The dish had a little bit of a kick, but not too much. I found it to be very filling, I didn't finish all of my rice. Good value, good service as well. Appetizer: honey ginger wings, also good! Nice flavor and crunch.

We didn't have a reservation and were accommodated quickly. Our waitress checked in with us often and provided great service throughout the meal. The reason for the 3 stars is the food and drinks. Most of us ordered lychee martinis, and they were very vodka forward with only the slightest taste of lychee. For my entree, I went with the chicken Thai basil fried rice. The presentation was beautiful, and they definitely give you a good amount of food, but it was lacking in flavor and had this distinct charred taste that I couldn't pinpoint. Overall, it was just very average. We had two upcoming birthdays at the table, and the brownie sundaes were good! We accidentally received a banana split as well, and it did not look like a banana split at all. It was very strange. We also ordered the churros, which tasted good, but the issue was that they weren't thoroughly cooked and had raw dough inside . Overall, this place does have a lot of potential. I also saw they were starting to play the Barbie movie as I was leaving which is cool. The place itself and service were great, but the food and drinks could definitely use some improvement.

The coffee shop is now a small space with just a few tables inside, no longer a place to come with a larger group. The menu has also shrunk, I believe vanilla and mocha were the only flavors available for a latte. There used to be a salted maple latte I enjoyed but that's disappeared after whatever remodeling process they went through. They also "don't do" any disposable materials, so you can only really have your drink "for here" unless you bring your own mug. Not sure why this was the move as opposed to finding more sustainable drink packaging. I wasn't a fan of the nondairy milk they use, my vanilla oat milk latte was thin and overall subpar. The place has taken up more of a marketplace vibe with eclectic snacks/sauces/jams/etc. available for purchase. It still is a fantastic location with beautiful outdoor seating facing Central Park North, so you can't take that away from them. Unfortunately just no longer a go to for me.

An employee approached me after the call and said, "That would be your last call here......this isn't a WeWork". If calls aren't permitted, that's completely understandable. When our group arrived, it seemed most of the staff were new, since they couldn't tell us any information about their menu items or provide any recommendations, and the few experienced staff were too busy to provide help, which was a bummer. However, one of our group who frequents the cafe did say the owner comes in often and is a nice, personable guy. Ordered a sandwich and a drink, both of which were fine, but also slightly overpriced and honestly a bit simple (as in I could've made both myself with common ingredients at home). The cafe were also missing some key ingredients (I believe they were out of milk, peanut butter, and strawberries), so they couldn't make quite a few of their drinks, which was odd considering it was only noon at the time. Overall, my experience with the cafe wasn't bad, but I wasn't impressed with their menu value nor the ability of the staff to provide adequate service. I'd love to come back and be proven wrong though.

It just didn't taste good. I barely taste vanilla and it has that weird sugarfree aftertaste. They also didn't have whole milk and charged 75¢ for 2% milk? Weird.

We ordered different brunch items as well as a basil berry lemonade, which was absolutely amazing. The huevos rancheros were so good. The biscuit that came with one of the dishes wasn't great, not fluffy like you would expect a biscuit to be. The tomato sauce was an unexpected delight. It was like a mix between salsa, pasta sauce and ketchup. This is a great restaurant for basic American breakfast/brunch classics and yummy drinks. If you're in a rush, this restaurant is a great choice. If you want to hang around, I think that's acceptable too. With $6 glasses of wine, $10 cocktails and $1 oysters, what's not to love?? We started with a round of espresso martinis which were made well albeit a bit on the small side. No complaints though. We sheepishly ordered 3 dozen oysters which the bartender was glad to entertain. The oysters arrived clean and neatly shucked with very little shell. The lemon, mignonette and cocktail sauce were pretty standard. We also ordered the truffle fries but these fell a little short for me as they weren't dressed very well - they were also soggy, had very little parmesan and only faint truffle flavor. Service was quick and efficient and everyone was super gracious. Things moved quickly and we appreciated that a lot. If you are in the area hop by here and try this place!
