Avoid any and ALL credit card purchases. The only card I have ever had that charges 35% interest for someone with a 720 credit score! The 0% APR for 18 months is great unless you can't afford to pay it off in 18 months. they then charge 35% on the original price of the item for those 18 months which doubles the price of the original purchase. Then continues to charge 35% interest until you pay off the item which has now become 3 times the sales price! Most unethical business model ever. I will NEVER do business with these people again and will encourage others to avoid them at all costs!!! read more

Monique is the absolute best! I was looking to upgrade the quality of my diamond earrings and she recommended I purchase loose diamonds. I came in and picked out the diamonds I wanted. She gave me all the education (VVS1, GIA certified, etc.) about the diamonds and had them send to the store. I fell in love with them. Then, she recommended I replace the earrings stem and have the earrings inspected and repaired. They look absolutely stunning. After a lengthy decision process, my wife and I decided on buying our daughter graduating from high school a pair of diamond earrings. We went to the Del Amo mall and found Zales Jewelry Store. We could see there were no customers and 2 staff. Presumably the older one was the store manager. We approached the young sale lady who didn't seem to be busy. I asked her to show us diamond earrings but told her we don't know much about diamonds so would appreciate her help in making a selection/ decision. So she walked us over to a glass case and said nothing. we were puzzled, so I asked which are the earrings? She replied "All of them". I reminded her that I knew nothing about this and would appreciate her explaining to use our options. The conversation went nowhere as it became a Q&A session, except I didn't know what Q's to ask. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ON 8/21/25!! My mother and I walked into the store looking for a birthday present. We walked up to the girls in the front who were sitting on their phones not paying any attention to their customers. I walked over and I asked them if they carried any Star of David necklaces and the girls in the front did not even look up from their phones while telling us no in aggressive tones. We turned around and walked out while they were laughing and talking under their breath. This was the most blatant discrimination/racism/hate I have ever experienced. I expected much more from this establishment and their employees. Definitely will not be coming back. read more

My experience was horrible. That's all I can say. I'm speechless with these promotional advertisements listing the item as ON SALE but it's really not. They get you to finance and when you pay a whole year on this promotional item, if you don't pay it all they add huge interest charges and all the payment you made for a year disappears and you start all over. My goodness, buyer beware. I thought I bought a ring on sale of $1,900, got it down to $1,100 after 12 months of payment and they said TOO BAD, you didn't pay it all off, so we adding $900 back into your account. Now I pay $70 a month for this stupid ring all over again and the interest is $60 a month...so I'm only paying $10 towards this ring. OMG! I tried asking for assistance but of course again BUYER BEWARE. I've never written a review, I always take the high road, but this is ridiculous. I even called and tried to negotiate, they sent me to HARDSHIP dept. This isn't about hardship, this is about doing the right thing no matter what a person's income is...this sucks! The employees are very nice when selling jewelry to you and many pieces are beautiful. However, PLEASE BE ADVISED that when they offer you the PROMOTIONAL no interest credit card... you MUST pay by the end of the 12 months or they will charge you a ridiculous amount in interest which I was not advised about prior to applying for the credit card. You will not be charged interest on the amount owed, but on the INITIAL CHARGE to the card. You must pay at least double-triple (depending on your amount) of the minimum payment. If you cannot or do not want to this, pay in full and DO NOT apply for the credit card. When you speak with the credit card company, they also do not care if this was the case. THIS BUSINESS IS A SCAM! I AM REPORTING THEM FOR FRAUD! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I bought my girlfriend diamond hoop earrings with white gold, that I was going to give to her this Saturday. I paid for signature upon delivery. Yesterday when it was delivered, it was tossed at the door. No knock or anything. I thought it had to have been an Amazon package because I specifically paid for signed delivery. I opened the box and an entirely different pair of earrings was delivered. Diamond pear shaped ones. I immediately messaged zales and the person I spoke to said they have to get back to me within 7-14 days to come up with a response. Why would it take 7-14 days to respond when they clearly didn't give me the earrings I paid for? This was a mistake on their end and I needed these by this Saturday. Today I took them over to a gem stone expert and the man said that these earrings looked to be silver are most likely counterfeit. I had them checked out to see if it would be an even exchange and give them to her. You would think that this business would do everything in their power to fix THEIR mistake! Had the most absolute worst experience. I came in to PICK UP my order I placed online. Lady named Carol "helped" me checkout. However, she takes it out and touches all over my bracelet (I have already purchased) showing it off to her daughter saying "I found your dad's Christmas present". Like okay great I love it too that's why IIII bought it can we stop touching it?? After she's done touching it she asks me if I would like to see it. I kindly said no because I was only trying to pick up and go. Then she puts it on her wrist?!! I already thought it was weird she was touching it. And now she's wearing it?? As she's putting it on she asks me how to put it on. I just bought it. I am picking up now. Girl, YOU TELL ME tf. Then she actually has the audacity to wear the bracelet as she's doing the computer work to check me out. Umm?!! I tried to hint "oh does it go in the bag?" She's like "yeah I'll give it to you right now" EXCUSE ME?? At this point I'm furious. I had to ask her "do you mind putting it in the bag?" She then finally takes it off. How long was she planning on wearing it??? This was a gift for my bf and he doesn't even get to wear it first? Very disrespectful. Where are her boundaries? I switched to this store after having a terrible experience at their Lakewood store and I am so glad I did. The attention and service I received at this location was phenomenal! The Asst. Manager, Alexandra and Candace were both assisting me with getting my ring sized properly along with helping me decide on an enhancer. I had so much fun in there trying on everything they had and I felt like they had my needs and wants in mind. My husband bought me a necklace at this store for Christmas. It broke the first day. What kind of expensive necklace breaks on day 1? When he went to exchange it they didn't have the necklace at this location so he went to Glendale. He asked to renew the 30-day warranty and they said no, so he decided to return it. They said no returns. He showed them the receipt that said he was still within the return window. Thankfully, he had the receipt and didn't listen to them. Note: He bought this item at the Zales in Torrance, which was more helpful than the Glendale location, but not by much. read more

My ring from there was gorgeous and I loved it my issue was that my fiance got it in the wrong size and it was going to be a surprise for christmas they told me I had to buy a whole other ring and try to exchange it . Went to this store to see if I could get my ring fixed because it had a minor but noticeable imperfection. It was a gift and came with a warranty. I always thought it didn't matter what store you went to to get things situated but I guess it does especially at this location. The rep who "helped" me seemed like she really didn't know what to do and also seemed like she just didn't really care to help me. She sent to me to the original location where the ring was purchased in which they told me it doesn't matter which location you go to. It was much more out of my way, but they managed to help me out tremendously and make it priceless. I cannot day enough good things about this place but especially Alex! My now husband went in to surprise me with an engagement ring and with her help he found me the perfect ring that I love. Unfortunately he got the wrong size so I brought it back in to get it resized. We went back to Alex who sold him the ring and she could not have been more helpful! She genuinely loves her job and helping people find the perfect jewelry. She helped me find my husbands wedding band, a wedding gift for my husband (a beautiful bulova watch!), gifts for our parents, and now helped my sis in law get all of her jewelry for her wedding as well! We have gained a close relationship with Alex that you just can't find anywhere! She even came to our wedding because we felt it wouldn't be the same without the girl the blinged us up. What really was bad was the customer service I received when I picked up my order. I was not greeted, the guy remained seated asking what I needed. I give this place 2 stars only because the Zales rep Tuesday is very helpful. My wife had her ring resized and it was lost in transit, not Zales fault. I was told I would have one in one week, so when I called the manager, she then proceeds to tell me some bs that it arrived at the jeweler for sizing and I should wait another week. It's going on 4 weeks. I was told it would be ready 1/23 for sure, not so and no phone call. Customer service sucks and that's my fault for going to a mall franchise jeweler.
