That meant a lot to me as a customer to know I wouldn't have to deal with breakdowns and excuses from using old and broken tools and gear. Start to finish, my job was done in three days. I can't say enough how happy I am with the finished product. They did a 20 x 25 brushed finish patio, and a 5 x 10 pad next to my garage. However, the company as a whole seems to put their technicians in an unfair position, using outdated upselling tactics and presenting customers with excessive prices, unfair policies, and unlawful charges. I truly hope these technicians find employment with a better company. The service was supposed to include inspection and sweeping/cleaning. However, they claimed they couldn't perform the sweeping/cleaning due to a blockage and wanted to charge $295 per hour to "unblock" the chimney--without providing any estimate of how long it would take. Isn't clearing blockages part of the sweeping/cleaning service? Naturally, we declined. What's worse is the company then tried to charge us for services they didn't complete, citing transportation costs (a 20-minute drive from Pataskala to Gahanna). Let me be clear: I never agreed to pay for transportation, and I will not pay for services that were not performed. They could not provide any evidence of me agreeing to these additional charges. It seems they rely on customers not knowing their rights. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company. Save your money and find a deal on Groupon instead!
