If I could give a 0 I would. The entire store had signs that said "buy 2 get 2 free.... Like literally EVERYTHING." The entire store. At check out the lady said no that's just clearance. And the clearance has a sign that said clearance plus buy 2 get 2. The sales lady was absolutely awful. Jamie! So rude about it. I asked to talk to the manager which she said she was. But there was no way. This was my daughter's first experience at Clair's. Needless to say we will not be going back. So disappointing. read more

Wish I had the video to post.. we took our niece in there today to get her ears pierced, she is 3 months old so we made an appointment asking that someone with a lot of experience could do it for us. We came in and the girl working this morning talked about how she has done a ton of piercings and did a 4 month old yesterday so it made us feel comfortable. Well right before it started we asked how long she had been doing it... she said "well honestly about a month" so now we were nervous but she assured us that it is so easy and will be fast and smooth. So now I'm holding my niece and we told her to go from one ear to the next and make it as quickly as possible so it wasn't to bad for her... she gets the first side done, not very good. It snagged a little as she was pulling away. Then she gets to the next ear and this is where it got really bad. She pierced the ear and didn't do something right with it and the earring gets stuck half in my nieces ear and have in the piercing thing. So for the next 3-4 freaking minutes, she continues to try to get it out and it's tugging on her ear and she is screaming and it got to the point of me asking if she needs to get away so we could figure this out. It was really bad. Clare's needs to either get better equipment to be piercing or need to only allow experienced employees to do it. Super upset about this. The girl didn't apologize or check on my niece afterwards. I'm sure she felt bad but she didn't act like it. So then we paid the $90 freaking dollars and left. I made sure she knew this was not okay before I left... wouldn't recommend making an appointment with just any employee there and at least be aware of the risks beforehand. read more

They charged me 2 times for something I returned never refunded me and then said that would be the over all price of the items. And there's nothing they can do. They're customer service is fucking shit. And the "assistant manager " clearly has not been trained. Because how the hell do you still charge me for something returned? read more

I went there last weekend to get my 7 month old daughters ears pierced. We had Kat do them, she was friendly, informative and was easy going (my toddler was in there too and he is hyper). The only reason I give a 4 star is because while marking ears she did one ear lower than the other, I told her I liked the look of the lower piercing and she said she would match the other one to the lower one but never re marked the spot. So basically we ended up pretty lop sided. I told her after and she said the earring would fall a little after healing completely but it truly doesn't look like it will even out. BUT the ear piercings themselves look really good. No redness, no crusty stuff, no irritation nothing! we splurged and got the white gold earrings which might of made a difference. honestly I highly recommend this place my only thing is making sure they are EVEN before getting pierced. I will probably let the super high side of my daughters heal and re do it just because I'm super OCD. My 7 month old was also moving a lot and I completely understand it's probably hard to get babies perfect so I don't blame her at all. Highly recommend! read more

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. The first time we were met with the unfriendliest welcome ever. No greeting would have been better. The second time they did not get my daughters appointment for ear piercing correct - normally I would blame myself for getting it wrong but they made it for a day we will be out of town and my entire family heard the whole phone call of making the appointment in the car. They were only marginally apologetic and in no way accommodating. Never getting my business again. read more

I love this location! I have been to several Claire's throughout the US but this is the only one that I have found that consistently has merchandise in stock. More importantly, EVERY time I go there I am greeted with a smile and the staff always checks to see if I need anything. They are always polite and take the time to help me when I need it. I would not recommend them, both my daughter and I got our ears pierced there our third hole, both of us had trouble with our ears getting infected, I had to go somewhere else to get a better solution that would clear the infection .Not only is the solution that they want you to use horrible but the earrings are not good quality. It just was not a good situation at all. read more

I bought several accessories for myself and the flower girls at my wedding about 9 months ago (trying to get a head start on the little things so I wouldn't have so much to do last minute). I tried to return several of the items today ($40-50 worth) because a few little things have changed with our outfits during that time. I brought everything back with tags on, in the bag that they've been sitting in this whole time. Not only was I not allowed a refund, but they wouldn't even give me store credit. They said after 60 days there's nothing they can do for me.. i was talking about our wedding (still 9 weeks away from today) when I purchased this stuff, the lady said it's great I'm getting a head start, she never told me about any time limit on returns or any policy of the sort.. i think this is so unfair! And when I asked the woman why they don't make people aware of the policy, especially when they share their situation at checkout she said it's right here for everyone to see and pointed to a small sign with a bunch of tiny lettering that was hidden BEHIND another sign on the counter, like anyone would ever see that, let alone think to read it. I'm very surprised at the lack of customer service and no exceptions, no help, there's just nothing we will do for you, attitude. It may be $40-50 but that really helps sometimes.. especially during the finak days befire a big event. Now I just have useless overly priced accessories I wouldn't wear on any other occasion.. i shouldn't have come back after my Daughters ears became infected after being pierced here and the lack of aftercare questions they were able to answer in that situation, I had to take her to the doctor, and then a local piercing shop to get our questions answered and make her more comfortable. Claires in the old mill cares more about their price quota then any sort of customer care or satisfaction. I've always been polite and always supportive because my Daughters love this store, but I'm DONE. My family and I will no longer support this business or speak kindly when asked about it. read more
