was going and walked me through it anyways. I'm not a professional baker but I wanted this cake to be perfect. They gave me tips on the borders, how to put the filling in without it oozing out. Sold me the perfect tips I needed for the icing and showed me how to do it. Well? Let me just say my pink baby bootie cake was perfect! It looked professional and it tasted amazing. The filling was so good. Everyone went nuts. Thank you so much for all your help. I will definitely be back in when I get orders for another baby bootie cake. read more

Best Cake Store Ever! The supplies are high quality and the staff is so knowledgeable!! Tonya is the best and is always super helpful!! It's about 45 minutes from me but well worth the drive!! read more

Tiny shop, huge selection. The staff is helpful if you ask them questions. They have the best chocolate for making cake pops (or other chocolate melt things). I havent found another store like it, its worth the trip. Also its reasonably priced for being a specialty shop. read more

This place is amazing. The quality of their product is of very high standard. I get compliments all the time on my candy, cakes and cupcakes. It's all due to the products purchased here. Tonya is so kind and always willing to offer suggestions and share her secrets. They have a recipe sheet so you won't forget how to make your candy. They also offer classes for cakes and cupcakes and regardless of your skill level they are great classes. Be careful this may become your newest hobby. read more

Overpriced. Small selection. Poor customer service. Overall not great. I'll probably drive further to get what I'm looking for from now on.

I have never in my life been into a store with such RUDE employees. They are literally flat out mean. I saw them degrade a woman before my eyes for accidentally knocking over something on the counter. Literally, the woman was screaming at her customer. I will NEVER shop there again only because I don't want my money supporting such snobs who think they are better than everyone else. They should be falling over backwards trying to please their customers. DON'T SHOP HERE! read more

These people (mostly family?) have a lot of good ideas for relatively quick and relatively inexpensive party favors, gifts (what do I give the 17 caregivers, teachers and other caring adults in my child's life?) They all know their stuff and will track down any answer they do not have. They will give you instructions and if they are not busy, will really walk you through a project. They know exactly how many dinosaur lollipops you can make with one bag of chocolate, suggest what to decorate them with, and sell you the small bag to wrap each one in. (My dino pops were brushed with green pearl--very cool.) They have edible gold, which is too fancy to believe. A gift you made with ingredients from here is a GREAT solution when you have to be cheap but don't want to look it. You can make Bailey's-flavored spoons for coffee, or grown-up lollipops for the girls with white chocolate polished with pink pearl. La-di-dah! In the fall, they offer a beginner's candy class. It fills fast. Take it if you can. This is not how to make candy canes or saltwater taffy; it is all tips and tricks to make with chocolate melts. Take notes. They also have handouts. Pretty amazing, and you get to take home a whole plate of treats. (At the store, they have a file of their most popular recipes, and hand them out for free.) I deducted one star only because it is extremely crowded and their hours are limited. Who else closes at 4 on a Saturday? (Call first.) These annoyances have probably been what has kept them in business during the recession, so I am willing to live with them. I put "no" for wheelchair accessible; you could maneuver through the first part of the store only (but they are very helpful and would gladly bring you items you can't get to.) A walker would be OK if the user was very careful WARNING: once you make their Peppermint Crunch for gifts, you will be forever known as the Peppermint Crunch person. It can be a burden..... read more

Really poor selection, shitty customer service. Be warned - they don't take returns. You can only get store credit. And they don't warn you about that either - they just point to signs above their heads saying "it's written up there." I was trying to return unused cupcake wrappers. Literally unused, unopened, still in the wrapper. Yeah, never coming back to this place again. read more

I am sooo happy that I found this little gem! So I'm a hobby baker, I do take occasional orders from clients but for the most part, I bake for fun and for the family. I get a lot of my stuff on Amazon, cause I didn't know there was a shop like this. They have all the Cookie cutters for every occasion and Natalie and Tanya are extremely helpful, they know what they're talking about. And the cookie cutters are cheap, about 1.99-4.00. Very reasonably priced. The melting chocolates are more expensive than Michaels, but I love how they melt and all the different colors they offer. Oh and they sell the paramount crystals here that mix in with the chocolate to make it easier to dip your candies or cake pops. They also have every color of gel, luster dust, flavor extracts and little tools that you never knew you needed. Ask about their rewards system and classes offered! I come pretty often and always have a great experience. I recommend them to all my fellow stay at home moms. Will always be my go to place. Thanks, ladies! read more

Called to inquire about a certain product and the girl who answered the phone was so unprofessional. She laughed at me because she didn't know that the item I was inquiring about even existed. Not very knowledgeable and showed very poor customer service. read more

I have been going to a Classic Cake for over 12 years. Over four years ago I moved to Hemet(nearly 2hrs away) and I STILL drive in for my supplies! If I can't make it they will ship what I need The Very Same Day it's ordered, especially edible paper orders! I was sorry to read about some of the poor attitudes, although I never experienced it myself. What does make this a great company is that they acknowledged the problem quickly and noted that they have taken care of it. What more can you ask. I have always experienced courteous, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff...not to mention their products are by far better than any I have found out here! Keep up the good work Classic Cake, you have a customer for life! read more

I really want to like this place, but they are ALWAYS out of molds I need, that are also on their site. Also could probably use 1 more person for staff, I was on my lunch and ended up having to leave without making my purchase because there was only 1 person working and 2 other customers waiting. They always offer to order molds that are out of stock which is nice, but theirs a reason why I'm at the store instead of buying online, because I need it NOW. read more
