I was so sad when Bubba Sweets closed bc I was a regular there. And then I saw that Classic Cake was going to start selling baked goods in the shop, I had been shopping there for years for my own baking needs and the employees are so nice. When I saw their cupcakes I thought they looked like Bubba Sweets, but when I tasted them I was like no way their better then Bubba sweets!! My favorite is the blueberry cheesecake cupcakes! But you really can't go wrong with any choice here! Now I can go here for both my cake decor needs and my sweet tooth needs! read more

Bought some cupcakes here for Easter. I guess this is a new addition to their collection of baking goods and supplies. I got several different flavors . All great the cake is soft and the buttercream is no joke! Yum . I would recomend letting the cupcakes (that are refrigerated when you order in advance ) come to room temperature . I will be sure to visit this shop again to look at all the glitter and sprinkles and molds ! So pass it along and let out this best kept neighberhood secret! read more

Saw this place on Instagram and just had to try it. I am so glad I did because the cupcakes are AMAZING! I went back and bought a couple of dozen for the office and people loved them - I had more cupcakes than coworkers so thought I'd have some to take home, but every single cupcake was gone by the afternoon. When I went there, I was the only customer, and wasn't greeted at all, ironically they have a sign outside that says "we are so happy you are here" , it doesn't seem like it. I grabbed a couple of items and I hear a voice asking "are you ready?" I said yes, lady says nothing, scans items and asks "so just these two items?" In an upset tone, I said yes, I pay with my phone and she says They don't take debit cards. She's chewing gum the entire time, she asked me if I had the physical card (which I unfortunately didn't at the moment) but oh boy she really lacks customer service. I mean the store is already empty and you treat customers like that? This isn't the first time I buy here unfortunately I have to come here when Im in need of cupcake boxes but I have never posted a review for them before. Terrible customer service. I've been going to this place for years. I was done shopping & had put my items on the counter & was immediately scolded about not putting my items on the counter. I stopped & looked around & thought was she talking to me??? Yelling at customers is beyond RUDE!!! It cost nothing to be KIND. I have spent lots of money at this store. And drive 45 minutes to get there to be treated & talked to like that is inexcusable. There are plenty of other store around. I believe small businesses should be supported & that's why I shopped there. I have referred a lot of people to the store. But not anymore I won't. I bought peppermint, coconut, lemon and maple flavor oils last Friday and I used the peppermint oil to make candy cane cookies. The cookies were a success with the right flavor of peppermint with just a quarter teaspoon of peppermint oil. The red color drops I bought were the best as my colored red dough did not stain my hands or my work surface. This confirms my opinion of the high quality of the products sold by Classic Cakes.
