Their clearance department is pretty massive and she said she found most of her bargain buys from that entire area. I have been here numerous times since the store opened. I typically go here for Christmas, birthday…read moreshopping, or when I need something for the house. They have 2 entrances, one in the front and one in the back. It can get overwhelming with the cramped aisles and so many people, especially around the weekends and holidays. To anyone who has anxiety or claustrophobia, do not go here on the holidays. But if you come in on a weekday evening or morning, you'll find that it's calmer. They also tend to stock their shipments around those days so you get first dibs on what's fresh at the store. And if you like hello kitty, Disney or other collectables. My pro-tip is to check the trash bins, baskets, and cabinets because sometimes, you'll find a hidden stash of items. One time, I opened a cabinet to find a hello kitty holiday mixing bowl. I ran to the register, past a group customers who did a double take and said "Where did she get that mixing bowl??" Now unfortunately, the only thing I dislike about this location is one of the shift leads or managers. Idk her name. She talks bad about the customers in front of other customers. The person she was speaking poorly of is, in my case, my mom! This happened around Summer of 2025. Now when my mom and I get in line, we always pay separately. We each buy our own items. So when they call us to a register we take turns on who goes first: sometimes it's me, sometimes it's her. It depends on who has the least items. It just so happens this time it was me and that I picked to go to the register with the manager or shift lead - what ever she was. She says hi and I say hello. She offers the store card. I say no thank you. Then she speaks into her microphone thing - "yah that lady that went to your register. Yah, she doesn't like me, she always lets someone else go in front of her so she doesn't go up to me. Can you believe that? I know." I turned to the register she was speaking of, and lo and behold, it was my mom. I try my best to keep a blank face as she's processing my transaction. Then I smile at her (which was very difficult to do). and say "have a great day." Then I go to my mom's register and say "HI MOM I'm done." Then when she was done we both walk back past her. The shift lead was shocked. And I turned and gave her a wonderful look that say a bunch of colorful things. Moral of the story: don't bad mouth other customers. wait until the break room or when you go home. I spoke to my mom afterwards and she said she has no clue who she even is.

She was welcoming, warm, and willing to offer any needed assistance. She went out of her way to make me feel like anything I may need - she was there for it! I appreciate that the store was well stocked and had every size available in the items I was wanting to purchase. This was great for me since the size I needed is unavailable a lot of times in many stores. Best of all I was happy about the pricing for my items. Their stock is made of premium materials, so I understand the high tag prices, which is why I love it when they have great sales available. The store was clean and well kept. Music was playing at mid-level which made it easy to have a conversation without straining. There are no steps or curbs that would prevent handicap access. There are many handicap parking spaces available in the many parking lots and structures surrounding the mall.

Yesterday, Monday, it was packed with ladies. So I went in to see what was going on. A sale. Big sale. 30% off the stuff already reduced for end-of-season. I was immediately greeted by Daisy, to whom I confessed I'd never before stepped into any Chico's. She explained their method of sizes: 0, 1, 1.5, 2, etc. 1.5 is equivalent to 10-12, I think, can't remember. 1 is 8-10 (?). Turns out I'm a size 1, according to Chico's. I've never been a size one in my life, so that made my day. I found a pair of shorts *cough*size ONE*cough* hugely on sale, that fit perfectly. I tried on a couple other things in my own personalized dressing room. Yeah, they wrote "Joan" on a little chalkboard on my dressing room door. Wow. So now I was a size 1 & I had my own fitting room. Life is good. Service was GREAT. Nobody was pushy but definitely attentive. Friendly & professional. My super-cheap shorts were carefully wrapped in tissue & placed in a Chico's handle-bag adorned with a red ribbon. When my sister finally wanted to order something to be sent to her home because they didn't have her size in the store, the Mediterranean salesclerk said she wasn't sure whether they shipped to Hawaii and that she would have to ask her manager. Only then did the Asian "manager" answer, saying that Hawaii is part of the 50 states. The Asian manager was rude, arrogant, and snobby, unlike the store clerk we met at their Seal Beach store, who was polite, friendly, and helpful. That sales clerk and store will get a five-star review from me, but this location gets a one-star review. UPPER MANAGEMENT OR STORE OWNERS, TAKE NOTE OF MY COMMENTS on this, since I will no longer shop at this location!
