I let her know that we did but no one came. She apologized and said that she will bring us some water. We waited at least 20mins. No water and no shave snow. Disappointed service, so we left. Yes, their wooden stool chairs can become uncomfortable after a while but that is something I can overlook when I am in the mood for Taiwanese comfort food. In the summer, I will sometimes crave their mango mochi shaved ice or their honey boba shaved ice. What made it recently rise in my books is the fact that they can make ALL of their milk teas and teas hot. Even their grapefruit tea. Even their guava tea. Even their yakult green tea!!! I love that drink and no other store I've been to has ever been able to make it hot. And their hot version is delicious! Ended up stopping by here because it was right next door to the restaurant I was grabbing takeout from and I regretted it; should have just went to one of the many other boba spots nearby. When I went to order, the workers there were busy talking to each other and counting money and made me wait quite a while before taking my order. I ordered the yogurt green tea with boba & my boyfriend got the 302 milk tea with boba. He said his drink was fine but I was really, really disappointed by the yogurt green tea - it was so sweet to the point that I could only take a few sips of it; went home, diluted it with water, and the sweetness was still way too much. It tasted nothing like yogurt or tea either, just pure sugar. Warning: Rant. This place is absolute trash to me. I have gone to so many class 302s and this is one of the worst ones (I don't care for any of them). Class 302 needs to see they are a thing of the past. First off, they need to realize that there are 274839273849 other places like it nowadays. Back in the day it was a hype, not anymore. The last time I came here was not by choice. I came here with 6 other people on a Saturday night. We put our name down and waited for a table. We waited for over 40 minutes and we noticed two empty tables. My gf asked if they can pushed the two together later and they said no but we can put extra sits at one table, which is pretty ghetto. So we decided to sit smushed at one table. Mine you it was a super hot day and their A/C was low AF. Then the rules. We all wanted to enjoy their shaved ice since it was a super hot day and basically no A/C. Their rules stated that we had to spend $3 per person minimum, but the catch is everyone has to get one item. Their shaved ice is $7.99 and large, we wanted to split per couple.... You also only have 1 1/2 hours maximum per group and 15% service charge for groups larger than 5. I don't mind rules... butttttttt they aren't that special enough and there are just so many other places to go to. Because of their horrible crap customer service, unbearable nonexistence A/C and all these rules we all left after waiting. This is the last straw. I will never EVER go back to class 302 and I advise you NOT to as well. Class 302, I will never recommend your business to anyone. Your business rules will need to change and the way you treat your costumers will need to change. Otherwise, you will no longer be around or struggle. We decided to sit down this time around, and we ordered a shaved ice with strawberry, honeydew, and mango, and also a side order of popcorn chicken. The shaved ice uses the long ribbon type ice that has milk frozen into it, so the ice itself is sweet, silky, and delicious. The additional fruit just adds to the awesome! They have a few varieties, and you can custom order the toppings too. I've had the green tea shaved ice before, and that was also really good. The popcorn chicken had a great crunchy batter, and the flavor was spot on. If you like Taiwanese style popcorn chicken, this is probably my favorite in Cerritos. You can even see the basil(?) leaves they use for extra flavor. Class 302 has a pretty large menu with noodle soups, other food, and other desserts too. For some reason, it seems like this 302 location is always short handed in staff. I've been here quite a few times already, and each experience was a bit rocky. Interestingly enough, each experience was different ranging from incorrect orders, forgot to bring the order, seating us with children sized chairs bad enough for me to request another table with stools, and once upon a time a gal walking into the men's restroom in use while the door lock was not working, luckily I already zipped... haha. Anyhow, to make a long story short, this place really needs to improve in a few aspects. Maybe hire more help, clean the tables better, serve better shaved snow as it being finer, make it more presentable where it'll look more appetizing. I don't recommend the Oreo saved snow... looks and tastes a bit on the unpleasant side. The experiences we've gone through kinda makes me want to think twice about going and probably what to order. Definitely come here for take out, not for sit-down. I've been going to Class 302 since it opened in Irvine, and I had a friend meetup here recently. I haven't been in a couple years and was excited to have it again. My usuals are the sausage fried rice and the stinky tofu. Both of them tasted just as I remembered them tasting when I was younger. So that's really all I wanted from them. Both dishes are flavorful and generous in terms of portion. The decor is always charming and makes me feel closer to my mom. The main complaint I have is with the service. I'm willing to assume that this is because they are understaffed and they've been more oriented for take-out since that was what most people came for them from I saw, like most of the other locations I've been to, but it took us FOREVER to flag someone down and get out check. This has been an issue at my local 302 location and its sad to see it's still an issue. The food is good, and I love the theme of the restaurant, but the slowness of service has been and is still a big turn off. There aren't even that many tables here. Parking is hard since there is a Gen KBBQ spot here, so I highly recommend budgeting time to find parking. Parking is available, it just might not be super close to the restaurant. I had to park closer to the Lowes in the plaza. It's still an easy walk, just not easily visible to people who aren't local. read more

302, in one word, is reliable. The food is always decently good, but everything sort of tastes like everything else-- five spice-y. Not that I'm complaining, I love five spice. But it would be nice to have different flavors stand out more, especially considering how big their menu is. My go-to is the pork chop noodle, which is deceptively large! I can never finish this in one sitting, which is nice because I love pork chop leftovers. My boyfriend always goes for the bittermelon soup, which makes perfect sense.. cuz I love fried things, and he loves healthy things. :D The boba here is pretty good, shaved snow is also delicious (I still think the OG 302 in Rowland was the pioneer in shaved snow in SoCal). If I were only to review the food, drinks, & dessert, I think I would give it a 4 because it definitely always hits the spot when I'm having Taiwanese cravings. But all their locations seem to hire staff with limited English communication skills that results in a mistaken order at least once per visit. So maybe they could work on that? Showed up, walked into Class 302, only to be ignored by 3 of your staff members. There was one person standing in front of me waiting for someone to take his order. Together, we waited another 5 min, and the idiot cashier boy finally said, oh can I help you? Meanwhile, this guy stood there for 10 min with no eye contact, no one said, "I'll be right with you" - nothing. The same thing happened with me. No eye contact, no communication, nothing. Two more people came in and waited in this line. All being ignored. Only 3 tables inside the restaurant were occupied. Oh by the way, I heard the phone ringing. No one bothered to answer.
