I came by the referral of a friend who swore by her, and got her lashes done often. Sica has a space downstairs of TokTok Beauty on 162nd Street. Parking is hard around this area, and you most likely will need to pay the meter, so be prepared to stay for 1.5-2 hours if you're getting a brand new set done. As I was getting prepared to get onto the bed, she took her time to ask me what my lash goals were and if I was comfortable. One of the things I love about Sica's is that she does not charge you number of pieces (check her price list on her Instagram prior to making your appointment). She advises that she will put on as much as she can based off of how many natural lashes you already have. What also stood out to me is that she cleans and preps your lashes as well as adds a waterproof bond at the end. I travel from Brooklyn to Queens for lash extensions. My first experience with Cozy this year was great, my cashmere lashes lasted at least 5 weeks even though I went to the beach and had gotten them wet/didn't take care of them. My next experience, I tried mink. I got a different tech and after two whole weeks, I barely have any left. Each day, so many lashes would fall off without my real lash hair attached, which means they probably didn't use enough glue or there was an issue with the glue that they used. Unfortunately, since these lash trips are quite the trek for me, I value consistency in all the techs. For Cozy to be a top tier lash place, all techs should have enough experience, so that even if I had to switch techs last minute, I would hope that whoever does it would produce the same results as long as they work for the same place. Cozy was really promising for me--it had every potential to be my go-to lash place. I hope that my honest review will have them consider making sure that their techs are consistently producing quality work, or for them to do quality checks on the glue that they use. Even though Cozy offered me a discount to get this fixed, which I highly appreciate, I just don't have the time to go back to them until 4 weeks later, when I expect to get a new set.

One eye has lashes continually falling out . The lash glue was irritating my eye for days and the lash volume was just noticeably uneven due to fallout in one eye. Finally, ( as I was on vacation then in Myrtle beach a few days later) I went to have them removed . The tech told me whoever did this work placed the extension way to close to my eyelid which is why it's irritated she was able to remove only a few lashes from both eyes as the glue that was used wasn't breaking up from the solution she was using and because the last was put on too close to the eye lid the solution poured right into my eyes Disaster . Be careful ladies bc you don't want these extensions glued so close to the eyelid , it's supposed to be at least 1 mm away from the lid
