I recently lost a silicone nose piece for a pair of my WP glasses, and visited earlier today. A feature I really appreciate is that whether the shop is busy or not, upon entering I'm greeted by a representative who asks for my email address. Once given, I'm immediately placed in line for whatever service I need. I get a text instantly, letting me know I'm in the queue and will be served in the order I arrived at. This is really, really, important when the shop is busy. Each visit, I've been treated with respect and courtesy; and have been able to resolve my concerns with a minimum of effort. Abood was helping me today, and I've come to trust the staff at the Old Town Alexandria shop for all of my vision needs (although I still rely on my long-time opthalmologist to do the medical and vision exams each year). I'm very favorably impressed with the service, the staff, and the quality of the experience.

FMJ is like no other military surplus store I've ever been to. The selection is better than anything I've seen. Over the years I've collected many different items. Some for work, others for my home office collection. But every time I enter the store, for better or worse I always leave with something. They stay busy on social media as well and are very interactive. Check them out on Instagram if you have one, sometimes you can see some of the surplus on there before it hits their shelves. Easiest 5/5 stars I've ever given. Next time I'm in the DMV I will be stopping by. It's tradition at this point.

Huge super malls like this are becoming more and more rare…read more This one is massive - with about 4 floors and dozens of stores. It's impressive to see and walk around in and has almost every store and type of food you could want. I enjoyed Nordstrom, Dumplings, Ice Cream, White House Black Market, Macy's, Lululemon, etc. etc. They have all the usual chains (Victoria's Secret....) but some other boutique stores as well. Huge food court on the lowest level and a private entrance into the Ritz Carlton which is attached to the building. Super convenient if you are staying at the hotel, as I did, and I was here every day to people watch, get snacks, or just to walk the levels and get some exercise.

Whether I'm making a planned trip or just stopping by on a whim, I always enjoy browsing the stores. Some days I have better luck than others, but that's just the nature of shopping--sometimes you find exactly what you're looking for, and sometimes you don't! Most of the stores I shop at are clean, and the staff is generally friendly and helpful. The outdoor areas are always well-kept and have plenty of seating for people to relax. The bathrooms are also fairly clean, which is always a plus. One place I'm not a huge fan of is the Starbucks. One of the cashiers can be a little unfriendly and rude toward customers. The first time I interacted with him, I thought maybe he was just having a bad day or was tired. However, after having another interaction with him and witnessing how he spoke to another customer before me, I realized that maybe it's just his personality. ‍ Overall, I really like this outlet center. The stores typically have great sales throughout the year, and there's a nice variety of options for everyone--it just depends on what you're looking for. Open air mall with lots of restrooms, seating, and a few food trucks & choices to match. This outlet has it all. The focus is on shopping, so food choices tend to be slim and there are a few food trucks in a little park to help ease those hunger pains while shopping. The stores are always on trend and well-stocked with bargains. I've never had any issues at any of the shops finding what I need and the staff in the stores are always helpful. Definitely, one of my favorite shops for "grab and go' items or shopping for the holidays! You can't go wrong with shopping at this place. Definitely recommend a visit.
